Red stared in awe as she watched the two men combat. It soon became apparent to her that this didn't look like a fight between two enemy's trying to kill each other, they seemed to be having to much fun for that, but maybe, it was a spar between friends? She still wasn't completely sure about that one, but if they weren't enemy's then what else could they be.

Her eyes glowed with wonderment and the fact that she was using her real eyes to get a better look at the battle, and she knew now what her father mean't about the beauty and glory of a battle well fought. For there was not other way to discribe, as anything other then beautiful.

She cheered as fire and either collided, and stared in amazement as the ash dragon soared through the air. Finally she was left breathless as Ksi carved the kanji for heaven, in what might be his finally display of power. She couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

He would soon be under assault as Victor pointed his fist at Ksi, then snapped his fingers again, however, unlike the small grenade-like explosion that had resutled earlier, this time the effect was something akin to a ICBM going off in his face, and the trigger was much faster as well, not as much time to react. His stump just sort of hung there, as he was still msising his arm from the earlier attack.

Victor stayed calm as Ksi shot towards him and vanished, he moved almost at the last second, side-stepping the esper, his right hand coming down and trying to grab his wrist even as he spun around the Esper's back to use it as a shield for the incoming holy explosion, of course he'd still take some of the damage as he noticed the force of his movement tearing up the path leading to them, as the momentum and movement shot towards him, he extended his hand, moving yet again as he super-heated the air, increasing the friction of the side-effect to supernormal levels so that now it was a blade of heat that would threaten to slice into the esper. He was intending to use the holy explosion to try and knock Ksi momentarily off balance and into the 'blade' of super-heat that was now coming at his back. He leapt away shortly before the blade would hit, singed in various places from the holy explosion.

He sensed what was going to happen even as the force started to push in.

~Crap!~

He thought, his eyes flashing once with red energy before his body was crushed and condensed into a small ball of grey fleshy substance.

However, upon closer inspection. It was seen that the ball was actually a ball of compressed soot and some blood, he had transformed his body into soot, but he had done it only after he had started to get crushed, so he had taken some damage, but not the full effect.

Ksi would again feel the air around him superheat as he would be hit once again by the missle-strength blast. He had formed his hand inside the ball and snapped his fingers again to use the attack without Ksi being warned ahead of time. although the blast was weaker it was mainly intended to make Ksi lose his concentration on the Telekinetic hold so Victor would have time to reform himself.

He flexed his right hand as he held it up. Flames again erupting from his fingers and flaring out to form what looked like a whip consisting of pure flame.

"Pyrus Salamander Tongue!"

He cracked the flame whip in the air, creating a minor heat distortion before it faded away. The whip coiled in his right hand as he assumed a fighting pose.

His arm became a blur again as his whip turned into a huge lash of flame to counter the wave of holy ether, the resulting clash would send out a HUGE shower of sparks into the air, however, rather then dissappating, the sparks would kind of just hang there, swaying around in the air between him and Ksi. the lash was strong enough to disperse the holy wave due to it's obscene cutting power.

As Ksi shot through the cloud of drifting sparks left from the result of the clash of his ether wave and Victor's whip, he'd suddenly sense the energy in them flare up tremendously.

"Pryus Haze!"

Suddenly Ksi's senses would go haywire, specifically his ability to sense energy, the sparks were acting like a sort of energy Chaff, and while it would only provide afew moments disorientation. It should be enough to stall the attack for afew seconds, during that time Victor's whip would lash out in the blink of an eye, seeking to skewer the esper through the stomach as he stabbed with it like some kind of loooooong spear. This all happened at the same time as the disorientation. He'd then withdraw the whip and coil it back up in his hand.

As the blade came along to strike at him, he lifted his foot and caught the blade, it would dig into his foot past the bandages due to it's supercharged holy energy, smoke and steam rising off of his foot as he growled. His other foot came around and kicked the blade away somewhat as his whip withdrew and lashed out again, the sparks had faded away so now the esper was hardly affected now as the whip shot towards him, zig-zagging around at high speeds like a snake of some sort. Even as the ash shards on the ground shot up and circled around him, forming into his Dead Sword again even as he was busy using the Salamander Tongue with his remaining good hand.
