Daniel looked at her gently "you don't think i missed you, but what else i was i supposed to do. i left you alone so you could see how life is with out me"

Winter looked at Daniel and said softly, "Life without you is like living in a cellar, espeicailly when you're pregant and the father is off abandoning you for beer, and when you give birth and when you want to show the father his child he calls you a witch. Life isn't fun unless you have someone with you."

Daniel hissed gently as he looked at her "the reason i went to drink, was to fill in the gap that you left. other wise i would have been there" he said angrly

Winter to about to speak when Aaron moved slightly in her arms. She looked down at him and smiled gently, combing back his fuzz of tiny hairs. She said this without thinking, "He looks just like you...." Her eyes melted whenever she saw the little boys deep blue eyes. It felt, to her, as if she held a little piece of Daniel wherever she went.

daniel looked at her "you can't be sure about who he will look like until the grow older." he said gently. He then looked up to the stairs seeing some of the slaves looking at them

Winter said gently, "Well right now he looks a little like you. I think the only thing he has of me are my eyes." She looked up at Daniel smiling sweetly. She was the happiest she had been in a while The baby moved again and she rocked him softly, and smiled back at him when he cracked a happy grin.

daniel shrugged a bit "what ever floats your boat Winter. I have some issues to deal with from the otehr slaves" he said. he turned around and headed upstairs

Winter whispered softly, her voice trailing off, "Okay..." She went back up the stairs to her room and she laid Aaron on her bed, nd gently tickled his tummy with two fingers, hearing him giggle and giggle. When he was truly tired she put him in the cradle and went off to take a quick shower, but when she undressed and looked in the mirror, the image looking back surprised her. Winter had grow very skinny, to where you could almost see her ribs. Her eyes looked too big for their sockets and the dark circles wouldn't go away. She shook her head and got into her shower.

Daniel sat down at his desk and one by one listened to the complaties the slaves had. once they were all done, he got up heading to the room he and winter shared. He rubbed his head as he walked to the closet to undress

Winter came out of the shower, wraped herself in a towel and stepped out back into and yelped gently, blushing furiously. "I didn't see you there...." She smiled gently.

Daniel looked over his shoulder at her "what we share the same bed and all. what is the big suprise now" he said gently

Winter smiled and said softly, "Its just I didn't hear you come in and you surprised me and all." She still blushed.

"that cause you were in the shower. if you were paying attention you would have know. other wise you would have been dead if someone wanted to kill you" he said. he slipped his shirt off and then his pants

Winter went over to get her nightgown and quickly changed, before looking at Daniel, "I suppose you're right on that one..."

daniel nodded "it is no problem at all really. i just don't want people getting murdered and killed in my house" he said calmly
