User ImageRanka appeared calm, but internally she was worried. Had she done something wrong? Since she was a little afraid to look at him, she was trying to read his spirit and it seemed calm.... Relaxed. So it allowed her to as well. It seemed she was alright. From what she could tell at least. She certainly hoped so.

His words calmed her further, glad to know it was just that though it still lodged the tiniest pellet of worry into her chest. "I... I know I don't express myself like other girls do. I probably am not as good at it as they are." She murmured softly, her eyes remaining on the flowers. She still felt some discomfort, and she was forcing it away, noting she sensed Sheryl outside. Unimportant. For the moment, must soothe self. "I was not.. made for such things. The fact this attraction exists is a shock considering otherwise it would serve no purpose for my work. Only hinder it. Creates possible compassion for those I have to take into the realm of death, may want to bend rules to save them. Like with Tristan. The Elder's permitted that one only once, they will not permit such a thing again." She took a deep breath, exhaling slowly, almost seeming distressed for a moment, feeling very cold again. He felt warm, so very warm. She would never be warm. Not again, this she knew.

"I was... afraid for a moment that I had done something wrong. That I was not as I should be in this type of relationship. I..... Seiji..." She stopped herself, blinking since she was being so very illogical. She finally looked up to him, her brows knitted together. "Why feel such attraction for me? It is illogical." She asked softly, and by all conclusions it was. She was very similar to those she dealt with, making her almost dead. He was alive, he could chose from any other girl that was warm, held the need to breathe, understood these notions that she did not.

User ImageSo, tempting was it? Hyunn was beginning to like Vira more and more. She was afraid to flirt back like some girls were. He could get used to her company, considering he'd be here for however long. The fact that she seemed to be laughing and moving around just showed she was having fun. When she leaned inward, Hyunn let his eyes lock onto hers, watching her inch closer and closer. "Tempt you hm? Well, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Then again, I'm sure you wouldn't mind either, would you? Maybe I'll make sure I wear some white soon enough." As she winked and fluttered away, his eyes watched her go, seeing Vira floating about.

She seemed really suited to being in the air. It was a good thing she loved it so much, seeing her swirl and dance around through the air made her look so elegant. He probably looked silly up in the air when he'd been flying. All stiff and slow. Not like her at all, though that could change in time. When he was better with flying. "Storm huh? Well, I don't mind the rain sometimes. Can be fun. But thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to avoid the pool for tomorrow. Maybe another day then." Another one of the quirks he abilities probably helped her with. She was like a weather girl, who would be right all of the time. Probably pretty useful for planning things out.

She seemed to be having fun moving around him. Rather then moving on the spot to follow her movements, he stayed still, just letting his eyes rest upon every time she came into his view. He laughed a little at this. As long as she was having fun though. So the options were somewhat limited, but they could find things to do. The atmosphere between them was good. "Hmm. Well, most of my childhood was spent watching tv or running around out doors. So do either of those things sound like an option to you?" He didn't mind what they did, but Hyunn was one who liked to leave things open to debate.

User ImageHe had upset her, to some degree. He could tell this simply because she was still not looking to him. His smile faded listening to her speak. Emotions could be so complex and difficult sometimes. Though that was part of what made them so worth it in the end. He hoped she could see this. He paused his step as she spoke, seeing how this conversation was turning out. So, she was having some doubts herself. Probably because of his own question. He regretted asking it now. He didn't want her to have to worry about it. Every individual was different, he had simply been thinking on how she felt. Now it seemed the situation had reversed.

Seiji took a few steps quickly, turning to face Ranka and block her path as her stopped walking. "Ranka." he said calmly, letting his hand slip from hers as he hands raised up to her neck, resting gently there for a moment and then to her cheeks. When their eyes met, Seiji was silent for a few moments. Just letting her words sink in before he started to speak. "The fact that...we are attracted to each other at all says something in and of itself. You might not be able to express yourself as well as anyone else, but that doesn't mean you don't hold the same feelings as the rest of us." He was confident that she would be able to someday anyway. It would only be a matter of time really. "Regardless of what effects having emotions might have on your work...I'll do whatever I can to make it worth while for you."

