Making her way with Vyn down to the grand lobby, Shuura resisted the urge to chortle like a maniac as she reached the lobby and began approaching the ballroom doors. Someone had taken the liberty to decorate the previously pristinely drab complex with ostentatious and obnoxiously colored decorations. Julian was going to throw a hissy fit if any of those remained.
Still, she supposed garish was a nice change from boring. Entering the ballroom, she looked around for food and familiar faces, avoiding the--ew, kids-- and raising an eyebrow at an impressive growing collection of presents in the ballroom. So, it was someone's birthday, presumably.
Another quick scan of the room revealed a familiar-ish pink head and...was that Chloe? She arched a brow at how....well, princessy the soft-spoken lab receptionist looked. She looked pretty, no doubt, her soft feminine radiance even surpassing that of the normally vibrant and attention-garnering Natsuki besides her, but Shuura just never really went for the whole tiara-and-princess-gown sort of thing. Was it Chloe's birthday, then? That would explain why Julian had allowed such a garish festivity to happen in his place. Shuura supposed that an obligatory birthday-wish was in order, but opted to feed herself first. The variety of appetizers were demanding her attention.
Unlike her guardian, Vyn had never been in the ballroom before, not having had the liberty to go off on her own to explore the apartment. Neither did she mind, for she preferred the familiarity of being confined to the shadowy corners of Shuura's apartment. The new place was unfamiliar and a little bit unsettling, but the sight of two new Raevans caught her attention. One had flowing black hair that was even longer and darker than Shuura's; the other was a curiously cool shade of mint green. However, her passiveness remained dominant and, too accustomed with recieving attention rather than giving it, Vyn continued to shadow her guardian despite the desire to get a closer look at the other two, preferring to let them come to her on their own.

We'rika shimmied through the crowd, though taking enough time to smile at all the ladies. He probably came off as a rapist. Ah well.
As he moved towards the bar, he found Natsuki scurrying past hime with two martinis in hand. "Hey... Ya can' make yer own drinks, thas cheatin'! I was only gone--" It was hard to chastize a woman when they weren't paying attention. The Huichol pouted cooly at Natsuki following mainly her a** to her destination. Though his long tapered ears perked up as he spotted a vision in white wtih bright pink hair. ******** the bar! He mozied right back to Chloe probably slack-jawed the whole way.
"Oh wow, Chloe... Yer... Ya look gorgeous..."

Chloe took the drink, looking down at it with intense curiosity. She'd never really drank before, sure a few sips of wine here and there but overall the taste had not really appealed to her. So it was an intrepid look that she took a sip of her drink.
...And found it delicious. She blinked in slight surprise, reaching up to gently push her glasses back along the bridge of her nose. "O-Oh.. this is-"
"O-Oh.." Chloe flushed a little, holding the drink in both hands as the familiar We`rika walked up. "Th-Thank you. It's... Natsuki's th-things.." She shifted a little awkwardly. "I-I've never really worn anything like this b-b-before."

Jae Eun had laid low since she had sent the present flying in the air. A small feeling in her stomach told her that she had been extremely lucky somehow, and she had quietly and quickly picked up Chloe's presents and placed both presents on the corresponding tables.
Chloe's entrace left her.....breathless, and she felt even more embarrased by the simple gifts she had gotten her. She noticed Ravi then, too. He wasn't that hard to pick out actually....but before she said hello to anyone, she decided to get something to calm her nerves. Only...the bar was empty?
The sight of a white chef hat caught her attention, but seeing another girl on his arm, she puffed her cheeks in frusturations, her hands on her hips. Looking around, she caught sight of....a giant thing hanging from the ceiling. Walking over to it, she stared at it. She had NEVER seen anything like it before in Korea.
"um..Excuse me!! Can somebody please tell me what this abstract ceiling fixture is?????" she asked, her voice somewhat raised so as to hopefully attract someone's attention. She crossed her fingers, hoping she had used the right words for once.

Niksia clicked her way over to the hors d'oeuvres carefully, her heels trying their best to be classed as deadly weapons. It was a hard thing to manage, when one was being forever forced to play nice with the floor. She took a little plate and placed a few choice food items on it, she wasn't hungry as such but it gave her something to ponder and play with if she got nervous.
It was easy for her to spot Chloe, regardless of the many people that had begun to fill the room, her pink hair and beautiful dress stuck out a mile away. She looked lovely, Niksia couldn't deny that, and hopefully she was enjoying the party. Guest of honor and all that came with it, Niksia was very glad to hang around the edges and absorb the atmosphere instead.
She wondered where Dr Kyou was, she hadn't gotten a good look at him last time the Lab held an event and couldn't be sure which he was. That was embarrassing to realise, maybe it wouldn't be too much of an issue as the night wore on.
With that thought, Niksia pondered that the night would be overly long if she didn't get a drink of some kind. She wasn't one for anything strongly alcoholic, but something sweet wouldn't go amiss. Maybe once some of the samples of the hors d'oeuvres were tested. Chuckling to herself, Niksia popped a snack in her mouth as she watched the party unfold around her.

