Kat nodded, "Let me know if you find Sam and Daryl, and good luck to you." She slipped out the door, giving a fleeting wave as she started walking towards the condo.

Omar hopped out of the van and followed Kat into the Condo. "Can't the Keepers track all of you coming here?"

Renae was working the street of Washbourne with a crew of four. Her shoulder wound was still bandaged, but the healing process had been sped up by a fairly useful meta back at base, leaving her once again capable to head out on patrol.
Miguel, a new boy, was up ahead in the crowd, breathing through his mouth so he could taste the air around him. Renae didn't quite get his power, but he was generally hella useful, if not somewhat creepy at times. He caught her watching, and gave her his boyish smile, one that was too sharp at the edges and sent a small chill down her spine. Still creepy, but she smiled back.
The device in her pocket interrupted the moment with a quiet buzz. She pulled it out to read the update, and raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"Something changed?" A smooth voice asked from behind.
Renae scowled, "We're being called back. Linc sent out word, he wants us all off the street."
"And the hunt?" Miguel asked, seemingly disappointed.
"We're off the trail for now. Something else is coming up, it seems. Go sneak up on the others and tell them to head home." Renae let out a slight sigh, and turned around.

Sam gave Daryl directions back to Marcus' place, without getting them too lost.

Daryl parked the car a few blocks away, and made for the penthouse nonchalantly, hands shoved in his pockets.
"Alright. I'll buy the supernatural thing. What are the powers you've seen? What can I expect when I walk into that room?"

"Mister Matrix now, huh?" Rook waited for her to get cozy, before they pulled out, "Lucky winner is us, we get to hit up the apartments and houses by the business district. Marcus told me it ain't the best, so non-powered, non-lethal defense might be needed. Apparently that's where this town's rapes, murders and burglaries go down. Fun times."

We'll need more than just me to sit there and shape-shift into their wildest wet dream to make these kids accept the fact that they're now fugitives from a shadow organization that has their sights set on killing or enslaving them," He replied, turning to Olivia, "You've got lots of rings and a mean pair of boots. Go for the eyes, never kick in the stones, and fingernails to the throat. You oughta be good, without me having to train you better."

Oh buddy, you've never tried walking with me through most public places," she twisted a ring on her finger idly, "Trying to maintain a dull attitude doesn't make you the most 'inviting' person, but-" she stretched a little, not too much as to not take up all the foot room, "-I DO have some pretty kick-a** boots."
