Pyroth couldn't help but laugh a bit. "I was like that too for a while, all doom and gloom, seeing the worst, but I realised eventually that you lose yourself more when you dwell on problems rather than ignoring them." The constant problems must have finally gotten to Billy and snapped him. It was more of a loss than most "I can definately see where you are coming from. Is there anything that might cheer him up a bit other than say, a cure?" It had been a while since he'd seen Billy and he wasn't sure what else had gone down in his life.
"I mean because if there's a way, I'm sure the ones that know him would be only too happy to help out."
He took another puff on the blunt, contentedly thump-thumping his tail behind him as he wagged it in response to being petted.

"I managed to cheer him up for a bit, and then... Well lets just say I'm not fond of the Billy on blow. Back before he transformed he tried to slice my throat open with his little switch blade because the staff took away his powdery lover... And he blamed me." Granted it was her fault, but she still associated coke with all their unsavory moments. To her, if the coke was gone, then he'd be much more amiable.
"Dr. Lockhart and I already tried... I offered to help..." Then with another puff of her joint and a wary eye towards the corners, she dropped her voice to a hoarse whisper while keeping her hand in the way of her mouth, "Moreau's been supplying him to keep Billy away from his fiance. Billy told her but she wouldn't believe it..."
Clearing her throat, she moved her hand back to where it had previously been resting. "Denial isn't just a river in Africa~." Absently, she let a couple of her tails whack playfully against the side of his head, careful of the lit blunt.

Pyroth listened with surprise. Apparently he'd completely missed that side of Billy, his only memory of Billy on coke being pretty pleasant, admittedly because he'd been on it too at the time. But definately he could remember the frantic state he'd been in when it first went missing. But going far enough to try and kill Antony over it?
"Seriously?"
He listened in even greater surprise at the further complications of the situation. "And I'm not surprised to hear Moreau's involved, he has a hand in most of the s**t that goes down on this island." he bristled slightly at just the thought before calming down again thanks to the chemicals in his system. He shook his head "She needs to start taking people seriously otherwise the lab's just going to keep playing her like a fool. If she doesn't watch herself there will come a day when she finds out what he's like too late and it'll be those involved with her, like Billy who'll get it."
He gave her a thoughtful frown. "And if it's all getting him down and he's coming to you about it, it's probably going to be messing with you too." shaking his head he sighed "It's hard to feel confident when your life is in the hands of staff who can't stop acting like children."
He smirked "Damn. I sound like an old man."

"Yeah..." She trailed off as he mentioned that he'd probably try and mess with her, especially now that she knew and because she was the one who called Lockhart at Billy's. Well ********. Luckily, her current state kept her from freaking out, and even from lingering on the depressing thoughts.
Though, she couldn't help but chuckle at his next statement. "That depends, how old are you?" Antony could tell he was older than her, but she just didn't know how much older.
"Aubrey's naive, and I have a hunch the good doctor has been one of very few, if that at all. You know how a lot of girls 'fall in love' with their cherry poppers...?" She commented wryly. Nevermind that she had been one of those girls, once.

Pyroth smirked wryly. "44, just turned it June 6th. In other words I /am/ old, just don't like feeling it." he normally hated admitting his age but now, what the hell did it matter?
He frowned, well aware that people did things like that, never actually having the chance to see past that initial first love. Those were often the kind of people who kept coming back like a kicked puppy whenever they were abused or mistreated. "Yeah, I know the type. Maybe one day she'll see past the haze and finally see the b*****d for what he is underneath what she's built him up to be. Though maybe not." he shrugged "Though if I ever did get a hold of the "good doctor" I'd give him an extra special injury just for her because she might never get her head together enough to give her one herself."
He hated people who preyed on the weaknessess of others and that earned the doctor a unique place on "the list"

"Eh, I've been with older," she chuckled, trying to figure out what the date was and failing, "If it's past June 23rd then I'm 28." Man, she really needed to get a calender.
Her hand had moved down to the back of his neck to continue the mix of pets and scritches that she was handing out. "Just pee on him for me and I'll adore you forever." A large smirk appeared across her small muzzle, and she looked positively gleeful at the mental image she was procuring.

Pyroth couldn't help but also laugh at that mental image. "Damn. I'd pay to get the chance to do that. Actually, there are quite a few things I'd get away with now I didn't ever before, and abilities too."
He blinked once before cackling like a lunatic "I can lick my toes." the absurdity amused him no end. "That's ******** disgusting." he sniggered loudly and took another puff. "But yeah, a chance to torment Moreau would be excellent, even just to rant at the git for the hassle he's caused. But no, he's safely locked up in his lab like a coward."

