Rachel's words made his happiness grow even further. The affirmation that his creature he had made was truly as wonderful as he believed made his stomach feel and fluttery and warm. Raleigh smiled at Rachel and nodded, it was nice not to feel suspicious around someone. This girl wasn't bad. He watched her for a moment, wondering what it was that gave her that blissful smile.
"Oh, didn't you hear?" Ruriska was surprised the woman didn't know about the incident. She had expected everyone to. "Raleigh was the one that completely totalled the agency a month or so ago. During his pick up he turned the place into a war zone, nearly got me and Charles killed in the process." She readjusted her sunglasses with a press of a finger, watching Susan closely as knelt down beside the kids. "Poor mite was terrified." Even as she spoke she was sidling closer. "Don't worry, while Raleigh is happy or at least calm it wont do anything dangerous... I hope." Ruriska wasn't too worried.
Raleigh wasn't happy about this interruption into their private conversation. He was instantly on guard. Chin thrust out he glared at Susan defiantly. "His name is Yasuo." He began in a harsh voice. "And you are not allowed to touch him." The dog, who had turned its head to watch Susan's approach, now looked to Raleigh. The boy put his hand on the dog's chest. "Stay put Yasuo. Everything is fine."

Susan kept on smiling. Very hostile these children were, she used to be to, so she could relate somewhat.
"Peaceful, eh?" she chuckled. "We have been informed of what your creatures can do and I wouldn't exactly call it peaceful." She shook her head and laughed. "Wow, wrecking the headquarters like that. It was absolutely impressive." she was still chuckling. "Charles had a fit about it, that he did. He wasn't as mad about the headquarters as he was mad about the way they had made you feel." she gave Raleigh a look. "And don't worry, I'm not going to touch your dog. After all, you are its creator."
She looked at Rachel. "No need for you to be afraid of me, I am only a few years older than yourselves." She looked grim for a moment before smiling again. Although this time, rather forced.

Malcolm began talking to Thomas like he had known him all his life, when in reality he had just met the guy, "Nothin' really...everybody is busy with someone else and left me by myself. So I came over here!" He wondered what to talk about with Thomas...there really wasn't much to say, so he fell back on the generalized question around here. "What's your power?"

Thomas grinned at the boy. "All alone, eh? Well, good thing you came to me then, since I've only got Charles here to keep me company and that tends to get boring sometimes. He chuckled and gave the boy a wink.
"Ah, I was wondering when that question would pop up. Guess that would be one of the most popular ones around here, eh? Anyway, it's easier if I showed you." Thomas raised one hand and held it in between Malcolm and himself. His eyes strayed from Malcolm's face to his hand. He slightly frowned as he concentrated his power.
And very slowly and very softly, a blue glow was emitting from his hand, gathering and shaping itself into a very small blue orb. Thomas looked back at Malcolm and smiled at him. "In battle situations this usually goes a lot faster, but then I don't need to focus." He chuckled. "I don't want to blow up this place, again."
He raised his arm and threw the orb up into the air where it exploded and dispersed, littering the sky with blue glowing specks for a moment.
"Well now, what can you do?" Thomas looked curiously at the young boy in front of him.

Malcolm watched in excitement as the blue orb grew in Thomas's hand, then burst and sent sparks into the air, looking like a small fireworks show.
"Cool! Well...I'm not really sure yet, but...I guess I can control insects." He pointed a finger in the air, wondering where Dion had flown off to. He thought about the wasp, closed his eyes, and pictured him in his head. The mental link was there, he could feel it, and he tried to ask Dion to come back.
Malcolm opened his eyes, breaking the connection, and was elated to see that it had worked, and the bee was buzzing in front of his eyes. "Like that!" he said, "but I haven't really tried to do different bugs, just Dion and other bees. And horseflies, too. The other ones just kind of...find their way to me. I don't know how to make them go away yet." He shuffled his feet, moving his gaze towards the other kids, who all seemed to have a grip on their powers, but Malcolm still didn't really have a clue on what he could or could not do.

"You mean like beat it up?"
Lorina blinked, looking from the boy to the dog, and back again, before a smile appeared on her face. She started giggling, and she nodded her head.
"Sounds like fun!"
Pulling herself to her knees, she shook slightly with excitment. Her green eyes shone, and she nodded her head again, looking over the area.
"So... How sould we start? We may have to bring the dog over here... But I don't know how we'd do that. And then mess with it quickly... Although that lady by them doesn't seem good..."

"No. We could never do such a horrible thing." Erol said in mock horror. "We must play with it. After all it is a dog so it must like to be pet." Erol smirked liking the deviousness of this girl. At first sight he thought she would be some uptight daddy's girl but it was refreshing to see she didn't mind getting into a bit of trouble. He'd do well to keep her on his list of 'partners in crime'.
Smiling he stood to his feet. "Name's Erol." he said then eyed the creature onces more before returning his attention to Lorina. "Before we get our hands dirty it might be a good idea to exchange abilities...and since I'm on the subject. I deal with shockwaves. What's your power?"

"I'm Lorina, and I can size shift."
Lorina seemed very proud of her power, as she got to her feet, and sticking out her hand.
"Playing with it sounds exciting."
She hadn't expected the cute little boy to be so mean(in a good way), but not everyone was how they looked, as Airaka had showed her. Smiling widley, she cast her glance over at the bench dog, wondering what they could do with their powers.
"If we "accidently" strike the dog with your shock waves, it may come over..."

