I was wondering if perhaps you could create a sub forum for out of character discussions? That way people could discuss their roleplay out of character with the others in the roleplay to get some idea as to what needs improvement, what doesn't, possibly what they could do next in the rp or maybe even a few ideas for a new rp. Of course people could just create an ooc thread on their own, but if they were to be put in a forum they would be easier to locate. If this idea has been suggested before, then I am sorry for wasting your time. Thank you for listening.

ok after reading this post i have thought of a few things that could help this guild out.
Ideas:
#1- Well i've seen many subforum ideas, i like the way you have the Beginner, Intermediate, Expert Roleplays set up. Though the classes could use work in my opinion. This is a way i think would make it more functional.
Firstly take the classes out of the questions subforum, that should be for stuff such as how to start an RP, what should i do now that ive joined the guild.
Second make a Classes subforum. in the classes subforum make posts that are very specific. (I.e. Character Management, Post critique) this would allow new members to post their ideas and such and have the teacher of that class critique. For instance a member posts his profile in the Character management class. The teacher could then go in copy and paste and then make changes showing the mistakes the member made and give critiques. I just believe this would be more productive. but of course it is just an idea.
#2- I;ve noticed alot of profiles of character that have alot of trouble making descriptions good enough for people to really understand the character. i was thinking that if we gather up the Quite a few amazing artists i know we have in the guild, we could start a small inexpensive Roleplay character art shop. This would allow people to see the character and let the character makers elaborate merely from the image.
Doing this would raise their skills in describing characters and also help beginners figure out how to interact with different characters.
I Also believe i would be a good Moderator, i Am on at least 3 or 4 hours of the day and spend 75%+ of that time browsing the guild forum or roleplaying. I have read over just about every rule and explanation thread and post in here and would love to help out.
-Hellbent Soldier-
*smiles apologizingly* I hope this wasn't too long, if you have any questions or need anything just let me know, Thanks.

I am willing to move posts for RPs in their proper subforums. I also have an idea about a Level 3: Advanced subforum. It will give very hard but fun RPs a place to sleep.

Just to let you folks know, we mods can't make sub-forums. Only can do that when you're Captain, or Vice Captain. And the problem is, we DON'T need more Advanced rps. We need to fill in the spots, used by all of them. sweatdrop
Second of all, you just can't become a mod-because you think you have a good idea. Reading the rules and all is great, but obviously we can't let everyone who said they wanted to be a mod-because said they have a good idea-become a mod. sweatdrop
[err, and STOP BEING SUCH AN ELITIST a**! The way you post makes it seem like we don't know what the hell we're doing and you're a genius. I'm not saying to whom this is to]

I cannot take moderation requests seriously if you cannot use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Hideyyo, there was nothing wrong with your request itself, but I've only seen beginner RPs from you so I can't let you move RPs into their subforums.
Also, the Advanced RPs stay in the main forum where they get the most exposure. We are catching up to moving the other RPs because I was gone on a trip.
Hellbent Soldier - I really like the art shop idea. I think that you should gather some people and start that. Start it in the main forum.
As for the classes subforum, yes and no. We are planning a writing subforum where people can get their work critiqued. I understand that your idea was more than just that, and that it is a little disorganized in there. We have been very busy but we will try to work on that subforum without creating any new ones for now.
OOC forum -- no. What you should do is create another thread for OOC wherever your RP is.

I would like to be a moderator. I try to teach the people in my threads who have difficulty with RPing literately to improve the quality of the posts. I know the qualities of a good thread and I could place them in their proper place. I am online for several hours a day and spend almost all my time here, looking at different threads in the different forums. I honestly believe I can handle being a moderator for this guild.

Show me an Advanced RP that you have started and we'll talk. It doesn't have to be in the guild. Also, you do not need to be a mod to help people in the Questions subforum.

Sir, I am moving to an advanced RP, named Code: Earth. I just have to be accepted first.

Why does everyone want to be a mod, anyway? Is it just so you can move stuff around? Because I think we do that just fine, besides-EVERYTHING you people list as things you could help with, you can do without being a moderator. Instead of sitting here Begging SDRP to make you a mod, and take initiative to help, you don't need a title to do that.

You can be able to answer questions, give tutors, and help without the title that other people crave.
