"Uhm..." Her gaze darted toward the sand and she leaned against him. "Nothing." An arm slid around his waist.

"The.. umm attraction?" Corbin whispered as he looked down at Oceanid, feeling her body against his. He was confused more now than anything about this certain feeling he has tugging at his so-called heart.

"Oh.." Corbin said as he blinks, then looks down at Oceanid and sigh deeply. It was vastly confusing for him, alas, so is everything else that he haven't experienced yet in his life. For now, this was more than enough for him. He reached out and turned both sticks that contains the fish, around for the other side to cook thoroughly as well.

Oceanid looked up at Corbin, slightly confused by his attitude. "You okay?"

Oceanid nodded softly, though she was still a little worried about her crush-friend. "I am." She gave him a little nudge in the side. "Smile, please?"

"Ok," Corbin said a bit reluctantly, then gave a slight smile for Oceanid before he pulled out stick number one and blows on it before he peeled the skin off. He then pulled a bit of the white meat off the bone and tries it. "Its done," he pronounced and moves the stick over to Oceanid. "Try?" he asked, then gave a reassuring smile for her benefit.

Oceanid sniffed the offered fish and pulled a small chunk from the bones carefully then popped it into her mouth. She was suprised to find that it actually tasted good, though it was quite different from the raw fish she was used to. "Good." She swallowed the bit of fish and smiled up at him.

Oceanid slowly nibbled on a bit more fish, awkwardly swallowing a little at a time as it felt odd going down. "It's different though, I usually eate fish raw." She hoped the notion wouldn't sit ill with him, seeing as most considered what she did an odd, if animalistic, habit.

"Raw... fish?" Corbin repeated as he stopped stripping the cooked fish of its white meat and looks at Oceanid, then blinks slowly. "Really?" he asked, then quite curiously. "I never took you as a eater for raw stuff."

"Mhm. It's easier than cooking...especially when you don't really know how to." She nibbles on a bit more fish in between sentances, swallowing first so she's not being rude. "It's not like raw fish is bad for you."
