Looking at the paper Garreth had been writing on Horatus wondered what was next on the list of things to do before he could leave. "I can't believe I agreed to stay for orientaion," Horatus thought begrudgingly. "Maybe Garreth will get the policy changes out of the way next so I can go to my room." Luna, Namen, and Dorothy were still standing with acceptable posture. As well as Tenma even though he had just introduced himself and wouldn't have had time to slouch yet. Varnis on the other had was even leaning against the wall, totaly unacceptable, and Horatus would make sure the intire group knew whos fault it was they were going to learn how to line up the next day.

Garreth nodded. He'd written down every etiquette problem he'd seen, every tardy, every absence, every weapon. "I'll write out copies of these and have them on your desk by tomorrow, as usual?" he asked. "I'll go over the policy changes quickly and then hand out their dorm assignments if you wish to retire to your quarters.... but I do have something I'd like to discuss with you this evening after dinner...."

Varnis had stood up all the way, and looked out towards Harotus, he takes a deep breath and says, "H-Harotus, If I may say so... Well, why do you treat us like we are supposed to know what we are to do on the first day? W-we j-just got here... an-d some of us... never where taught how to properly in-introduce ourselves. A-and I know f-for a fac-t that I-I-I was never able to introduce my self, because of the lack of people form where I was from. I know I am speaking out of line, but I would at least of had been able to say that."
Varnis had stood there in the line, waiting for Harotus to yell at him. Raiden had climbed down into Varnis' arms. Varnis had stood there, and waited for the punishment.

Looking at his future students he sees that only two have the potential to be leaders within the group. Then looking at Garreth he asks, "Garreth am I still needed?"

Horatus stopped in front of Varnis before going to his room, a small smile playing accross his lips. "I'm glad you asked," Horatus said, "though I wish you had asked with more confidence behind what you said. I treat you like you are supposed to know what to do because that is exactly what an opponent would expect from you and you are already in training to become a warrior. Yes you are out of line but you will learn that as well because I will tell you know, and the others as they should be listening. You are not forbidden from speaking here but you must ask permission to speak and receive permission first." Turning back to Garreth he continued,"Thank you, Garreth. Very efficient, my way to do things. If that's what you're up to I shall talk to you after dinner." Not wanting to stay around the students any more for the moment Garteth quickly marched down the hall and out a side door to the other building where the Heads' rooms were located. "Children,"thougth Horatus as he walked. "Every year they seem to get worse. With an exception of the first two girls this group seems to be the worst that have come through here yet, terrible. They'll be whipped into shape before they leave here though, if it's the last thing I do."

Garreth frowned. He frowned at Varnis's question toward Horatus, and frowned also at Akakage's question. He nodded his approval of Akakage leaving and handed the red-head a paper from the stack he held. "You're teaching Geometry and Biology this term. I want these students to be well versed in their shapes and anatomies, got it?"

Varnis was surprised that he wasnt hit or yelled at for speaking out of line. He was prepared for the worst possible punishment, but all he had was a little talk from him. Varnis had just stood there, "Sorry." Is all that he could say, and he had bowed his head.
Raiden had climbed back on top of his shoulders, watching Harotus walk away, just glaring at him. Once Harotus had walked away, Raiden stopped acting up. Raiden didn't like Harotus, and nether did Varnis.

Luna watched her teachers convers with each other and the students. She was almost embarrissed to be a part of this group they were so untrained. Coming into the school Luna had been under the impression you had to show amazing talent before even entering the school, apparently that wasn't how things worked. Patiently she waited for Horatus to be completely gone before she took a step forward and away from the group so she could stretch her wings to their complete and impressive eight foot span of solid black feathers.

"Of course, it looks like I'll actually have to do some work for once." smirking underneath his scarf. He left without any indication of his presence there. Within the confides in his room he looked at the two subjects he would be teaching this year. "Hey, Teme! Looks like I'm teaching them biology and geometry."
Teme answered, "Well I don't think you should teach biology."
"Why shouldn't I teach it?"
Smirking the fox replied, "Well you haven't see women genitalia for years!"
"You little..." Sighing Akakage just stopped the useless arguing. "I'll have to get ready for my classes then." With that he did his preparations.

"Permission to speak Garreth Sir?" Luna said, her voice the same quality as earlier just to prove she hadn't been trying to impress Horatus. The other students were prone to think she was sucking up but really it was just her training when the punishment had been death instead of a talking to. Any mistake bigger than the movement of a toe without permission was punishable by death and often was because the trainers didn't want assassins that were any less than perfect. One of the reasons Luna had run away from being an assassin was because she had grown better than the rest so the trainers were kill people for not standing up to the level Luna had set, even though she was better than the trainers themselves in some aspects.

((Uhhh... Aren't we supposed to get dorm rooms assigned?))
Varnis had relaxed a little bit more, fooling with his Katana, trying to get it repositioned, then walking a few feet away from the wall, he had stretched some, and let Raiden fly around for a little bit. Varnis had watched Raiden, fly around, and do tricks in the air.

After finishing his preparations he went back to where the students were. He watched already as some students left already. What caught his attention was Luna's impressive display of her pitch black wings. He also saw the young samurai Varnis and his wyvern Raiden looking a little more relax the previously. "Too bad this will probably be the only relaxing time they'll have in a while."
