You know, in both your cases, I get that all the time.
It makes me feel quite retarded. Especially when it happens in front of people...which happens a lot. I think it happens so much they're used to it by now... sweatdrop wink

My play count is pretty high for how long I've had it...scary...but it is a great song, so no problems there...

I don't bother looking at play counts. xDD
I just set it to repeat on whatever song I want to listen to.

Usually I only look at play counts when I want to scare myself over my obsessiveness. They aren't really accurate anyway because I have my old iPod, my sister's iPod, my new iPod, and my computer. So it's sprea out and sometimes I reset them anyway.

I used to do that, but then I started getting sick of the songs. I lost a lot of favorite songs through that. So now, even if it's a good song I don't think i'll be able to get sick of, I try to tone down how much I listen to it because I don't want to stop liking it. It's a habit.
