 [Silverstar staggered at Thunderpaw's words, knowing the truth of them. She gazed into the stars, realization dawning on her.]
"But why? Shouldn't we unite?"
[Silverstar whispered. She was torn. These cats knew exactly where to hurt her: her Clan and her apprentice. She bared her teetch and let out a menacing snarl. She flexed her claws as she thought of the giant cats that Icestorm described in her dream. She knew that these cats would stop at nothing. They would kill.]

[[Listen up everybody! Leopardstreak won't be online much until next Monday, and Winged Timberwolf will be RPing her characters in her place! Leo will still be online once a day or so, but not much and not nearly enough to catch up with things happening in the Clans. And yeah, she asked me to tell you all. [Brightspirit glanced up at Silverstar in surprise, attending the gathering? What an honour]
"Thank you, Silverstar. Riverfang and I understand what you're trying to say about your Clan, and it's ok. We weren't really expecting a warm welcome anyways."
[She glanced up, taking in the whole scene]
"Is Thunderpaw ok?"
[Riverfang seemed troubled by Silverstar's words. He did remember her past. And it wasn't a good one. The horrors she had described left him and Brightspirit with nightmares]
"Silverstar, who's trying to kill the leaders?"
[He asked quietly]

(( I'll be RPing as Silverstar in Leo's absence.
And I think she was confused about what happened to Thunderpaw...star clan cats spoke and told us to divide and conquer the star slayers. X D ))
[Turning to her old friends, Silverstar let out a frustrated sigh.]
"It seems there's something after us," she murmured quietly, in response to Riverfang's question. "Intent on creating chaos in the clans. And what Thunderpaw- or rather, the spirits who took over her- were saying is that we must divide the evil and conquer it."
[Silverstar's head whirled, and she made a connection.]
"Which means there's more than one enemy," she said softly, "a group."

[Brightspirit lowered her head]
"Why are they intent on killing us?"
[Riverfang looked around]
"Well, I'm glad we came when we did. We want to help keep the Clans safe"

[Silverstar nodded. A warm feeling floated through her heart.]
Eyes twinkling, she said, "I'm glad you came, too. It'll be nice to have some old friends around for support."
[She looked at her friends warmly, but Thunderpaw's rising flank caught her attention once more.]
"Right...we still need to make sure Thunderpaw's okay. Moonkit, can you check her and make sure she suffered no wounds?"

 IceStorm heard what Thunderpaw and her leader had said. FireStorm had padded over during this time. The two had listened and their claws flexed. IceStorm felt the presence of two other cats... a gray pelted cat almost like icestorms but lighter, lunerflower...mother. A dark gray colored cat, blue-purple eyes, DarkStorm...sister. She saw the two more clearly than ever now. All four cats... were flexing their claws as if preparing for battle.

[Riverfang looked over at Thunderpaw]
"Is she ok?"

[Siverstar looked back to her apprentice, who was breathing softly...faintly.]
Sighing, she said, "I'm sure she'll be fine. Moonkit will take good care of her.
It seems Thunderpaw has closer ties to StarClan than I first thought."
[Swishing her tail, Silverstar thought to herself, But if Thunderpaw's mother was able to control her, then who else can? What if those cats weren't from StarClan? Who else can see this tragedy unfolding?
Stories flooded into her mind, whispered so long ago to her by Clan members. A great journey...a different group of cats, with different ancestors...if those cats could have their own StarClan, than what other cats were there, and what other StarClans?]

((Ack! Sorry I haven't been posting recently! I've been involved with my other guild lately))
[Starpelt walked out of the den,carrying thyme in her jaws.]She set it down beside Thunderpaw and turned to Silverstar.
"When she wakes up,I'll make sure she eats it." she said."What's this about killing?"
[Then Starpelt's eyes lit up with realization.]
"Silverstar! I nearly forgot to tell you about my visit to the Moonpool.it's something urgent and could help in this situiation."
she said,looking ashamed that she almost forgot about it.
Starpelt took a deep breath and said,
"I met Snowstar and she said this;
There is a curse upon the Clans. It will ravage your lives, it could destroy you. It is called the Madness. Cats get upon eating infected prey or getting bitten by an infected animal. Prey could attack you. But the problem is, the infected cats will stop at nothing to kill, and love the taste of blood.
First comes pain, then comes anger.
It will eat away at your conscience
and you will wander astray.
Thus you will kill
everything you see
and spread the Madness on its way.
I know the Madness has already spread,but I was thinking of the Madness itself and its origins.There must be cats out there that want us to die and have put those curses upon us.Silverstar,they won't stop at nothing to destroy the clans.We need to find the main source,before it's too late for the Clans."
[Starpelt flicked her tail nevously.She didn't want to think about what kind of a cat is waiting for them to die.]

[Siverstar nodded, resting her tail on Starpelt's shoulder assuringly.]
"When Thunderpaw's mother took control of her, she said that the 'outside source' is aiming to kill leaders. And...and that they're doing it for 'revenge.'"
[Silverstar rested her emerald eyes upon Starpelt.]
"Do you remember that story of long ago, of a mountain lion our ancestors killed in the mountains on their way traveling to this area?" she whispered, eyes wide.

[Brightspirit listened to Silverstar and Starpelt, horror flashing on her face]
"Starpelt..will we be able to survive this?"
[Riverfang glanced at his mate. It was unusual for her to not be looking on the bright side of things]
"Of course we'll be able to!...Right..?"
[Many things were whirring around in his mind. The Madness, how the Clan would react when Silverstar introduced him and Brightspirit...it was too much]

[Starpelt's eyes widened too]
"You...you don't mean to say that the ones who sent the curses are related to that mountain lion? If they are,then we're going up against cats that are bigger than ourselves and are seeking revenge on their fallen!"
she cried.
"How can we compete with them? I know they aren't going to talk this out with us.Who knows what kind of curses they'll send to us until we're dead? Silverstar,Starclan doesn't even know what will happen.How could they know? One of those mountain cats has abilities that are undescribable.They have the power to send curses like the Whispering Flowers and Madness.What are we to do? Thunderpaw's mother said to divide and conquer.Maybe we have to do the exact opposite and join together and defeat them.Honestly,I don't know how we are to do that.

[Brightspirit tried to remember how to breathe. She walked over to Starpelt]
"Starpelt, I know you don't know me, or my mate, but we're here to help. Starclan specificlly told us to come to Stormclan. We're going to try to be as much of a help as we can"
[Riverfang nearly purred. There was the Brightspirit he knew and loved]
"It's true, Starpelt. Just ask Starclan"