Seiji hoped his words would comfort her. Her lack of ability to show her emotions made it slightly difficult to know if they did or not. But he continued on anyway. His lips curled into a smile, hands still upon her cheeks. "You've done nothing wrong. I was just being human, thinking too much. The relationship is new....to both of us. I chose you for a reason." He paused for a moment, just looking over her features. "You're unique. On my travels. I saw all sorts of women and people. Each one of them often held concern over fretting little matters and trivial things. But that's what we do. Not every action a person makes is going to be logical. That's part of how emotions influence us. Just because it wouldn't be logical to sacrifice oneself in place of another person. Doesn't mean that they wouldn't still do it. That fact that you're a beautiful woman might have also had some influence." Seiji added the last bit in as a bit of humor, hoping she would understand then. Then leaned inward and pressed his lips to her forehead for a moment, before pulling back to see how she reacted to his words.

User ImageTristan blinked as she suddenly took off, chuckling to himself at how energetic she was. Not as much as Vira could be, but certainly close. Oi. Wonder if Dad felt like this when mom went off. He smirked to himself and shook his head, doing his best to keep up with her. It was a little odd going up the hill since his legs were longer than before and he still wasn't quite used to them. He still didn't trip or fall or anything which he was thankful for. Though he did tighten his grip on his bag a bit just to be safe. As they ran through the field, he smiled, thinking of how a child would run and skip through such a place with the butterflies floating around them. As she slowed he did almost start to look but then she was off again and he had to hurry to keep up.

Almost feel like an old man here. He chuckled to himself and shook his head once more, taking a deep breath of the woodland smell. The trees.... the soil.... All of it. It was very relaxing. He was glad that they slowed down as they continued onward, his eyes glancing about them. It did startle him a little when he felt a small spark in the palm of the hand holding his bag, lifting it up as an orb of electricity formed, illuminating the area in the slightest. Though it faded as soon as it had appeared, blinking a bit. Huh. He'd have to remember it did that.

As they arrived at the stone, he slowed, not standing too too close, just content to watch her recharge. It was almost like a page of a childs fantasy book with it's pictures of fairies surrounding Queen Titania or some such, a soft smile rising to her lips. She was beautiful, though that was always. It was just the glow around her accentuated it. He blinked as she patted the stone, taking a brief moment before he did head over, placing down his bag near the stone. "Well, we'll see eh?" He smiled slightly and took a seat, stiffening for a moment as he felt a jolt throughout his system before it was like too many endorphins were settling in. Oooohhh.... hohoho!! He felt all tingly, some sparks rolling off different parts of him. At first his shoulders and arms then his legs, some on his head. "Hoooo......I could get used to this.... Hehehe." He chuckled like a goof, swaying from side to side in a lazy-happy sort of matter.

User ImageVira shrugged her shoulders lightly as she looked up innocently as if there weren't a dirty thought in her head. Which there wasn't, but he didn't have to know that. "Mmmm..... Maaaaaybe. I'll have to see how mischievous I feel that day hm?" She giggled, brushing some of her bangs aside. Her braids flowed down her back, the mist now gone from her back. Yes, no more pain.

Tilting her head, she nodded, slowing to a stop in front of him, completing one last spin before she did so. "Yep! My advice would be to stay indoors all day to be safe if at all possible. I'll probably be found outside though." She winked again, almost seeming to walk in place, humming lightly to herself. "Judging by the amount of water I sense in the air now.... The storm should only last a day. The day after tomorrow will be less hot for sure." She concluded, nodding as if to confirm it to herself.

She awaited his thoughts patiently, her golden eyes coming to rest on him since she thought she had seen a dragon on the roof near their own. Hm.... Could have been. There were people talking. Ignoring that for now, she listened to him, chuckling at the sound of his childhood. "Sure! You can tell I'm sort of an outdoors type of person. But either is fine. I haven't watched much TV ever so it's still somewhat new to me." She answered, landing on the roof next to him, looking up to him, having to stand a bit close lest she tip too far to the left and fall off. Not that it would really be a problem for her.

