oh yeah that reminds me...why is my Vincent so weak!?!?!....ok Lvl 99..9999HP..999MP..best weapon in game......what went wrong?...only hits 2761! Cloud hits 9999x4 just fine !


Ah, here's the thing about Vincent that many people don't seem to know (much less realize). Okay, you know how every character has an ultimate weapon of sorts (sans Aeris, her strongest physically is the parasol, but that isn't 'ultimate') with eight materia slots and a special ability/effect? You know, how Cloud's current HP effects the color of his blade (and it's power) or how the current MP of a character effects the strength of their weapon (like Barret's ultimate weapon). Vincent's ultimate weapon's special ability is unique to himself, and somewhat fitting, considering it's name. The Death Penalty (Vincent's ultimate weapon) can only get stronger by having Vincent deal the finishing blow or having him kill a monster. Therefore, the more monsters you kill with Vincent, the stronger his attack gets. That is probably what one of your problems is. Another would be if you loaded him up with materia. Most people tend to forget that materia (I'm referring to the magic and summon materias here) can increase you rmagic power but SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER your character's strength and HP. You notice the change in HP, yes, but you don't immediately notice the change in attack strength. If you load Vincent to the brim with magic and summon materias and use his ultimate weapon but haven't had him kill much of anything, then you're going to have some problems with the damage he'll deal to the enemies.

I like Yuffie, regardless of everyone else's reasons for hating her. For every reason you give to hate her, I can give at least two more to love her.

I always put as many female charactors as possible in my party, soooo i guess you could say i didn't hate yuffie. But getting my materia stolen sure pissed me off.

Yuffie's a patriot and her love for Wutai's so inspering ^^

Anyway's she's my favourate becuase of her limit breaks, her attitiude (hey she warms up to them further on into the game so she devolpes as the game goes on)
Sure she steals your materia but thats just an optional mini-game DUH!

She's like 16 and she's on bar with 21 year olds etc and the date sequence between her and Cloud is so sweet heart If you havnt seen it i sujest you watch it straight away.

I personally love Yuffie. (And Vincent) my reason is, she is still a kid, I mean... She's 16, and she's spunky. And she has a way of making the best comments, I mean.. when you meet vincent and he refuses to tell you his past Yuffie just butts in. "It's ok, it was probably depressing anyways." And so forth, so I always had her in my party because with her everything was a surprise. Sure, she stolet he materia, but it was really fun getting it back.

Sure, her character can be weak as can Vincents... But if you play around and figure out the perfect materia to equip them with, you get pretty powerful characters. So yeah...
