Far stared at them. "Why can't we kill her?" He knew at once this was a mistake and slithered over to Tida's skiff. "Dear Raedou, I do think you're quite senile. This," he climbed up and down the contraption, "will not fit in our jolly little ride."

Raedou thought for a bit and nodded his head.
"I do agree with you on one of those things..." he said, "But I am not senile. If it won't fit, then let's just hook it to the caravan with some rope or something."
-----
Perrault beamed.
"Raedou, you have some Ganzian Wrapcoil in your pack!" he said happily, "We can hook it up with that!"

((Well, isn't Perrault just a little bottle of sunshine! *grumble* That must be because he's an elf....))
Helena shrugged. "It's... possible," she admitted, though in all actuality the Ganzi were separate from the humans, and had no reason themselves to help one single nation with its problems. They owed humanity no favors.
Unless the author of the role play had not been informed of that, of course.
~
"Calm yourselves," Dakon interrupted. "There will be no deaths without fair trial, I am sure, and besides that - what all are you guilty of? A misdemeanor? Much of the royal palace is open to the public... much of the non-private areas, of course...."
~
Ephlas shook his head. "Too far away," he said, pointing in the general southeastern direction. "We can't possibly miss it, once we get close; I'll be able to sense its presence. We head southeast, and we'll come at some point close enough to the city's aura so it can be felt and detected."

"Well..." Diine said, wiping running nasal fluid off of his nose, "We kinda... broke... the kitchen window... Well, she did! She's the Hunter Mage, I just followed her!"

Hashmal looked over the skiff, "This design is nothing like the sandboats of the Draons... The builders were brilliant... I guess I respect humans a little bit more... but only a little bit..."
---
"Then let uss depart... the Horde can find still targetss eassier than moving oness..." Ne'galash replied.
"He's right... let's get moving." Clem said gravely.

Ephlas gave Clem a certain look. "You're in control of the beetle," he replied after a moment. Ephlas was sitting on the beetle, behind Clem, who had never removed himself from said beetle in the first place.

"Well, then, I guess I'll just have you beheaded right now..." Valthere said in a mock-evil tone. He didn't mean it, of course... his windows were easily replaceable.

((Hey, if Tanessa, Cedric and Irwin could somehow wind up in a forest and meet my new character Dasher sometime, I would really appreciate it. Gotta go.))

((Nearest forest is Eopia. Don't see why they'd go there, but it might work.
Okay, so I just lied. It could turn out that the elves possess the magic necessary to help Cedric gain control over his powers, possibly. They could deal deeply with the psychological aspect of magic, which they can do much more efficiently than humans because they have a slightly more developed sense of reasoning and logic. Or they could be sight-seeing. XD ^_^))

Well, Tanessa followed Cedric wherever he went. Hell itself wouldn't prevent her from doing so.

Leonard stopped, but Cedric was floated into a round chamber with a blue glow. the door closed in a spiral pattern. It was an Arcane containment room.
"I apologize, but I must call my contacts in Ylos. If we are to correct his imbalance, they will be the ones to do so." Leonard stated.

((Call. Huh.))
Tanessa simply pressed herself up against the door, refusing to leave it. To Leonard, she turned her head and said, "His name is Cedric of House Talverone. He is the only heir, and they are all dead thanks to Baelta. You can thank Baelta for his unbalance."

"House Talverone? that was a prestigious group of Magi... Their contributions to the study of magic will be missed..." Leonard sighed, shaking his head, "There are chambers to relax in downstairs, or you can stay in the containment lobby. I will be down the hall in the scrying room, speaking with Ylos, should you need me."

Tanessa did not reply, only staring at the door, trying somehow to allow herself to see through it. Invisibility--of herself or of other objects--was not among her many talents, however.
Most magi would likely refer to Tanessa as a 'girl of parlour tricks,' the description being quite accurate. Tanessa could play with fire and was adept at bright flashes of light, but when it came to any practical applications, other than starting a fire, she was near useless.
She did not mind.
