I like the idea of Day/Night, and weather. I think it could be could besides the fact that trees would have leaves in mid winter.
Horses would take up bank space because you have to feed em, and the riding blanket, and stuff like that.
No guns, no Ninja stuff, no races, people would get in fights and it would be just like real life where people kill eachother because their skins are different colors.

Even if they are extinct we can still use those unicorns as pack animals.
Oh and hears a thought. What if we could have farm animals on our house property's? Maybe we can have stables and raise the horses so that our guests can have horse races right there. Or a pig so we can play catch the pig. Maybe we can even play grab a**..... Oh wait, let me rephrase that. Maybe we can even play: Pin the tail on the real donkey.

Horses wouldn't necessarily take up bank space. Like Fu said, there could be stables at your house, similar to the effect costume rooms or bookshelves have. And I don't think people would kill each other for being different races... There may be flame wars and stuff (who said there isn't now anyway?) but I don't think you'd get, for example, elf characters waiting around in wildy waiting for a dwarf character to come by, because the dwarf has a slightly darker skin colour than the elf... That's silly. Some people may be idiotic enough to do that, but honestly. rolleyes

Race wars would actually be a really good minigame aswell.
You join a race to fight against another in a battle. Whichever race you choose, you become that race for the game. Maybe depending on your base character and their clothes, will reflect what your alternate race character looks like/wears. Also, to get in, you have to pick race related armor. Maybe a point system, each item is worth a certain amount of points, and you have to stay under a limit.
It doesn't even have to be one on one teamplay. Depending on how many are in which race decides the alliances.
Then again. It doesn't even have to be race VS race. It could be a mix of different races per team. Each race with their own pros and cons.
It could be two big teams, it could be a few teams. Hell, it could be small teams like BA. Much like the role system there, you decide what race role you'll play in the team. Then it's a free for all between all the teams. Actually, the last one would be interesting.
It could be like a zones type gameplay. There'd be a few Keeps. Teams will have to take over and guard them. Every so often you get points based on how many Keeps you have in your control. If it were to be like this, biger teams would be better. Maybe up to 4 teams or so.

If you haven't noticed, they tend to kill each other because of RELIGION way more than because of skin color, I'd say skin color's a small fraction. Either way, that's how the world is, there's discrimination because of race, and wars because of religion, hell Jagex new that and applied it to the game if you haveb't noticed. Think about how Zamarikans are often looked down upon by Saradomists [Hell, the God War is the best example], or how in the post bag from the hedge, Elven City Guard called the other races "impure" and Elves "perfect" not to mention all the gnome quests with them trying to start an all out war with humanity. Makes it more realistic. Ah, ******** it I just want to be an Elf. mrgreen
