"Comfortable? The only time I'm comfortable is in battle, everything else is an annoying distraction just as those women are." Kin explained not realizing what he is said was actual truth and no longer a lie.
Kin laughed.
"I have a question, back there, you were acting odd. You kept staring at the one who touched my arm as if you cared about her. I don't understand, what was that about?" Kin asked with a confused face.
Kin asked Vix fully unaware of what a relationship and love is about.
Vix said, feeling ashamed and confused and slightly angry that he didn't understand.

"Honestly, I felt an attraction to her. I thought that she was cute. But you are right, she would be a distraction, one that I do not think I need right now. Haven't you felt the same thing before, a physical attraction to a woman like that?" Sai said. Stratus observed.
Sai said and managed to sigh mentally at Stratus.

Kin's face kept it's confused look. "Attraction to a woman? I don't know, what is it like? What do you gain from it?" Kin asked, shooting his questions off quickly and not enough time for Sai to answer them at once.
Vix asked.
Kin replied.

"Well, it's kinda hard to explain. I guess it's like an urge to be near them, and talk to them a lot, and touch them... also a lot... You gain pleasure because they are near you." Sai answered.

"My name is Attica," she said crisply,"and this is my raven Trioto...and he would be willing to search for the two men you seek," she said.
"Why are you so eager to follow them I am guessing maybe they have something you want from them..." she said curiously. Trioto took flight and searche for the two men.

Keichi laughed in her mind.
Sakura shrugged.
"Oh, by the way, my name is Sakura," she told the girl with the raven.

"I have no idea why we're following the guys. Ask Minatsuki."
Faia shifted slightly on Sky's slick back. She let down her long blonde hair, causing it fall down like a golden river.
"I personally don't want to. That one guy creeped me out."
Faia smiled. Sky snorted in amusement. The unicorn looked around, slightly scared of Keichi. She snorted and backed up a step.
Sky lowered her head in defeat and sniffed the ground. She pawed one hoof, sending up a cloud of dust. Her eyes were completely hidden by her forelock, her spiral horn glittering in the sun.

Kin's face became more confused. "I don't understand. I guess, I will think about it for awhile." Kin said with a slightly saddening tone.
Vix said slightly annoyed.
Vix revealed himself from underground slowly and slithering on the ground creating designs. He then trailed off the path a bit but still going the same direction.
"Vix is looking for something to eat." Kin explained to Sai before he could even ask.
"Neither of us have eaten in two days." Kin explained once again and acting like it wasn't a big deal.

"You can call me Mina, by the way."
Minatsuki smiled at Faia, and Asako flapped her wings impatiently, wanting to take flight some time soon.
Minatsuki shushed Asako, glaring at her. She turned to the group in a curious glance, scratching her head.
"But you guys are combatants, too. Right? If they are combatants, and if they are looking for a village where the sages are, we don't have to go look for one. We could just follow them to the next village. I didn't necessarily say follow the tense guy around."
Minatsuki shrugged, smiling, or smirking, at the dubbed name.
"We can decide where to go next or split up there. I don't know about you guys, but I want to sleep under a roof tonight, and take a hot bath."
Minatsuki sighed, remembering past two days since she left the last town. She thought she was going the right direction. Thought.

Keichi shouted for jubily startling Sakura. She smiled at the now jumping wolf.
"Yeah that's definately a good idea," Sakura nodded, "Besides the guy that wasn't tense seemed to know where he was going."
(This will be the only time I get on today, for I am going out of town. I do not know what time I'll be back so I'll probably prefer to go to bed when I get home.)

"I have some dried meat and bread in my pack. You guys want some?" Sai asked.
Sai swung his pack down while still walking and withdrew a strip of dried and seasoned meat.
He said and tossed it high into the air.
Stratus swiftly swooped down and caught the meat in his talons and then floated back up to his former altitude. He began taking small bites of the meat and letting the taste dissolve in his mouth, savoring it and also trying to make it last.
Sai withdrew three more strips, placed one firmly between his teeth, and held the other two out to Kin.

Faia reahced into her sack and pulled out two apples. She tossed one to Sky, who caught it gratefully in her mouth. Faia took a small bite out of the other one.
"I personally enjoy bathing in the creeks but whatever. I guess we could follow them."
Sky ate the rest of her apple, some of the juice dripping from her furry mouth. Faia offered her pack to the others.
"I've got a variety of food in here if you guys want some."

"Your giving away your own food? Why would you do that?" Kin asked, slightly confused at his behavior.
"But yes, I will accept them." Kin said as he quicky took them from Sai and nibbled at it while his cat eyes glanced around aimlessly at his surroundings.

"I suppose I'm sharing it because I find that people don't make for very good conversation when they're starving. We've still got a long ways to go before we get to the next village. By the way, I've been meaning to ask you about those gauntlets. Where did you get those, they look incredible, some of the best that I've ever seen. Are you a fist fighter then, since you don't seem to have any other weapons?" Sai asked while they continued to trudge through the soft sand of the hot and barren desert.
Stratus floated along, riding the hot air currents that drifted up from the sand. There was so much of an updraft coming off of the gleaming hot desert that he rarely even had to flap his wings, he simply adjusted his feathers and coasted along. He was content that way, relaxed. And he kept pace with his partner, never getting to far ahead but never falling behind either.

Kin finished the edible gift and put the second peice away for Vix or for himself later. "Yes, these gauntlets also have sharp claws that extract from them. Much like holding many knives but keeping your hands free at the same time." Kin explained and then showed him his example as he extracted the pointy claws and then putting them back away inside the gauntlets. "I can control when they extract by the movement of my fingers inside, I would say its much like a cat's claws." Kin explained once again, feeling too open so he kept quiet for awhile.
Vix said to Kin as he finally returned, slithering infront of them.
