he watched as she seemed to have a internal struggle with herself. he was just wondering what she was going to do next. when she was suddenly splashing very loudly in the bog next to him.
shaking the energy drink that had splashed in his face off. he turned his head, blinking at the soaked Calypso. eyelids halfway closed, as he gave her a seductive smirk. he lowered his body to her level, swimming close to her
"well, you can see for yourself if you like"
and with that, he vanished below the surface. a dim glow gleaming from below, moveing towards the deeper part.

She blinked as he suddenly disapeared under the yellowish water. With a smirk she dove under after him, swiftly swimming to catch up. Though she was always hesitant about swimming, especially with other people... She was actually an excellent swimmer, better than even most males. Her wings weren't as strong as most females, making it so that she wasn't able to fly, but they were perfect for gliding through water. She was the sea goddess, after all.
She followed his glowing figure, her eyes giving off their own bit of light. If he was able to see through the water enough to get a good look of her, she would look rather different. Not needing her fishes' help, her fins and fur floated freely and beauitfully around her. Under water she resembled a betta fish, or some other fish that had beautifully bright and large fins.
Her paws cupped and clawed at the liquid, catching up to him after just a few moments.

his tail jerked sharply as she caught up with him. turning his body to the left, and quickly circling her once, before his large body pulled to a stop in fromt of her, partly curled around her, he extended his arms allowing him to hover in the water better. his dark figure lingered there for a moment, then slowly started circling her, much as a predator does his pray

She watched him, eyes barely blinking under the water. Her head turned and tilted to watching him as he circled her. Small bubbles floated from her mouth as she held her breath, the caffenine seeming to let her hold her breath for longer.
What was he up too..? An eyebrow raised as he partially curled around her. With a grin she darted forward, her paws landing on his shoulders and pushing him down. Using him as a vault, she torpedoed up through the water to splash at the surface. Her mouth opened, letting out the breath, then gulping in another before she dived back down to meet him.

using the momentum from when she had pushed on his shoulder, he continued back, arching his back, causing him to flip in the water. swimming up after her, only to have her swim right down past him.
continuing to the surface, he broke it just enough o get another lung full of air, before diving back down, tail thrashing behind him, propelling him downwards, till he had come up behind her, reaching his arms out and wrapping them around her from behind, careful not to scratch her with his claws. he nipped playfully at her ear.

She gasped slightly as he engulfed her, causing a large bubble to drift by her face as his much larger body wrapped around her's. She smirked and wiggled against him, but let him hold her. If she wasn't under water she would have purred. Turning in his grasp, she licked his cheek and grinned up at him, eyes still glowing brightly, almost rivaling his.

Tail swaying heavily back and forth, in an attempt to keep him stationary. head tilting as she licked him, he smirked, careful not to hurt her with his tusks, he licks at her neck. his chuckle vibrating the liquid around them. he tightened his grip slightly.

She grinned wider and leaned against him, floating in the bubbling energy dirnk pond for several moments, before her lungs started to burn again. She let out a chuckled response when he licked her, more bubbles floating from her mouth. Wiggling out of his grasp, she once again used him as a vault and darted back to the surface, gasping for breath when her head splashed above the surface.
This time she stayed at the surface, waiting for him to come up too, grinning widely and staring down at the glowing body still submerged below her. Man.. she couldnt remember having this much fun in awhile, since she was a pup.. Just... playing... it was nice.

he drifted up after her, his horn breaking the surface, quickly followed by head eats, then head.
shaking the energy drink from his face. pulling himself up as he floated, and grinned at he
"well now. you are quite the swimmer Miss Calypso, are all those in you're land adapt to swimming?"

She giggled, bobbing up and down in the energy pond slowly, fur glistening with the liquid that clung to it. A paw raised to tap at it's surface, sending a small splash in his direction.
"Some... honestly, it's mostly the males that swim where I come from. The females are more adept at flying... Though I choose the water over heights any day..." She grinned wider. Suure.. she.. choose. Suuuure...

"ah. same" he nodded closing his eyes against the splashes "not to many wide open skies for my kind to fly around in" he gestured up towards the sky, and sure enough, the trees where far to dence to allow much flight.
he swam closer, splashing back at her playfully.

She glanced up at the trees and nodded. She nad noticed the lack of sunshine earlier, when she came into the swamp... Another thing she didn't like. Brighter light was the best way to see her fur glisten and shine. Though... Now it was wet, so it didn't really matter anyway. She giggled and floated back away from him a bit, lowering her head into the energy drink to sip from it. The energy packed buzzing was still vibrating through her head and body, making her enjoy the swim instead of worrying too much about her apperance. She seemed to still have Equis' attention.. so no harm done.
"So... your home is like this? But darker?" Floating on her back now, just enough for her head and paws to stick out of the water.

"much darker" he added. lowering his jaw to gulp some of the energy when she did. twitching his tale to move along with her as she moved away.
"but one gets used to it. espeshally if you have glowing eyes to help"
he paused, shaking his head and pulling it up out of the water. "I could take you there sometime if like"

"Hmm... I wouldn't mind that." She glanced to him and grinned. "It's not too far is it?" Though she didn't mind seeing new places, she sure wasn't going to take a few days out of her busy schedule to go to some icky dark place. Even if the company was... rather intreging.

he was delighted to hear that she would be interested in visiting him home, though an eyebrow raised as she asked about distance.
"ah" he tilted his head slightly, ears falling as well
"well... its not picnic walk... and not short either."
he raised a claw out of the liquid "the Swamp is pretty big"