"Not like money is worth anything anymore, but..." She trailed off when he identified one of his abilities, "So, now you're the envy of many guys... You can lick your own balls. I am reminded of Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon... Was that the second or third one?"
A dramatic wave was offered before she took another draw from the joint, "I'm pretty flexible for someone who doesn't do yoga or whatever... But maybe that's cause I'm good at sex?"

Pyroth cringed. "Urgh. Hadn't thought of that. Don't think I'll be having anything to do with that ability anytime soon." It probably /wouldn't/ have been /so/ bad if he didn't look the way he did. As it was he just shuddered at the thought. "Can't remember what one it was, it's been so damn long since I last watched any movie at all. I might sometime, I hear the entertainment room has a pretty broad selection. At least of movies that aren't trying to be ironic."
Pyroth nodded and almost came out with " You are." before stopping himself. "Maybe the flexibility is part of the skill?" he said with a smirk.
"I used to be pretty flexible, did do yoga for a while, if only because Khan, the old owner of the tattoo parlour used to drag me to all sorts of wacky zen stuff whenever he felt like it. He called it the alternative scene, I called it "sweet holy hell, that guy has hooks in him." He thought it was funny to mortify me."

"They have those movies, I watched them at some point," she pointed out, carefully snuffing out the smoke in a nearby ashtray before shifting onto her side facing him. His comment brought a smile to her face, and she nodded. "Probably."
Her eyes lit up with the mention of hooks, "He did suspensions?" She had done a few pulls before, and was working her way up to a suicide before her 'vacation' landed her here. "I never got to do one, sadly."

The coyote nodded "Yeah, he was into everything and anything out of the norm. I mean I know tattooists are typically a bit eccentric - I fitted right in of course -" he smirked "But yeah, he was into the stuff I'd class as extreme. Made me come and watch him once, he was just lucky I owed him a favour because it originally freaked me the hell out. But yeah, he said it was comfortable and calming, I suppose I sort of understood why." he shrugged "I was probably too thin to get skin to hook anyway even if I'd wanted to."
He took the last draw of the blunt before waving a paw dramatically and adding "Oh yeah! The other thing he liked? Piercings. Scary piercings. Piercings he didn't warn me about beforehand. " he cackled aloud at the memory " But yeah, I won't even go there." he missed Khans old eccentricities though.
"I'd like to see him beat /these/ body mods anyway."

"I was a part of the body mod community, I know of scary piercings. I know of people who inject saline into places that shouldn't get such treatment..." She shook her head and yawned, reaching down to scratch an itch on her stomach. "I myself have gone through many piercings, which is what I love about them... You can take them out and they can heal."
Glancing down at her arms, she stared for a moment before sighing and frowning, "I rather miss seeing my tattoos. I look strange without them."

Pyroth nodded, thanks to Khan he'd been made aware of things he really hadn't want to be. "It's amazing some of the things they can do and be just fine afterwards." Pity he couldn't just take off his ears and replace them or something. Yawns were always contagious and he found himself mirroring Antony in that, the combination of asprin and his smoke settling him into a sleepy contented haze.
He glanced over at her arms and frowned "I miss seeing them too, they were exceptionally well done. I miss mine a bit aswell despite them being simplistic." He rolled over slightly, his chest facing upwards , his paws resting across it. "If I was back home, Khan would probably be telling me of the wonders of branding by now and how there's only like a fifty percent chance I'd get infected and die." he grinned, clearly talking with just a bit of sarcasm.

Her tails lazily flicked behind her as she brought her knees closer towards her chest, stuffing her bottom hand under the pillow to fluff it somewhat. Now she was suddenly very tired. "Thanks," she murmured before yawning once again.
"Branding never really was my thing, nor scarification for that matter." Antony smiled as she watched him roll onto his back, reaching out to rub his stomach. "I guess the affections are a plus, imagine the amounts you'll be getting now."

"I don't really much fancy either myself, too risky and unpredictable. Nine times out of ten you end up with nothing more than a mess."
Pyroth himself was tired out by the transformation, the adrenalin in his system only now beginning to subside. He was immesurably grateful to Antony for helping him out and sticking around for him. He stretched his paws out once and nodded "Admittedly the affections are a good side of it." he had never really been able to relax around people as a human, always too self-concious but now he could care less. He yawned again, almost dozing off.
"Damn, I'm out of it." he grinned "Want me to shift to the floor?, don't want to get your bed all coyote fur, at least yours barely shows up on the sheets."