Thomas noted the sudden change in Malcolm's feelings and put his hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, it took me a few years to get the hang of it. Nobody expects you to know everything there is to know so soon."
"Hmm, insect control..." he rubbed his chin and thought for a moment. "Interesting, especially very convenient in the summer. The possibilities are just endless."
He smiled as watched Dion buzz around Malcolm. "So you have complete control? You can make him do whatever you want?"

"Sounds good to me...but we gotta be more subtle. I wonder..." Erol began to think, as rubbed his hands together the friction between them warmed him up. "You can size shift. That might be what we need, think you can change your size and scream loud. If you make yourself small enough the noise you make will be loud enough just for the dog to hear. He may come over to sniff you out. Don't worry I'll stay in front of you so you can get big again, k?" Course he wasn't sure what she could do, he'd only read in a book that dogs have sensetive ears and could hear things on a level that humans couldn't. This dog may be some creation but it couldn't hurt to try.

Malcolm thought about Thomas's question for a moment. He could control Dion, in a way, but...it was more complicated than that. "When he first started following me around, he kinda..did whatever he wanted to. But then I could think about what I wanted him to do, and he did it. I don't know how it works, but it does. And he still has a mind of his own..." -- "...but it's like he's linked to me in some way."
It was all very confusing, and once the words were out of Malcolm's mouth he realized that they probably made absolutely no sense to Thomas.
On a totally random note, Malcolm could feel his stomach rumbling. He hadn't had much for breakfast; he was too excited to eat. "I'm hungry; what time is it?" He asked Charles, who was standing next to Thomas. If anybody had a watch, it would probably be him.

"Erm... Okay... It's worth a try, I guess."
Lorina wiggled a bit, wondering if she could actually shrink to the size he wanted, and not accidently enlarge. She knew she could scream, really loud at that, but she couldn't know if she could use her powers. After casting a glance at Airaka, who seemed occupied in her own little world, Lorina sat down on the ground, and concentrated on shrinking, her eyes were screwed shut, and her fists clenched. When her first attempt failed, she blused up at Erol, feeling troughly embarressed and upset that she had failed. Then her green eyes glowed slightly and she started shrinking, although she was surprised, she urged her powers more, and stopped when she thought she was at the height she thought Erol wanted. She waited, slightly impatiently, for confirmation from Erol.

Erol could understand her embarassment as she looked up at him. He smiled reassuringly making sure no one noticed. As he watched her slowly shrink he stared dumbfounded at seeing her powers in action. "Impressive." He breathed not sure if she heard or not. Making a note of where she was he kneeled down to speak.
"Alright, now scream as loud as you can... I don't know if that thing will hear you but I'm making a very wild guess here. If nothing happens then invision yourself at your normal height and you should return." He shrugged not at all educated in that area but figuring it was more common sense then anything. He waited for her to her thing as he stood protectively over her incase the dog came sniffing for her or anyone else came walking by, no need for accidents.
(Not sure how small she is. Though she could be the size of a coke can or something like that. Improvise.)

Megan was up in the orginal tree Erol had been staring at her from. She'd heard Thomas' orb blow up and had swirved around in time to see the last of it disappearing, and then had practically run to the tree the rest of the way. She climbed up to a place where she felt she was good and hidden, but could still see what was going on. And she didn't like a bit of it. The supers looked to her like they were ganging up around the kids, and half the kids were doing all this weird stuff, or encourging it. She sat tensed in the tree.
The conversation between Akila and AriyaLauna had gone flat really quickly, though they'd stayed near one another. Upon seeing Megan's flight up the three, AriyaLauna nodded a good-bye to Akila and went over that way, "Megan sweetie? Are you ok?"
"I wanna go home."
AriyaLauna sighed and nodded, "Me too." and then she did something that astonished Megan to no end, she pulled her skirts around her well enough to be able to get into the tree and jumped up. She had to fight twigs that kept catching on the skirt, but after a bit she was up near Megan, "If I stay really quiet, can I hide up here with you?"
There were several seconds of surprised silence and stares, and then Megan looked away back to the kids. She wanted to curl up and close her eyes and pretend like none of this was happening, but at the same time she somehow felt she'd been in danger if she didn't know. And, admittedly, she too was curious.
AriyaLauna took Megan's silence to be a type of acceptance, and so pulled herself in a comfortable position and also watched curiously. It sure would be an interesting day.
OOC: Not looking for a response at all. As a matter of fact, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they were hidden up there until it was time for training and people began missing them. Of course, if someone WANTS to bother them, that would be fine too. Since I was being quiet, I just wanted to get them both out of the way and let everyone know what happened. ^-^

Akila nodded her acknowledgement of Ariyana's departure smiling solemnly. After watching the woman leave she turned to look for Erol finding him knelt down in the grass. Cocking her head to the side curiously she had to wonder what he was doing. But when he stood back up she figured he was investigating something in the grass. Shrugging she looked around for a place to sit choose a bench that hadn't been turned into a monstrous creature. As she sat, she took the time to watch Erol closely. His actions were strange and his attention was on that dog creature standing over Raleigh. Arching a brow she kept her attention posted for now no need to jump the gun but if she knew Erol he was up to something.
