Ah, We mainly have pidgeons and robins. The robins didn't fair so well, and they aren't as trusting, but the pidgeons like me. They let me pick them up sometimes, but I usually give them to the animal shelter when they do. There was this gold finch we almost ran over, huddling in a crack in our driveway because it got rained down. It got better though. It flew onto my shoulder~
I'm jealous of birds, but in a good way.

Awww, that's a nice story. I remember one time I found a little baby robin in the bushes outside once. It was just chirping away, couldn't fly. We fed it and kept it in a little box outside. There was something wrong with one of its eyes though. We took care of it, but eventually it died. Needless to say, I was effectively heartbroken since I was the one who fed it all the time.
Also have a neighbor who used to have a pet parakeet. It was a silly bird. It knew this one song it would keep whistling.

I had the same issue, but with a juvenile robin... It couldn't fly either and ended up dying over the night, 'cause we couldn't get it to a hospital in time.. I'm still not sure what was wrong with it...
It would look up at me and chirp after awhile, too. I was devistated...
That was the only one, though. All the other birds pulled through. I wish I could have kept that finch, but it belongs in the wild. My mom won't let me have any birds anyways...

She claims that they are "messy."

Yeah, household birds really aren't that messy since many times they'll be clean unless they're in their cage. Those can get messy. The only worry would be maybe shed down feathers, and those can easily be swept of vacuumed.

That's what I would figure. I'm not overly fond of the vacuum though... I can deal with it, it's just very loud...
She always said that they would spill things out of their cage, but honestly, if the cage sits on a table, just spread some newspaper under it and it should be fine...

I have all wood and tile floor, so I just sweep. I prefer the old-style feel of sweeping. It's relaxing to me as well.
Yeah, just put some newspaper there, and nothing should spill out as long as the cage doesn't fall, and that's as simple as keeping it somewhere steady.

My desk would probably work.. I would just have to move my plushies and some other things. But I would have to think about it more later, after I'm confient enough to move out or such...

Me? No... I was crushed when she came through here with that Shrine Maiden.. Her strength is envy-worthy, but she's older, too... You would have a better chance against her, given that you can keep her speed down.

I can keep her down in speed, but she has a field advantage over me. If I'm out too much at night, Reimu begins to suspect me of trouble, and attacks me.
