Skip wasn't sure what was creepier, how Vixen was acting, or the fact that this place was bringing it out in her, because what was creepy about that was that it made it seem like she was in her element. Skip wasn't so sure he liked Vixen in her element.
Okay, where next? Well, dead end where His Royal Monstrosity once slept, so... no choice but to go back. "Okay, Emerald, you all set?" he asked, knowing that Vixen was probably already walking away.

((I'm back!!!)) Crap, out of the frying pan, into the fire, eh? Actually... wait, no, this was more like out of the fire, back into the frying pan, seeing as how these guys didn't seem as tough as that last monster... Whatever. Hm... it didn't seem worth it to summon anything for these guys... what kind of damage would the staff do on its own? Skip wasn't too sure, but he decided it was worth a shot. He attempted to attack one of these things with his weapon, hoping it did more damage to them than them to it. < >

Vixen breathed in the rejuvenating scent of death that was emanating off of their fallen foes. It did seem like nothing could stop them now, and she would make sure of it. Especially if it meant she would get to bludgeon the piss out of something.
She followed Skip through the hole, eager to find more creatures that they could mutilate. And maybe a challenge this time, perhaps?

[Well done, Vixen 2. Yeah, and Robby, don't ask. She won't even tell me all that much. It involves court and other bad stuffies.]
The second floor was much, much smaller than the first, and consisted of a simple, round chamber, with a small console plopped right in the middle. The thing looked much like the holo-sweetness they'd found back in Subania, but it now had some weird slot fastened to the bottom. Like...a vending machine of sorts. This time, the word "FATE" was projected, in big block letters. No globe.
