Creaky doors? Already Lira hated this place. For a sanctuary of silance, it seemed... Ah what was the word? Musty? No, that wasn't it. Taking a step into the somewhat gloomy setting on the Kirigakure library Lira thought harder of the word she was looking for.
Dingy? Wasn't that a small boat? Hm, not the right word either. Lira's hands ran smoothly over a few of the hard back covered books found in the front of the library.
Grimmy? Well, yes it was, but that was most likely years of sea water damage. After all, it was always foggy around town, it would be only natural for some of that to find it's ways into buildings. Her finger stopped on a black book, whoms title seemed to have been faded. She couldn't make out the words with full clarity.
Dreary? Not quite, but she was getting warmer. Lira looked at the first few pages of the book, nothing interesting. With a sigh and a thump she closed the book leaving it on the table.
"Dreadful!" Lira exclaimed as she though of the word. However; she quickly regreted doing so as she found herself darting between book shelfs trying to hide herself from anyone that may have heard her abrubt shouting in their quite studies.

Andou was just about to leave when he heard a shriek from inside the library. That librarian had heard it too, and was about to investigate when she saw him return, and nodded in thanks. Since Andou had leet ninja skills he quickly spotted the source of the sound. Of course, the other people staring also kind of helped a bit. Soon, he found a tiny girl with incredibly long hair. It was hard to believe that such a small, weak-looking girl could make such a large noise. She also looked kind of familiar, in the shinobi sort of way... Maybe she came from a clan that he knew of.
"Any problems?" he asked amusedly.

Stupid stupid stupid, Lira shouted in her head, forcfully shaking it with each empatic word. What would cause you to do something so stupid? Lira questioned herself. Her back was pressed against the book shelf as if it was a wall, slowly creeping to the floor. Her her bottom finally fell against hard ground she pulled her knees up to her chin, still scolding herself in her head. You should have just satyed home today you big oaf! Lira punched herself metaly in the face, letting out a long, crestfallen sigh.
"Any problems?"
Lira squeaked as the man spoke, burrying her face in her hands. Nerviously she laughed waving him away, "No, no I'm fine." Lira covered her head with her hands. Oh please please please go away. Lira begged herself, not even daring to turn her head to look at the man talking to her. Her father had told her how great a library was, how so many things could be learned. So far all Lira had learned was she hated the word dreadful.

"Hmmm," Andou answered absently if not a little sceptically. It was clear the girl didn't like the place. Then why did she spend time here? Upon closer scrutiny, he recognised her as an Irathin. He'd had the liberty of teaching Clou Irathin for the shortest period of time before she'd disappeared in the invasion, but evidently this Irathin had been far more lucky. Their explosive capabilities were known to Andou and damn!
"Are you sure you shouldn't be in shinobi school?" he asked. He had the eventual intention of recruiting her to his team. More labour was always good and it would balance out the boy-girl imbalance a bit.

His eyes! I can feel them on me... Like little creepy crawly's! Lira shivered tilting her head a little. She saw the man's face, and she was correct. His eyes where absorbing her every detail, judgements being formulated. A hint of recognition? If he knew her, then wouldn't he know that she didn't like people? She relised she had been looking at him for longer then intended, and quickly she turned her head the other direction.
"Uh, well yes I suppose I should be. But I can't." Lira told the man through her knees, which she pulled closser to her chest. "I just can't." What would the other students think of her. She couldn't deal with that kind of judgment. What if she had made afool of herself there, as she had here? She would never be able to speak to any of them again.

[Sorry for the wait >.<]
"Why not?" Andou asked, amused. His voice didn't have any intonation that betrayed his amusement, but you could figure out it out from his pauses between words as well as the slight quirk of the eyebrow.
"Do you want to learn how to be a shinobi?" he said. Man, he really was being uncharacteristically patient and slow. But hey, he was desperate. The invasion had caused many families to withdraw their children from the academy. They didn't even have an academy actually because there were just too little kids. By all rights, this girl shouldn't be a shinobi. With what she looked like she should be at home playing with dolls and having tea parties or something, or having her long hair braided and beaded or whatever it was little girls did. Andou didn't know and didn't want to find out.
"Nervous?" he continued, pressing her. "I'm looking for students and you seem like the type." He paused, considering what to say next. Eventually he decided to say nothing at all and wait for her response.