Elly smiled as Tristan experienced the sensation that she normally did, though his had more spark to it than hers did. It looked like the cresent stone did what it was supposed to do, keep the peace between powers. "If you listen closely, you can hear the sounds of the forrest more, like it's enhanced. It's like you become one with the stone which is part of the earth and it allows you to hear its secrets. I wonder how old it is..." she told him and thought outloud. She listened to the rock more closely, wondering if it could tell her anything, but nothing, voice wise, could be heard. she sighed slightly, her smile still of her face as she looked up to the sky, the clouds rolling by the only part that was visible. She felt so much more recharged now. She could use her powers to their full extent and everything. It was like she was a battery that was rechargable and ready to be put back into a camera or something.

User Image"A whole century huh? Must be rare. Then again, so are beings like myself and the people here. A small collective of people with powers." the kitsune commented. He listened to Sheryl as she talked about herself and her sister. Rena looked over to see a leaf tumbling around on the rooftop and began to pounce and bat at it.

"Well, mostly Buddhists, but there are actually a collective of people from a wide range of religious groups: Christians, Wiccans, Hindus and Pagans, all living together peacefully and not trying to kill each other. As for my weapons, I think they reflect on some of those beliefs, like the sanctity of life. As you can imagine I had time on my hands, and with what allowance I had for all the daily chores, I developed specialty arrows. Started with something simple like filling a small paper balloon with finely ground pepper and fixing it to a blunt arrow shaft. Then I got more advanced, took apart a tazer and fixed up an arrow shaft to contain the make-shift battery, added a compression button in the notch so it activated when the arrow's knocked into the bow, and stuns whoever it hits." he explained as he leaned his back against the wall near the roof entrance.User Image

User ImageLilly stood before the double doors of the massive college building. She felt nervous and deep inside, almost petrified. Unlike most others, she admitted herself to this place rather than any parents or guardians. Of course, the fact both of her parents were dead didn't help matters like that.

It wasn't the fact of being around students with unbelievable powers that scared her; it was how she would be accepted, or rejected, by them. That and there was always the looming fear that she might accidentally use her power. Even something as simple as writing down a teacher's name as per required at most all schools for turning in homework and projects would prove fatal in her hands.

She walked into the building after taking a slow, deep breath. She approached the front desk and handed her entry packet in. Upon it, in big, bold letters, she had written a personal note:

Please, do not tell me your name or the name of anyone else. Use a fake name or an alias. This concerns my power and would put people's lives in danger.

The lady gave an odd look, but there were many students who feared their powers when they first started. Though it was odd that names were involved in this one.

Looking through her prepared packet by the school, it seemed as though she would be roomed up with someone of the opposite gender. "Well then miss Lilly, here is your packet. Please go upstairs and meet with the head master. He will certainly want to see you before sending you off to your dorm room. And from the looks of things, your roommate is also a new face and a male. If that is a problem, please let us know and we can change the arrangements."

"Thank you." Lilly spoke as she took her starter package. Once she climbed the stairs, she looked at the numbers for the room, making sure to try and avoid looking at any name plates. She did not want to associate any names and faces if she could help it. When she got to Atlas's office, she knocked and waited for a response.

User ImageRanka stopped as he moved in front of her, lowering her eyes again at her name. She was being irrational, illogical, and stupid. She had never been distressed like this before. Never. It was.... troubling. As she felt her neck grow warm and then her cheeks, she slowly raised her eye, holding his gaze. She took a couple of calming breaths, his words ringing true. He was right, the fact she cared about him in such a way was a miracle in itself. It proved her heart was not frozen. No matter how cold she felt right now. "You already have." She almost seemed to whisper it, lowering her eyes, closing them since she really couldn't bow her head. Not with his hands where they were.

She didn't feel as cold, feeling a little bit better yet some part of her remained troubled. She opened her eye slowly, a hand slowly, almost hesitantly coming up to touch his forearm, her eyes still remaining lowered. If she wasn't unique, she'd be concerned. She was made differently after all. If she found out the Elder's had more than one of her, she wasn't sure how she'd feel or react. Or what it meant. "Living creatures do seem to cling to small matters that mean nothing in the long run. I still don't quite understand why." She commented, falling quiet as she thought over such sacrifices. Yes.... she had met spirits who had done such things. She was beginning to understand why. Slowly, though the fact she was programmed to be utterly logical often conflicted in such matters.

