this other time we were doing double time and 4-5 in pure mud in the freezing cold so our limbs are all ridged and one of our sousaphone players slipps and falls so we all just stop and start mud sliding ^^ when we went back inside we still had to go through half of the school day covered in mud it was really fun (and it pissed off our janitors) xd

At band camp we were playing this one song called like, The Light Cavalry or something, and the tune made me think of that song that goes "Rompe rompe nananaan" or whatever. It was hilarious xd

I'm so mad. I went to a funeral where it's not acceptable to be running around in the mud. And have we had yet another mud day since? Nooo sad Poor Ninners.

Part of our second number sounds like "In the Hall of The Mountain King," except it's all jazzy and whatnot. And whenever we practice before a football game or a competition, instead of playing (because we need to 'conserve our lips') we scream "FLAVA FLAAAAVE" because that's what it sounds like in the music.

we were playing pomp and circumstance and I was thinking about setting down my instrument, getting undressed, and running around doing the party boy dance. I started to laugh so hard that i couldn't contain it and the person sitting next to me laughed and soo nthe whole band was laughing. turned out someone tripped walking.

We were playing pomp and circumstance and the random thought, "What would happen if one of them fell and then the rest fell like dominos?" popped into my head. I kept playing for a while before I realized that it was absurd and started to laugh. Good thing it was just practice.

We were playing this classical-sounding thing called "Layers of Stone", and for some reason, our English teacher walks in. Well, he always wears this gold chain necklace and bracelet, right? Well, I pictured him rapping the Eastern Motors song(again...yes, he did that in our class...) and I thought, "Mr. Barham's got bling!"
I swear, on the first day of school he wore all pink. About 7 of us thought he was gay.

Our band was playing some music for next years show (Cirque de Solei) one day in class near the end of school, so the whole band was really relaxed and playing around, and when our BD had to go answer his phone we all started playing some melody thing, then one of our alto sax's that is freakin' hilarious started playing the 'doo doo doo da doo da doo doo dooo doo' thing they play at circuses and our BD walked in laughing and said 'We should play that at the first game while we march off!' So, our plan is to actually do it blaugh

While playing Oye Como Va, I've always thought that the bass drummers (who are all guys, mind you. All but one girl, actually...) would start dancing around the drummers and quads. Well...pole dancing, actually.
What a twisted mind have I. rofl

We were playing "Sabre Dance" at our Spring Concert. Which is a circus song. And I thought all these clowns were gonna come out, scare the crap out of me and my friend, run away, and run home and forget we would ever play in the concert.
