What makes Linkin Park so kickass is the way they mix styles of rap and rock, and they don't just have a sertain volume in ther music they have soft music like "My December" to loud music like "CRAWLING" or "By My Self". But the main thing is that they way they calaberate with other ppl. like JZ and BLK King i thing that is really awsome.

erm sweatdrop ..... well..... i love them.....because...well....they put meaning into what they write sing and stuff ninja ... they also put alot of themselves into thier music.....you can tell 4laugh ....that is why i like them! heart

that fact that they were able to fuse all these different geners of music and make it sound awesome is an achievement in itself, but not only that, they were able to make it so different and so cool that every time u listened to it, u noticed something about the song that u didn't before

Mel_Darkflame Because they have Brad, Chester, Joe, Mike, Phoenix, and Rob. that's why. Like seriously, think about it. Brad does things with his guitar to make the music simple, but still sound kickass in a way that no one could perfectly duplicate. He says more with less. Chester, frick, he's the best vocalist there is out there! Joe's is an awesome DJ, and they're original with that... the fact that they have a DJ in their band. That's not very common at all. Mike's an awesome multi-talented Emcee that dosent rap about money and drugs and sluts, that's original. Phoenix is also very talented on the bass, and plays classical instruments as well such as the violin and cello found on the Reanimation CD. And Rob's a very skilled drummer. The members are what makes them different, the fact that they've been able to mix so many genres of music.... hardly anyone truly appreciates what Linkin Park has done to music. They've created something totally new. They're legends, even if alot of people dont like them and they're not recognised as such. I agree.

They can get away with screaming and yelling...+ my mom won't let ,me listen to them cause the first song she heard by them was 1 step closer

LP being rock and rap is just a big difference by itself. But their songs are all different sounds and volumes and are all catchy.