She blushed as he called her beautiful, raising her gaze to meet his. She closed her eyes for a moment as he kissed her forehead, opening them as he pulled back. She...... She didn't know how she felt. Reassured, yet still conflicted. The dream appeared in her minds eye, only adding to how she was troubled. Her expression seemed to have softened in the slightest, showing she felt at the very least, a little better. "I appreciate your words Seiji." She said softly, now able to look at him. Her worries continued to whirl about her in her mind, but for the moment it had died down a bit. Perhaps it would be better to table it and think over it later. She wasn't sure what was the right thing anymore at this point.

User ImageHe chuckled like a goof, turning his head as he listened to her speak, humming to himself as he continued to sway. He raised an eyebrow, the feeling reminiscent of when he was with his mom and she was treating him to something. Or when his dad was teaching him things about his powers. Real pleasant feelings....

.... At least until he heard the scream in his head. It made him startle, the endorphin-y feeling rushing out of his system as he listened hard. What in the world..... Who was this? It was like the stone was linking him through some magnetic field of the earth or some tech way to another area. Fighting..... Dear god, it sounded like a horrible fight. He winced and touched a hand to his temple, his eyes shut tight at the intensity and empathic pain he was feeling. Oi. His eyes shot open as he received a visual, almost seeming to glow blue as the entirety of his eyes went black, even the cornea's.

"I told you to leave him out of this Richard!! Jose, get moving! I can-" *static* A woman was fighting off a raging man with flaming arms, his eyes glowing a brilliant red. There was a man throwing things at this flame guy, the two seeming quite the pair. *static* The scene jumped forward with the two on the run in a city. Wait... he knew their faces....and the location looked familiar.....

Tristan gasped for air as if he had been underwater, panting a bit as his brows furrowed, having to rub his temples again. It had been..... No, no that couldn't be right. He ran a hand through his hair, grimacing as he rose up from the rock. He'd have to do this carefully... He didn't want Elly to get involved though he already knew she probably would be. Should he let Vira know too? I bet she'd want to check in with the gang.... I know I would. God.... this couldn't be right, could it?

User ImageUser ImageSheryl nodded, "You bet it is. A rare gift, and sometimes not used for the best purposes." She confirmed, again nodding as she thought about how often she had seen a kitsune. "This is also true. Others have told me they are more... secluded in a way." Her eyes briefly glanced to Rena as she played with the leaf, Sayuri remaining on her shoulder and almost seeming.... bored.

Huh.... She wondered if she ever had to visit the place. Oh... wait.... Ranka would probably have been the one to know of such places. She traveled far more often than Sheryl ever had to. She tilted her head a bit, lowering her eyes briefly to think that over. Hmm.... this was true, he would. Still, good choice for the use of the time. "Thats fantastic. Inventor, resourceful... Just fantastic." She smiled, walking over to the fence, her fingers sliding into it, looking down to the world below before she turned to face him, brushing a couple of stray hairs from her face. "I've only used my time for my work up till now. Never really had the luxury of free time as I'm sure you can imagine. And well, different dimensions have different forms of amusement, etc etc. Glad you found something though. I'm not sure if I'd be able to handle such a life." She admitted honestly, realizing she probably shouldn't have mentioned dimensions but oh well, it was out now. Oops. Sayuri nudged her in the neck, reassuring her it was alright. Which meant the Elder's deemed it alright. Ok, thank you.

Everything was rather peaveful once they both listened to the stone and what it could do. Elly was used to its pain and her light magic allowed her to sooth it more than ever.

What made her jump was when Tristan gasped at what he saw. Elly saw it too, though she didn't say anything for the experience could have been different for him.
"I take it the celestial stone showed you something interesting? Anything I can do?" she asked, tilted her head to the side, waiting for what Tristan was to say or ask. She'd follow him anywhere.

User ImageThis had become a rather serious moment. Though Seiji had expected it. Asking such a question was bound to bring up this kind of conversation. If he had known he was going to upset her or bring on this kind of atmosphere he never would have brought it up. He hadn't meant to change the conversation into something like this. He was already regretting it. Seiji was simply going to have to try his best to cheer her up and make her feel better somehow. Even just seeing her avert her eyes from him told Seiji that she was feeling some sort of emotion. Probably not something positive either.

