every day but "retired" now

21 and retired... talk about 'live fast', eh? j/k ^_~ I can't help but wonder now, though... is there a retirement fund for that? A 420 401k, or something? o_O*

noisia
travelled the world extensively and can speak japanese as well. have in depth knowledge into psychology and how the mind works. understanding how the mind works on drugs is very interesting haha.

Japanese is fun... 'course, it teamed up with Reality and kicked my a** when I decided to take Japanese 1; turns out that three or four years of watching anime fansubs everyday for a couple hours isn't the advantage you'd think it is...

But I did pass the class just fine. It was fun, actually. Latin, though... that one didn't need any help. It beat me to a pulp all by itself. x_X; Effing Romans... still inflicting misery from beyond the grave!

Glad you came ^_~ You -- and your post secondary education -- are welcome to make yourselves at home. : biggrin

LOL They're not as interesting, trust me... xd

Latin was interesting, no doubt about that... and it amused me to learn that the Latin word for 'beautiful' is essentially the same as the one for 'war.' It's almost like, with that knowledge you can summarize the essence of the culture. o_O

Really badly... (ohayo, though, by the way. ^_~) It's literally been ten years since I took the class, and hardly even watch any TV now anymore, let alone anime. crying Hm... maybe I should pop Read or Die in later on. Just to mess with the 'rents -- they went to see Live Free or Die Hard last night. xp

But one of the girls I know is in Japan right now with the JET program (teaching English)... 3nodding

Hi-hi, My name is Lizzy, but you may refer to me as Eulie

I saw a banner from a member and I HAD to check it out..
I am for the legalization of cannabis, and I smoke it on relaxed occasions, soo, about once a month or so, for two days at a time.
I think THC is a miracle chemical and I really wanted to discuss it more with you fine folks.
I hail from Texas, right next to the border. *wink*
I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, dancing, watching anime and reading manga, playing video games, chillin' out, eh.
The list goes on and on.
And I'm crazy as ******** for pandas.

Bah, katakana or hiragana -- yeah, they're not kanji, but it's all Greek to me! xd

Last I heard, she was doing fine... it was tough at first, of course -- the town she was assigned to is suburban almost to the point of being rural, and of course she doesn't have a car there. She gets around town fine, but apparently it really emphasises how culturally removed Japan is from western society... I know she's said it's really nothing like Tokyo, which I visited... thirteen years ago, now. I don't remember much more than that Coke cans were shaped differently and McDonald's was damned expensive (only went once in a 11-day stay; by then we didn't care about absorbing the culture anymore!).

I don't hear from her that often (we're not close-close; there's a mutual friend who's really the connection there, but we get along well enough and touch base online sporadically), but she does seem to be genuinely enjoying it there!

Hehe, I like them, too... er, Yes, I mean. And Them, but... boy, does classic rock get confusing. Who's on stage? o_O; My boyfriend calls Yes 'math music'... he also called me last Thanksgiving from his dad's because his dad and uncle were arguing about what the Pythagorean Theorem was (the uncle was right).

Talk about non-specific... Texas has no shortage of 'border' area! I'm assuming it's the Mexican border, though, hey?

Hey, hey.
The Rio-not-so-Grande cannot keep away my heritage.
lol

(this is true, since pollution and many other ecological changes have reduced the Rio to about a fourth of it's size)
