Alyosha walked out of the centre after holding the door again for Delta. He had no idea how she had gotten in there in the first place and wondered for a moment wether Sy had been part of this ploy and thats why Delta had petended ignorance of her mother.
Just as he thought of her he seen a whirling she-demon flailing towards him, obviously distraught. "Sy" he called out, a tone of worry in his voice. She obviously hadn't known where Delta was. "Sy!" he called again, not sure is she had heard him "Over here, I have Delta with me"

o_o Hooo boy. Her mother looked half crazed... Delta was mildly surprised she wasn't doing something like frothing at the mouth. And to come out dressed in just a long shirt... XP. Ugh. She must be reeeeeally upset... or just oblivious to the fact there were people around to see her. >_<
Syrenrei stopped in her frenzy, paused, and then pounced her daughter, hugging and squeezing and loving on her. Delta looked less than pleased, but tolerated the woman lying on the ground to try to keep her close.
And lucky Aly had a good view. After all, Sy hadn't really dressed to go looking for her missing daughter... she was only wearing underwear and a long shirt, and when she was laying on her stomach, on the ground, grabbing her daughter...

Alyosha was somewhat amused at the state of Sy. She could look beautiful at any time he decided, which any clothes (or lack thereof) on. Pretending not to notice he crouched down beside the pair, smiling. "I take it she escaped without permission?"
He looked towards the spoiled little Aerandir and shook his head. "You shouldn't run away from your mother. Afterall you'll end up all dirty and you wouldn't want that would you, Deta". he smiled at the pair, assured once again that he had made the right choice of guardian for Delta.

"Of course she did! Like I'd let her out by herself... and she's a smart one, too! She snuck out while I was fast asleep!" She tried to look scornful at Delta as she sat up with Delta in her arms, both covered in sand. This, of course, agitated Delta to no end- now she had even more sand to get out of her fur and feathers and... it was just no good. This would take hours to clean =_=
And her mother was even more of a mess. Embarassing. >_<
Sy blinked a little and tried to get some sand off her face, brushing it inadvertently on the already mussed and agitated Aerandir. "I'm so sorry, it really won't happen again." Delta chirped in agreement. Getting this dirty wasn't worth it at all.
"Do you think we could use your shower?"

He nodded. "Of course you can, you don't have to ask". He offered her his long shirt - which would cover past her knees - and then walked beside her as they headed back towards the center. "I uh, have a little something for you too" he added. "I'll give it to you once you've both relaxed a little." he smiled and gently aound an arm around her shoulder.

Sy looked at him when he handed her his shirt, at first looking confused as to why he was offering it. Upon glancing down, she turned bright red from ear to ear and covered herself up as best she could, her embarassment barely contained. As he talked of a gift and put his arm around her, Delta looked particularly proud of herself. Ha ha! She MUST have broken a super duper curse! "A...a gift?" She blinked several times, wondering what in the world she did to deserve a gift... and she really didn't need anything for Delta.... Continued here.

Keanu laughed as he raced ahead of his mother, stubby ears pinned forward as he padded around the line of houses, toward the Community Centre, though ultimately aiming for the beach. He glanced back to be sure Kami followed, squeaked as she bound up besides him, fluttering a bit. He hadn't known she could move that fast.
"Can't run off from me, little Keanu." she snickered as he made a face at the name, and ruffled his hair playfully. "Just joking. We'll get there soon enough, no need to run." she laughed as he skipped, seeing he was excited. She readjusted the beach bag on her shoulder, and followed.
"Sorry, mom. We haven't been there in...three, four days!" he said, putting an emphasis on the last few words, as if that were an unbearably long time. "And hey, I'd fly if I could." he said, smirking a little, fluttering the feathery, speckled appendages. How he missed darting about in the air, free as a bird.
"Don't worry, you'll be able to again, soon enough." she reassured, as they continued to make their way toward the beach. Kami squinted as they started to approach the center. Looked like someone ws leaving....

Ieyasu closed the door behind him as they left the centre. Osu had let go by this time, eager to try walking about by himself. And, while he was still somewhat shaky, he was doing rather well considering he hadn't had much time to practice. He was also insisting on carrying the staff, even though the end of it dragged through the dust. It was considerably taller than he was after all.
Giggling, Osu walked down the path, kicking up little clouds of dust. He could get used to this! Now, could he go any faster? Hm... He picked up his pace a little, his little legs still somewhat awkward as they moved. Whee! Yes, he could!
Ieyasu frowned a little. "Osu, careful - you're gonna-" Too late. The little one had fallen over, finding himself abruptly sitting in the dust. The kitsune hurried over to Osu, wondering if he'd hurt himself.
"Aww!" Osu exclaimed, before picking himself up again. He was fine, if a little dusty. Picking up the staff, he then stopped, noticing something further down the path. With a loud exclamation, he pointed at the two figures. Look!
Glancing up, Ieyasu lifted a hand to shade his eyes. Kami and someone else. Grinning broadly, he waved. "Look, it's Kami." He couldn't quite make out who the other one was yet.
Osu picked up on the name, recognising it from before. "Kam! Kam Kam Kam!!" he yelled, waving happily.

