Blaze smiled alittle.
"Oh that can't be the case." He said. "Jenny looks like a real rebel." He chuckled alittle.
"There is one more thing I have to ask." He said. "We're new in town. Do you know of a place where we can stay?"
Dracula sighed.
"We have one solution." He said. "We have to take temporary controll of Blaze's army. They need some type of leadership or they'll kill each other. Balthasar, issue a summons for the fire generals. I need to speak with them."
The werewolf stood and bowed.
"Of course." He said and hurried away.
"The rest of you are dismissed." Dracula said.

Jason shrugged. "Well, theres an apartment complex not to far from where we live. The rates will probablly be low, so you could get a two roomer."
Jenny smiled. "Yeah, and we can walk you there if you want us too. It wouldn't be much trouble."

"I hope not." Blaze said standing up so that he and Jenny were ey level. He smiled.
"Becuase I want to spend alittle more time getting to know you better."

Lilia almost gagged. Jenny got the biggest smile that Jason thought he had ever seen.
"I'd like that. I'd like that a lot," said Jenny.
"Except for the fact that we'll be busy a whole lot in our spare time, remeber, Blaze?" said Lilia looking straight at him.
"Oh, really? Doing what?" asked Jason curiously.
Oh, damn it. "Looking for, ah, things," Lilia said nervously.
"What kind of things?" Jason asked.
"Erm... things that require... a long time put in for looking at them," Lilia jumped up and grabbed Blaze's arm. "Well, mabye we ought to get on our way to that apartment, you know how things are these days."
Jenny gave Lilia a weird look and tunred to Jason. "Hey, Jay, how about you show them? You got break right now."
He shrugged. "Yeah, sure, alright."

Blaze pulled his arm from Lilia's grip.
"I can walk on my own." He said and whispered.
'What's the matter Lilia? You were doing SO well until just now.' He rasied an eyebrow.
'Searching for Erinshin is going to take time whether we spend all our time looking for him or not. What's up with you? You've never acted like this before.'

Lilia muttered something under her breath before discreatly pulling Blaze aside to speak to him. "Whats up with me is that I failed to mention the fact that because we are Sidhe, humans are... attracted to us because we are magic, which has not appeared up here for hundreds of hundreds of years. Therefore, we will most likley catch the attention of... certain unwanted... presences, which I failed to mention to you before because I thought you wouldn't care because you wanted an excuse to cook humans well-done, therefore, it would only cause you to attempt to pull more humans to you so that when trouble came, they would be the ones in trouble, not us."
She took a deep breath. "Therefore, because I really thought that you wouldn't care and wouldn't make friends anyway... I didn't tell you. But now. it seems like you have made friends, and to be perfectly honest, they may or may not be killed within the week. And that, Blaze, is why I am acting this way."

"Well geeze Lilia. If I didn't know any better, I'd have thought that you were jealous. And that the reason you are telling me this is becuase you don't want me....having alittle fun." He smiled. "I should have known you'd ingest some type of logic into this." He crossed his arms.
"If humans REALLY meant that much to me. I'd give up on trying to claim this land. Which I haven't." His voice was incredibly low so that only Lilia's and Blaze's advanced hearing could hear them.

Lilia turned beet red. "I-I-I I am most certainly NOT jealous! I'm just making sure that... if, by some random chance, you do make friends, I think you should know the risks involved. I certainly do not approve of hating humans, but I do not think we should get to close, either. Its too dangerous."

"I'll bear that in mind." Blaze said and turned back to Jason and Jenny.
"Sorry about that. When are we leaving?" He asked.
"Absolutely not!" THe fire general exclaimed. Dracula sat emotionless before the man.
It amazed him at how different all the species were. The fire species in particular seemd dto stand out the most. They were the least reserved, expressing themselves openly and freely and often with agression. It made them perfect soldiers for war. They were almost complete opposites from the dark species who were reserved and aristocratic. He sighed, trying to think of a wy to get through to the man.
"I'm only talking about a temporary commander." He said.
"But Blaze-" The genral argued.
"Is in the above world and will be for three months possibly more." Dracula replied.
"But, sir..."
"Are you saying you will disobey a Sidhe?" Dracula asked, flashing the man a briefly challenging look.
The general stiffened.
"You are talking to a man who is the oldest in the council. Who has more experience than all the elders. I have commanded armies hundreds of years before your time. Do you not trust my judgement?" Dracula smirked inside. The look on the General's face meant he had won.
"I will inform the soldiers that your army will be molding with ours for the time being..." He said.
"Good." Dracula said and the general dismissed himself.

"Whenever you're ready," said Jason, grabbing his stuff. "I get off in another hour anyway, so it dosn't matter whether or not I go anywhere. Jenny can cover for me." As he began walking towards the door he muttered quietly "Ms. Perfect Manager can do anything she wants." He turned to look at Blaze and Lilia. "Well, come on. We're burning daylight."

Blaze tucked his hands in his pockets anf followed behind Jason.
"See you later Jenny." He said as they left.
THe city certainly did have it's unique qualities tha Blaze had never seen. The skyskrappers were one thing, but Blaze also noticed flashing lights and moving signs, and an array of all sorts of things. He didn't know humans were smart enough to think of all of this. Still, he never let the emotion show on his face.

Lilia glanced over at Blaze while they were walking with some concern. While it was true what she said about dangers, she didn't want Blaze to get the idea that he should stay away from humans all together. There was much he could learn from them, and Lilia wanted him to experiance things he hadn't before. In no way was she trying to change him, but she did want his anti-human perspective to change.
Jason looked behind him at the silent couple. He had no iead what either of them were thinking about.
"So... how do you guys like it?"

"It's...really different from our home." Blaze said. "You adjust to living here right? All this noise?" If they were going to be here for awhile he wanted to make sure it wouldn't drive him crazy atleast.

Jason shrugged. "You just get used to it after a while. People nowdays want to go and get a living in the city, then get out to country mostly. It used to be opposite. I plan on leaving as soon as I can," he continued. They kept walking for a little ways longer, until they came to an apartment complex. It was spacious, clean-looking, and in a pretty good neighborhood. Jason led them into the office to get things set up. Within five minutes, Lilia had managed to secure a two bedroom apartment with a pretty decent rent.
"Okay then, I guess I'll see you around," said Jason as he began to walk home.
Lilia smiled at the keys and then looked at Blaze. "So, are ready to go decorate the apartment?"