To hear that she was already finding her emotions worthwhile was a good relief. Seiji knew that sometimes a person could get pessimistic and depressed far too easily. For someone like Ranka who didn't know all that much about emotions, or at least was new to them in some form, that could be fairly easy. He would have to try and avoid anything like that in the future. He didn't want to upset Ranka. Not at all. When she seemed to come around again, he felt better. "It's the emotional attachment we have to those around us. Even if it's something that doesn't make sense to you, I'm sure it's something you've seen a lot of." The whole topic was something that could have been very sensitive. He didn't want to touch on it too much. Especially since he'd almost said something along the lines having that emotional attachment to her. If it came down to it, Seiji would have put his own life on the line to defend Ranka. But he wasn't sure what sort of reaction that would pull from her.

As he pulled back, Seiji could see the blush in her skin. It still seemed to have the same effect on her everytime he did that. He didn't mind it though, not at all. Feeling her hand on his arm, Seiji left his hands lower to the sides of her neck, sensing she was a little more at ease about the whole thing. Just observing her, Ranka seemed to be a little more relaxed. He smiled at her words and nodded, watching her eye look up to him finally. That was a good sign. "Of course. Couples usually try to give words of encouragement and reassurance to each other. It shows they care and want things to work. Asides from that, I brought it up. So I felt like I should try to cheer you up too."

User ImageIt wasn't like Hyunn was really trying to poke at that sort of thing. It just happened to come up. Why let a conversation fade out just because of the topic? She didn't seem to mind talking about it anyway. Flirting was fun, and unless she was going to change the topic on him Hyunn would continue with it. At least until he ran out of things to say. "Well, I'll be keeping a look out then. Never know when I might get water bombed by a mischevious flying cutie."

When Vira stopped orbiting around him, Hyunn's eyes focused in on her instead of just watching her pass by. He smiled at her words. "There's nothing wrong with the rain. It's the lightning I'm more worried about. So if it's just going to be a rainstorm then maybe I'll have to wonder about outside too." Hyunn had been caught in the rain more than once while visiting the beach. The feeling of the rain drops were always a cooling sensation so long as you were in the right mood. "Like a little weather girl aren't you? Haha." Hyunn stuck his tongue out at her after say this, unable to help himself.

Definitely easy to tell she was an outdoors type. Hyunn could hear faint sounds of other voices in the background. It must be getting later into the day if he could now hear other people. He didn't take his attention from Vira though. He didn't mind either option. They just had to make up their mind as to which one it would be. If they did stay outside though, they'd have to find something to do. "Well, that's perfectly fine though. Fresh air is good. Don't want to spend too much time watching tv either. Even if it can be pretty entertaining sometimes." He watched as she dropped down to the roof having to straighten up when she did.

User ImageTristan gritted his teeth and jumped up, grabbing his bag before he paused. "I have to go. Now. I'd rather not talk about it, but I'll be gone from the Academy for a few days. So will Vira." He answered, chills running up his spine. What if she saw it too? Dammit she'd want to come with..... He'd really rather keep this personal. "Is it.... Is it alright if I ask you to stay here? As in the Academy?" He asked hesitantly, turning to look at her, not realizing a portal had opened up behind him from the shadows of the trees. God dammit he was severely agitated. He had to know if they were who he thought they were. He winced as he felt another image come up. The abandoned theater... kids taking the two in.... Hidden sentries... Ah hell....

"You are still recovering and although I know you can hold your own, so I'd prefer you'd rest. Though thats not the full or main reason I'd like you to stay." He seemed like a panther that was restless, beginning to pace as he tried to think of the right words. She was his girlfriend now. She had a right to know his affairs. But he'd rather she stay out of this and explain at a point when he knew more. After whatever this was. "It's really...personal. It's not that I don't trust you, you know I do but.... " He sighed in frustration, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know enough. So, am I going to have to argue this point with you?" He asked softly, forcing himself to stop, crackles of electricity running down his arms as he tried to calm himself down.