Kami smiled as she realized who it was. "Look Keanu, it's Ieyasu....and...Osu?" she blinked a little. So Osusuki had grown as well! She found herself walking faster as Keanu picked up his pace, knowing he would be breaking out into a run at any moment.
"Osu!!!" Keanu laughed as he dashed away, laughing as Kami tried to keep up. He reached Osu and his caretaker in a flash, but suddenly found he was a tad shy. "Hi 'Yasu!" he said, waving, before turning to Osusuki. "You're all big!" he said, delighted to his that his friend had grown. Though they hadn't seen eachother in a while, Keanu had not forgotten since the day they had met.
Kami caught up, panting softly, having to readjust the bag. Awoken, and somewhat disgruntled, Mazin stuck his little blue head out the top, and looked abut drowsily. "Hello, Ieyasu!" Kami greeted cheerfully, bowing her head.

Being able to clearly make out the little figure beside Kami, Ieyasu frowned for a moment before realising who it was. Of course. Keanu was older than Osu was, so it made sense that he would have grown up a bit too. He grinned. "Hey, look, it's Keanu too. You remember him?"
Osu stopped for a moment, turning to look up at Ieyasu thoughtfully. Then, he grinned suddenly, nodding his head vigourously. Turning on his heel, he tottered off towards the pair, eager to see Keanu again.
As Keanu spoke to Osu, the little spellweaver grinned, clasping his hands behind his back. He nodded his head. "Uh huh!" Keanu was big too! Very different from when they had met before. He was unsure of how to explain that out loud though. "Uhm.."
Ieyasu smiled at the two kids before turning to Kami. "Hey there Kami. How's things?"

"It's been good!" she said, watching the two Aerandir children as well. "They're growing so fast. And how about you?" she asked, admiring the cute little fox boy. She gently pressed Mazin back down into the ag, or tried at least. The little lizard only hung halfway out in response.
Keanu giggled a little, looking back up at Kami through excited eyes. "We're goin' to the beach!" he said happily, starting to get an idea. "Can you come, too?" he asked, wings aquiver. What fun it would be to have someone to play with on the sand. They might even be able to go swimming, or at least that's what kami had said. He turned a pleading eye to Ieyasu, hoping for a yes.

Ieyasu smiled, nodding. "No kidding. It doesn't seem like long at all. And great, thanks." Catching sight of the tiny little dragon, Ieyasu eyed it for a moment before looking back to the two Aerandir.
Osu nodded his head vigorously, heading back over to Ieyasu. Tugging at his guardian's shorts, he gazed up at the kitsune. "Go beech?" he enquired.
Ieyasu glanced down and grinned. "As long as Kami doesn't mind us coming along."

"Of course, it's everyone's beach." she chuckled, and lifted Mazin up, tucking him under her other arm. "I've packed some food, too, there should be plenty." she nodded, and chuckled as Keanu celebrated.
"Yaay!" Keanu laughed, and flapped his little wings, running off a few steps before looking back, unaware that Osu was just only getting used to walking. He couldn't wait to get to the beach, it was such a nice place to be. And learning to swim sounded fun as well.

"Yay! Beech!" Osu toddled off after Keanu, trying to catch up with the older Aerandir. He tried to move a little too fast for his legs to keep up, though, and he stumbled, falling forward. Instinctively, he brought out his hands to catch himself. Sitting up, his face dropped. He couldn't keep up and his knee hurt now.
"Whoops." Ieyasu quickened his pace, hurrying over to the prone Osu. He could sense waterworks about to start. Crouching down, he smiled reassuringly at the child. "Hey now, it's ok. See, there's nothing there."
His face trembling slightly, Osu looked down at his knee. There was a bit of dirt there... but that was it. It had been more the fright of falling so abruptly than actual pain. It was hard to walk fast...
Grinning, Ieyasu scooped Osu up, placing him on his shoulders. "Tell you what, kid. You hang on up there, and then you can see lots of stuff from high up."
His pain forgotten, Osu clutched at Ieyasu's hair, staring around. He could see better from up here. Then Ieyasu moved. Woah! Flapping his little wings uselessly, Osu giggled suddenly. This was fun! After a moment, he dared to let go with one hand, waving at Keanu down below. He'd just need to practice walking so that he could be as good as Keanu!

Keanu blinked a little, looking back only in time to see Osu being lifted up onto his caretakers shoulders, laughing a little as it happened, and returning the wave as Osu did. Yes, he had had a good deal of time to work on it, and he could remember how wobbly he had been when he had just grown.
Kami chuckled as she got a hopeful look from Keanu, and hefted the bag again. "Not today, kiddo, I already have enough to carry. Maybe after we get there." she said, smiling as he darted off ahead again.