"Because people are wierd." Lira commented. Standing up and brushing herself off. This man was an odd on. He seemed amused that she would hide from speaking. Lira turned her back to him, adjusting the music clip in her hair to hold up som of the hair that had fallen out of place by her mad dash to a hiding spot. "Learn how to be a shinobi?" She mused puting a hand on her chin. She paced back and forth, ignoring theman as she thought. There were few times Lira wasn't nervous around people. Beeing deep in thought about a question that could change your life was one of them. A shinobi? They teach you how to be a ninja. Ninja have courage... I could use some courage. Finally Comming to a conclution Lira turned to face the man to answear him. But her eyes fell to the ground, unable to look him eye to eye. "Yes please sir." Lira bowed.
It was set. She would conquer her fear, sort of. How bad could being a Shinobi be? It's not like she would have to deal with a lot of people... Right?

Personally, Andou agreed. But he wasn't about to tell that to any person on the street and especially not to a child who might blab it to her parents by accident or not. He waited patiently as she traversed the library shelves and could almost see the thought processes in her mind. Of course, not clearly - he was no mind reader. But he could at least see her going from maybe... to yes. At her affirmation he quirked his mouth up a little on the side. That was his version of a smile and the largest one he could do without hurting himself like he'd done earlier.
"Good," he said. "Your first assignment will be at the shoreline, near the Harbor. Meet me there." He glanced at her, hoping that she would change. Those clothes didn't seem that practical. Maybe she needed to pack or something. But he decided to allow her some freedom of choice. Relatively speaking of course, coming from Andou. "Or you can just follow me there now."

“The- the shoreline?” Lira thought that was an odd place to meet. But if that’s what he wanted her to do, who was she to complain? “Yes sir.” She bowed walking towards the creaky doors of the library. The other people there seemed to have forgotten all about her little yelp earlier, and had gone back to their studies. She had found the teacher she had been seeking, and in the first place she looked to. If lady luck wasn’t shining down on Lira when she had been doing her chores earlier, she definitely was now. As Lira pushed open the awful sounding doors into the misty town her glance became down cast. She knew nothing about this man, not even his name. Yet she had accepted to be his student. That seemed vaguely out of character for Lira. But without giving it a second thought she continued on her way to the shoreline. She had seen the look of recognition in his eye. That meant either he knew her, or he knew her clan. Both of those options made him a trust worthy friend in Lira’s eyes.

[[Entering]]
Batosai entered the library as quietly as he possible could. But as he entered, every move he made echoed of the walls. "The library is quieter that usual, thats kind of strange." he thought. So he continued down the hallways and started searching amongst the rows upon rows of books that held knowledge ranging from history to foribidden power. "Where is it?" he quietly mumbled to himself. Batosai searched and searched until he finally gave up. "Where the librarian when you need them." he asked himself. Batosai then spotted Andou from the distance. "Well asking him would be suicide, but eh what the hell." Batosai then advanced towards Andou until he within five feet. But he didn't speak a word, not until he was sure Andou was in a good mood to ignore that fact of him skipping class for the day.
[[Since i wasn't aware of the time-skip, I'm juss going to go with Batosai taking a time out due to his injuries from the invasion, if thats ok with u kouri??]]

Hiru slowly rubbed his eyes as he walked into the library, it felt like he'd been sleeping for ages now. Last thing he remembered was carrying people to safety from a flooding hospital...
"...Mean-sensei? What's going? Where is everyone?"

[[Well, Batosai took a long break due to the injuries he substained during the invasion. Parents took the majority of their students out of the academy so there are hardly any students left. The village is completely reconstructed but it lacks a military power so yea...anything else I dont know bout]]
Batosai walked through the halls, searching for any signs of Andou. "I thought he would be here. I need to get some training done and he is the man to do it." the boy thought. He sighed to himself and then turned and walked out the door and exited the library and turned his direction towards the training fields.
