((Okay. 3nodding ))
The pokeball sat on the ground in front of Torchic, wiggling around for a moment. It finally stopped, and Cat let out a sigh of relief. She almost choked on that breath, however, when the pokeball sprang open and the Oddish hopped back out.
"Hey! Torchic, scratch it again!!" she commanded hurriedly, as the grass pokemon looked like it wanted to run away.
"Torchic!" she twittered in triumph as she managed to scratch the Oddish again after tripping it.
"You didn't have to trip it..." Cat muttered, throwing another pokeball.
The red and white sphere wiggled around on the ground for a moment, until finally...it froze. And stayed closed.
"WOO!! I CAUGHT AN ODDISH!!" the young trainer cheered, doing some sort of strange victory dance. Torchic was doing her own version of the dance, chirping happily. Cat went over and picked up her Torchic and the pokeball, still smiling triumphantly.

After wandering around aimlessly for what felt like forever, but in actual time was around ten minutes, Nina discovered a large building, reading GYM on it. "...I have never seen a Kanto gym before..." She turned her gaze to Misdreavus. "Perhaps if you were a bit stronger we could fight. But for now, let us ask for directions." Misdreavus nodded in agreement. Nina approached the large doors, and reached her hand to open it.
However, the door refused to open. "...Just my luck," Nina muttered to herself. "Come, Misdreavus... we shall seek help elsewhere."

Ken walked around seeing no new trainers. He was headed back, but froze with a thought. Maybe the gym leader is back now. He changed direction and spotted the gym. As he got closer he spotted a girl and her Misdreavus, One Pokemon from the Johto region he knew. "Hey, are you going to challenge the leader?" Ken asked.

Nina heard someone yelling to her, so she turned her head in the direction of the voice. She spotted what she presumed to be another trainer, and approached him.
"Oh... no... See, I've come to Kanto looking for someone, but I'm lost... I was going to ask for directions from the gym leader." Misdreavus telepathically asked Nina, Who is this person? I don't know, Nina replied. Maybe he can help us?
My... name is Nina. Who are you?

"Looking for someone?" Ken asked, but deicded to drop the subject after being asked another question.
"Me? I'm Ken and this is my Pidgy," he replied pointing to the small bird like creature.

"I got an Oddish, I got an Oddish, WOO!" Cat sang, then released her new pokemon. The grass pokemon looked at her for a moment, then waddled over to her foot.
"Oood." he squeaked, kicking her foot.
"Hey! You can't kick me. I'm your trainer." Cat stooped down to look at the Oddish. "Why don't you like me...?"
"Oodish, odd-odd-oddish. Dish-ooood."
"If you're hungry, you should've told me." she muttered, digging through her backpack again. "Oh dear. Um...we're going to have to head to the next town, little guy."

"I see. Hello, Ken. And hello, Pidgey..." Nina and Misdreavus averted their gaze to meet the Pidgey's. Its head was tilted slightly and a moment later, it cooed. What's it saying? she asked Misdreavus.
Misdreavus made a type of echoing sound to the Pidgey, who cooed a little more. It says it's hungry.
"By the way, Ken... Your Pidgey is hungry."

"Hey, nice to meet you and your Misdreavus too." Ken said. He turned his head to see his Pidgy. "Sorry buddy. I'm hungry too, but until we can find someone who know where a Pokemon Center or somewhere else to eat we're going to have to wait."After a short pause Ken abruptly replied, "Hey, wait a minute. How did you know that my Pidgy's hungry?"

Nina thought for a moment of what to say.
"Oh... well, it just has a hungry expression on its face. Misdreavus looks pathetic when she gets hungry, so... I had just assumed..."

"Oh, I guess that makes sense then." Truth be told is that Ken had been think of Mitsu and that boy while walking around he forgot about his Pidgy for a bit. "So do you know where a Pokemon Center is? Or any other places in this town?"

Kasiya, refreshed from a quick nap on the train, looked around Pallet Town, feeling sligtly confused. The letter had asked her to find Professor Oak's Labratory, but she had no idea where it could be. This town was much smaller than Vermilion, she noted. Probably too small to even have its own gym. Aimlessly, she wandered for several hours, looking around for someone who may be able to help her.
