Marina giggled and followed him. "Naw, your name is Caspy, silly!" She said, licking his cheek. "You don't mind if I call yout that, do you?" She asked, looking a bit ashamed as she remembered his reaction las time.

((For some reason, the part where Marina stares at Caspian when he grows make me laugh.))
"Call me whatever you want," Caspian replied, not nearly as sensitive about it now as he used to be. "Whatever makes you...happy." It was odd, saying happy, as he still wasn't truly acquainted with the word. He knew Marina made him this 'happy' thing, but he still couldn't comprehend that.

Katachii Merlin was sur ehis face portrayed his utter confusion. Why were they going underwater? Deciding Nereida wasn't out to kill him, he dove under as well, struggling for a moment to find her in the murky waters before swimming after her. Hopefully, it wouldn't be a long swim; he was fighting to stay swimming as the water weighted down on his fur.

((Demon, let's just say Nereida and Merlin got ot know each other much better, because.... EVA'S ABOUT TO PULL A PLOT TWIST!
That's right, Bateau Tribe members! Fact is, things haven't been going very far lately, for which Eva will take the blame. But I figured it was time to shake things up (and bring those who aren't RPing in...)
So! Twist!
Two weeks after the tribe celebration for becoming official (what we've bene RPing) a hurricane has ripped through the Shipwreck Isles. It is now the day after the heavy storm, and the Bateau members must pick up the pieces of their lives. And yes, you're allowed to have your foxes injured if you wish to.

Marina awoke slowly, snuggling closer to Caspian. She found his even breathing comforting.
A few moments later, scattered memories of what had happened the day before came to light, including her cut and twisted left front paw.
She didn't know where the rest of the tribe was, and she didn't know how many of them were alive. Caspian and her had managed to find a good sized hole in forest that they could both fit into, and they had spent at least an hour watching trees, dirt and the occasional small animal whirl above them.
Somehow, they had fallen asleep, but now it was morning, the sun's light barely making it through the cloudy and smoky sky.
Marina needed to find the rest of her family.
"Cas? Caspian, you gotta wake up," She said, nudging at him with her good paw. Marina had tripped while running (thus the twisted part), and a large stick had fallen into the hole during the night, grazing the same paw. She hadn't bothered to wake Caspian; he'd need all the sleep he could get.
"C'mon. We have to go find everyone." She licked his cheek.

Caspian maanged to open one pitch-black eye long enough to see Marina and take in her appearance. Satisfied that she was in no real danger, he made a small whining sound and put his head back down. "We shouldn't yet. This could be the calm part of the storm."
Struggling to stand up, he hobbled to the entrance of their safe area, pushing back a pile of debris with his least beaten-up shoulder--he'd been shoving brances of trees out of Marina's way as they ran. When he managed to create a hole large enough, he pushed the debris away, blinking into unexpected sunlight.
He looked around, seeing no clouds on any horizon. Knowing he had lost that part of the argument already, he turned his head to look at Marina down in the hole. "We need to fix your paw first," he insisted. "You can't walk on that."
This was no random storm.
Ianthe concluded this as she stared at the massive hull of the ship, which, besides a few more planks strewn across the ground, was still in very much the same shape--and place--it had been the day before the storm. There was no way that could have happened unless some other force intended for it to.
But the cause of the storm was not her main concern right now. She'd only stopped briefly to study the ship, and now she needed to continue the search for those she lead. Turning away, she walked down the sand-covered shore, heading into the wooded portion of the main isle, hoping that all of the members had found shelter.

Nerissa blinked her eyes, slowly waking up. She started remembering what had happened the previous day. She looked around, finding Nereida, knocked out and under a fallen tree. "Nereida!" Nerissa gasped in horror, rushing towards her sister and pushing the tree off of her. She nudged her sister slightly, hoping it wouldn't hurt. She examined Nereida carefully. She had a small bump on her head, probably where the tree originally hit her. 'She'll have a pretty bad headache when she wakes up,' Nerissa thought. She sat up and looked around. 'I won't be able to move her by myself, and I know better than to look for the others myself.' Nerissa sighed. 'I just need to stay here in hopes that somebody will find us soon.'

"I can walk," Marina said defiantly, standing and going out of the small hole, breathing in the fresh air.
There were trees knocked over all around her; it looked so....dead. It disheartened her.
"See?" She said, limping a few feet away. "We should try to find Ianthe first,"
She looked around, then noticed a speck of blue in the distance. "Caspian!" Marina exclaimed. "That's either Nerissa or Nereida! We have to go and see if they're alright," She started limping away, stopping after a minute to rest and wait for Caspian. His shoulder was scratched pretty badly; they'd need to fix that too.

Nerissa's nose twitched at the familiar scent of Marina and Caspian. 'Yes,' she thought, 'help!' She obviously wouldn't be able to drag her sister back to the rest of the tribe by herself.

Marina ran as fast as she could with one lame paw over to the girls and said, "Oh, no. Cas!" She called over her shoulder. "We need to move her," She moved so she could be next to Nerissa and started to push the tree with her head, grinning slightly as she felt it move. "Help me," She said, moving her head slightly to look at the girl.

Nereida rushed back to her sister with a nod and also started to push the tree off of her. Pushing with all her might, Nerissa sighed with a smile as the tree rolled away from Nereida. "Thank you, Marina," Nerissa said, "I never would have been able to do it by myself. Are you okay?" She asked, noticing Marina's hurt paw.

Marina smiled as the tree was rolled off of her fellow tribe mate and shrugged at Nerissa's question. "I'll be fine," Sure, it hurt like all get out, but Marina wasn't one to complain.

Nerissa just nodded. "Okay," she said, "What about Caspian?" She asked, looking back at the fox who still hadn't joined them.

Caspian had been pulling random herbs for Marina and Nereida, remembering what shamans had told him to get for pain relief. Once he was done, he ran as fast as he could to the three femaes, then dropped the pile of plants in fornt of Marina and Nereida. "Chew on those. Temporary pain relief." He rolled his sohulders back to get rid of kinks from the night before, then looked over to Nerissa. "Have you seen any of the others?" he asked softly.
Merlin looked up as he heard the muffled sounds of voices. Normally, he wouldn't care...but he thought he heard Nereida. Picking himself up with a slight hiss of pain, he walked over to the group, sighing in relief when he had the four of them in relatively good condition.

Nerissa shook her head. "I just woke up, then saw you two. Everyone is probably going to gather around or on the Ship, though," she said.
Nereida complied. "Thank you," she said, "All of you..." She sighed in relief as the pain slipped away slightly. Her ear twitched as she heard someone walking over. She looked over. "Merlin! Are you hurt anywhere?" She asked as she looked him over.
