Sry, couldn't help myself on that one. Hello all, name's Kiante, I'm new to the guild as you may have guessed. I guess I'm probably not the best rper, although I like to think I can hold my own. Really I've only beein in a few RPs in my life, and one I was very little and didn't really understand or get into much. I actually have my own forums where some friends and I do a KH Roleplay. Anyway, now you know too much about me already, so I shall end this post.

hiya heart im hikaru, but you can call me Karu. i love to role play, im partial to fantasy becasue my avi is based off of a creature i called a Windian from my old guild (a part human tribe that had wings of different birds and could do different things involving the element wind) but im good for any kind of rp really

rickdraco Hey, Name's Rick, and I'm new to the guild. I think I'll mainly be looking to join Fantasy-themed RPs like Feretris. Awesome biggrin Liceid-- grammar nazis are appreciated keylinman - you don't need to do any thing but read the thread that you want to join

I'm known here as Galvorte, but you can call me whatever the hell you please.
I do have a question: are dice-based games common here, or is it mostly freeform? Nothing against those that play freeform, I play it from time to time myself if I like the idea or can't find a dice based game, but I don't really like freeform a whole lot. I greatly prefer dice based games, though I always hope they retain some flexibility and don't turn into roll playing instead of role playing -- but the framework a regular game system provides is highly useful, I've found.

It's mostly free-form, but Gaia has a role dice option that you can use. Also I think that the Mental RP (see subforum of same name) has some point system or something more structured like that.
