She looked back down to the water, concentrating, her tounge sticking out. She watched as the fish once again surrounded her legs, not noticing the danger. Two fish smaw by, both in fornt of nyx's paws and she struck at both fish at once. With a large splash, she took down one fish putting both her paws on it. Her hind legs slipped and she fell down, the watter lapping over her head, stilll pinning the fish. "Ow" she muttered through a series of bubbles as she used her hind legs to get up. Now her but up in the air, she dragged her front paws backward scraping the fish on the sand. Nyx stood up, her weight on the fish not flopping anymore.
She looked up at Ianthe, grinning, still dripping wet. "heh." Was her only comment on her unorthodox fishing.

Ianthe couldn't help it; she burst into peals of genuine, amused laughter. "Oh, my. That's one way to do it, I guess," she said finally, still chuckling. "Good job."

"I guess that was silly." Nyx smiled, shaking off the water. She pushed the fish up on the sand and cut it open liek Ianne had done. "want some fish?" She said cheerfully, grinning.

Shaking her head in amusement, Ianthe leaned over to lick Nyx's cheek. "I don't know. I may have to try that method sometime."
Truthfully, she wasn't very hungry, but she wanted Nyx's first catch to mean something. "Only if you go first," she replied, gesturing to the gutted fish.

"Okay!" Nyx said, smiling. She took a small bite of the fish even though she wasn't hungry anymore. "Do you want it, or shoudl it be left for the birds?" She questioned Ianne.

Ianthe took a small bite, if only for ceremonial purposes, and then stepped back. "I'm sure the birds will thank us," she said with a wry chuckle.
She stopped to look up at the sky; it was getting late. "Nyx, seeing as it's late and all....Well, would you like for me to take you home, or do you want to stay here?"

She spoke up gleefully. "I'd like to stay here and meet your tribe members!" Nyx smiled at Ianthe. "THis place is so much more intrestign than the place with the reacher... trees." Nyx quickly corrected herslef.

Ianthe smiled softly and headed up the shores. "Well then, I guess I should take you to the sleeping grounds for a time. Dawn is coming; we won't see the others tonight."
((Finish this and move to Bateau? -shrugs-))

Ianthe chuckled and lead her mate on, listening to her chattering next to her.
She grinned to herself, eager to unleash this little ball of energy on her pessimistic tribe members. Because that was whole point, wasn't it? To try and make them happier as they came together as one.
One.
She glanced over at Nyx.
Yes, she rather liked the sound of that.
((Well, I'll close this then. Go ahead and have Nyx come find Ianthe in Bateau^^.))
