The_Goddess_Aurora I liked the movie but the Calypso Revenge thing didn't feel resolved to me. Sure Davy Jones died, but I thought she said she was going to punish everyone. She was going to punish everyone, but then Will told her that Jones betrayed her so she was only going after him. amakama Can somebody please tell me whether it was Elizabeth's SON or DAUGHTER?
I couldnt tell.

Don't mean to offend, don't mean to insult... But did anyone else think "a ship of homos!" when the scene came on with the many Jacks on the Pearl? Honestly, when they were all prancing around with the water buckets and whatnot? Believe me, I loved the scene... But it was just so random and unexpected!

The beginning was sad with the kid singing....I have that as my media on my page. I cried when Norry died......WHY DID NORRINGTON HAVE TO DIE!!
I knew of the Davy/Tia thing. It was obvious in the second movie.

the tia davy thing was apparent for a pretty long time. But all of a sudden Elizabeth started kissing all these guys I was really confused about who she was in love with. And then did you see that last scene? That's so sad that they could only have one child every ten years. And that Will was immortal and Elizabeth wasn't. Oh well. I hope they make a fourth!!!

It wasn't really that happy, more bittersweet IMO.
But I think the end scene after the credits made it almost a happy ending. whee

Yeah, the after-credits thing makes it happy for me. ^^ And I think Jack and Barbossa had a happy ending as well--they get to go pillaging and plundering some more. Norrington and Davy didn't get happy endings though. D,8

Did anyone else start laughing and think of the M&M's commercial when they were tipping the boat? "Rock the Boat!"
The movie was good, but sometimes it felt like it was going really fast.
OMG, Jack's dad! rofl Now we know where he gets it from!
One quick question though: Why did they take out Will's heart? Davy Jones removed his after he'd become captain I thought. Am I confused?

They took out Will's heart while Jack and Liz were getting away, right after the crew on the Pearl got the two ships untangled. All they showed of it was the Dutchman crew surrounding Will doing their creepy "part of the ship, part of the crew" zombie thing.
