"Sparring matches." Piper repeated quietly and thought as she finished off another bite of eggs. "Well I don't think the match will be too long for myself, but I'll try my best." She said simply.

Kain stood up and washed his plate off, The food had been just as it smelled deliscious. Walking around a bit he saw Anslia and a new girl, He waved to them and then darted up to his room. Grabbing his daggers he strapped them into his belt and walked slowly back downstairs. 'Sparring matches should be fun, i think that i can take Shtona' he thought as he entered the common and waited to be directed for sparring.

"That's all i'm going to ask of you..." he replied, finishing his breakfast. He stood and put his plate away in the dishwasher, then sat back at the table to drink some more orange juice. He finished the glass and put it away in the dishwasher as well. "Whenever you two are ready just go ahead and head out back, i think you'll be able to find me." He stepped out of the kitchen and saw Kain waiting for him. "You ready?" he asked.

"Yes sir, I just think the others may want to challenge you first." Kain looked around, He would rather face The headmaster after he was warmed up a bit, at his best.

Piper picked up her napkin and wiped off the corners of her mouth as she finished what little was left on her plate and a final gulp of tea. "Kay, farewell." she waved as Kain and the Shtona left the kitchen. she scraped off what was left on her plate and rinsed them off in the sink, allowing them to dry on a silver dish rack next to the sink. She never liked dishwashers you never knew how clean the dishes would actually be. She gave another small bow Anslia who remained in the room, "It was a pleasure meeting, perhaps we'll cross paths again later today." She said kindly and headed out of the kitchen and back down the stairs to fetch her belongings. She had nearly forgotten that she had left her trunks at the base of the stairwell, but as she ran her hands over the luggage everything seemed to be together. She remembered counting the stairs on the way down and would be quite a feat to pull the trolley up each one. She could sense anyone nearby so reaching into the top trunk she pulled out what looked like and old cigar box and from inside that produced a small piece of chalk which had been worn down to about 1 inch or so long. She felt around for the botom step and as soon as she found the smooth surface she etched the one thing that came as natural as breathing to her and and place both hands down upon the chalk lines there was a bit of a crack and creak as it twisted to meet her needs but she didn't moved from her spot until she felt it shift from teiring stairs to gentle incline.
Before she stood up she took her shirt sleeve and wiped the chalk residue from the stairwell. She walked back around to her trolley and pushed it up the former stairwell until she reached a floor of dormotories. Letting her luggage sit once more, she changed the ramp back to it former stairwell self, wiped away the chalk and carried on to find an open room.
She ended up taking the one at the end of the hall and began to unpack before anything suprisingly there were very few clothes, enough for about one week and they'd have to be washed constantly to meet that quota. Instead her two trunks were filled with books and papers, some beakers, flask, and closed off containers, like her own mini chem lab. All the books were of course in brail although she had grasped the concept of reading normal books but it was quite difficult brail just made everything easier, and finding alchemic books in brail is harder than you think, she hoped that maybe a library here would have brail, if not she'd just get more practice in reading the ink. Once she had fully unpacked she stood up grabbing a pen, some blank paper and some of her brail books before returning to the common room. She found herself a lone chair next to the coffee table and started to run her fingers across the page so that she could devise a stratedgy or two for the up coming matches later on that day.

Kain grew inpatient as they were still waiting on Anslia and Iris. Twirling his blade about he snapped his fingers, each time a small burst of flame appeared above them. He had mastered this little parlour trick to amuse the children of the village he lived in. They had idolized him and since he was the only one to keep them out of trouble, it had helped to capture her attention. Looking up he saw someone he hadn't met before come in and run her hand across her books. "Hello, i don't believe we've met,I am Kain, May i ask your name?" He called out to her.

Piper looked up from the brail and put down the pen that she had been writing notes with in her other hands as someone had spoken out. She glanced around trying to trace it until her eyes starred blankly at the one who had been talking. She thought for a moment and recalled the voice slightly, "You were at breakfast.." she said simply. "I was a little hurried this morning, so I'm sorry that I haven't formally introduced myself to everyone yet. My name is Piper Terrly and I've chosen to enroll here, for the time being." She said politely and continued to turn the pages of the book as her right hand told her the meaning.

By the time Iris had woken up, she realized it was already late in the morning. She shook her head absentmindedly, as if trying to wake herself up some more.
After washing her face and brushing her hair, she wandered through the halls until she found Kain with a girl she had not seen before.
"Ah... good morning?" she asked.

Piper listened as another voice entered the room and gave the same greeting smile as she always did, "Morning." She racked her brain for the voice but could not recall it. "Sorry if I confused you I got here later than I expected." She held out a hand to shake. "My name's Piper Terryl, pleasure to meet you." she beamed. and then thought about how many times she had said her name this morning alone, she hoped she wasn't sounding obnoxious to anyone and quietly appologized in her head just in case.

Iris smiled back. "Oh hello, I'm Iris. Are you a student here too?" She asked warmly as she took Piper's hand and gave it a small squeeze.
She looked around and noticed that Piper had been reading a book. "Ah, what are you reading?" she asked earnestly.

"Oh yes, I was suppose to have been here yesterday unfortunately I missed my train, so I was slightly postponed." She placed a marker in her book and looked down at the cover that was relatively blank. "I'm just brushing back up on some fundamentals of stratedgies. With the sparring matches coming up later in the day, well I'm just not to good with offensive alchemy so if I have a good stratedgy it might help just a bit." she said keeping her hand rested on the cover as she spoke.

"Morning Iris," said Kain thought about the new girl named Piper. She was looking for strategies eh, smart move. Kain stood and twirled his dagger hoping that Anslia would arrive soon adn Shtona would start sparring.

Iris winced inwardly at the mention of sparring. "Oh yes... sparring," she repeated. She gave Kain a smile and went deep into thought as she sat down in a nearby chair.
She wasn't very good at sparring... she was not looking forward to this. She started to rack her brain for anything to help her in this affair.

Piper was going to offer Iris to help herself to any of her books she had brought downstairs with her, but then stopped when she realized that she probably wouldn't be able to read any of them. She looked back down at her book and continued to take notes inking each letter heavily so she could the form of the ink later. She figured everyone else was better prepared than herself but she could feel a bit of tension in the air. Pass or fail they'd still move on with their lessons but she could understand that first impressions as this would be were greatly important. She closed her book and set it aside, opened the next, reviewing simple but affective manipulations of various materials, as well as reviewing the basic periodic table.
