He followed behind her, and pondered on that idea as well. "I also do wonder. By the way it seems to go, it's probably pretty old," he spoke, nodding. "I just do hope it won't go too far," he mumbled, scratching his chin.

Ness stopped for a moment letting Victor catch up. She kept forgetting how quick she moved. She watched him. "That also poses the question to us. How much do we want to explore? Do we just also explore the left tunnel? Or, after that, do we come back and slide down the shaft? I mean.. how do we decide when to call it a day?"

He noted that and got an idea, "Perhaps..we'll go a little ways, and see what's out there? In case there's nothing, then we'll just turn back?", he shrugged, "Whatever you think of that possibly."

Ness looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "You mean you don't know this cave? and.. here I thought you were an expert cave explorer. I suppose I gave you too much credit then." She smirked and snickered to herself. She was of course teasing him, but sometimes Victor took a joke.. and sometimes he didn't.
Ness then headed over and stood in front of the left tunnel. She walked into it; waving the flashlight all over trying to have some sense of being more prepared.

Victor smirked, following behind her closely. "Least I will when we get done with it," he stuck his tongue out at her, in a purely..well, playful manor.

Ness walked down the corridor. She thought to herself how completely awesome it would be to have a club in a place like this.. With blacklights and disco balls.. and huge woofers all over hte place blasting music... making the walls and ceilings shake.. how fun would that be... The idea made her smile. Man.. wouldn't that just be full of awesome?
Ness looked back at Victor who was lagging again. "Walk up Vic.. if you walk up a little more.. I'll let you hold my hand while we go down here." She winked at him, playfully. Always encouraging his behavior towards her. But, deep down.. even though she liked to say and act otherwise. She was growing accustomed to the attention and spoiling he did with her.

He heard her and did as she spoke to do. He let his paw out a little, so she could grab onto it. "You getting scared?", he teased her, sticking his tongue out playfully.

She winced and looked at him like she just saw an icky on his face. "What? Me, scared.. please... I just thought I'd do something nice for you since you were being so nice for me before. " Without too much more ado about it, she took his hand, wrapping her paws intertwining with her own.

He smiled, holding her hand tight, to dare not let go. He was at a loss for what to say next, and just continued to watch out..the path though was really a bit..the same.

Ness stopped walking when they reached another dead end. "Maybe we should... just pitch camp for a while. We can head home whenever we wake up."
She was getting a little tired of being in the dark so much. The adventure turned out to be more arduous than she anticipated.

"Maybe we should," he mumbled, placing a paw onto the wall. "I am getting a bit bushed," he yawned silently, stretching his whole body to wake himself up.

Ness set everything down and started to make camp like the first night Victor found her. It had been a while since then hadn't it? She rolled out her sleeping bag, and then she set about to making a small fire.
She looked over at Victor's backpack, noticing he didn't bring a sleeping bag just stuff. "Victor... you can sleep with me again if you want... I know how cold you get at night..."

He walked over to her, placing a couple of flamable pieces of debre into the fire. He looked to her and smiled, "I'd love to," He wondered if she was alright, and then noted that he should be there with her. Though she was seeming fine, he just wanted to make sure.

Ness crawled into the sleep sack, and cuddled up against the inside seam of it. She left the outer edge for him. She then closed her eyes feeling rather tired.
Somewhere deep in her mind, she was starting to think more seriously of things... and numas... Was she... too proud? Was her pride making her even more weak than she wanted to be?

Victor crawled in after her, curling somewhat to get comfortable. "Night Ness, sleep well," he whispered to her, closing his eyes slowly. He wasn't going to be asleep yet, but, he was waiting to hear her voice before he could sleep.