Aphismet stepped into the elevator shyly, rearranging his clothes, hoping he wasn't over-dressed... He'd wondered if it would be a fancy party, but for some reason he doubted it. Still, he'd felt that it'd be better to be overdressed than underdressed.
Isi had left for the party earlier; the note stuck to the fridge said so. Aph had had a hard time getting out of work early... He'd been in the middle of a large twelve-people dinner when he'd been supposed to go, so he'd been forced to stay for another hour. At least he had managed to leave before someone else accosted him for assistance.
"Are you sure you wanted to come?" he asked Rivener. Riv had been slightly surly lately.
Rivener frowned over at his guardian. "Of course. If it's a party for Chloe, then Roux might be here." Rivener's mood had darkened slowly over the last two weeks, during which he'd not seen the Icy Frei. All Riv wanted was to get away from Eiry and his million questions for a little while, and see Roux. Hopefully with many people around, Eiry wouldn't spot Riv in the crowd..
Aphismet gulped, and blushed slightly. Mentioning Chloe reminded him that this party would most likely be frequented by lots of people, seeing as Chloe was so well-liked, and Kyou was so famous... Guh, maybe Julian was here too. He frowned lightly in unease. He never liked being around the man, he made Aph feel extra stupid.
The elevator doors dinged open. Riv practically flew out of them, dashing out into the crowd before Aph could get in another word. The Raevan immediately began to look for a spot of blue.
Aph walked out also and looked around, heading for the food counter. He spotted Isi at the pinata, and smiled, waving at his little brother.

Alex glanced over to where the two girls had disappeared and nearly dropped her cup when her eyes lighted on the pink-haired woman. She fumbled with the cup for a moment before slamming it on the table, making sure nothing had dripped out before turning back to face Chloe, her mouth slightly agape. Her lips slowly curled into a wide grin, walking over to Natsuki and Chloe with her arms out, careful not to push We`rika out of the way.
"Semplicemente bella," she cried out joyfully, leaning over to give the woman a feathery kiss on each cheek. "You look beautiful, Chloe," she said repeated in English, her smile earnest. "I hope your day is all you want it to be. And if I can do anything, like, say...provide an escape route," Alex winked and giggled a little, "let me know." The dark haired woman glanced over her shoulder, chuckling as she stepped to the side to allow others to greet the birthday girl as well.
She leaned briefly on Natsuki's shoulder, breathing the amused compliment into her ear, "Bella cincia, this is your doing? You are so very sweet. She looks like an angel."

"Wow! She sure does!" Tyson voiced, trying to be as clear as he could. The young boy had wandered over to where Miss Alex now stood. It was a miracle that he had made it over since there were so many good distractions in his way. There was, of course, the tempting pinata and the glorious tasty treats. What child could ever resist such wonderful lures? Well, it seemed Tyson could! For once...
The tall child had at first, been making his way over to the games. Yet, his plan had been foiled once he laid eyes upon the birthday girl. She looked beautiful! Instead of reaching the first treasure that held so many prizes inside it's belly. The little boy hurried off to where the real treasure had shown herself. Certainly, such a darling lady was in need of more attention than that! This child was here to give it to her too! Maybe he could even get a kiss! Though, that would have to be done far away from Lillian's strong eagle eyes. If she spied him stealing a kiss from the innocent Chloe, surely there would be much to pay for later.
Just like at the Valentine's event, his voice was muffled thanks to all the other people that surrounded the young miss. Althought, instead of calling out like he had done then. Tyson was actually patiently awaiting his turn. The reason for such an unusual personality change? Well...when you have your strict older sister following your every move, you would tend to be on your best behavior too, right?
Indeed, Lillian was following after Tyson. Shortly after his comment, the young lady had arrived behind him. No way was she about to allow Tyson to cause any trouble for the birthday celebrities. They deserved a calm and smoothe celebration, one without all the hub bub from Tyson.

"You snooze, you lose, We`rika... and stop looking at my a**," Natsuki joked, sticking her tongue out at the Huichol playfully. She beamed when Chloe complimented her bartending skilles, but even more when the compliments for Chloe started pouring in from right and left. Not that she did much for Chloe aside from providing the frosting to make an already delicious little cake, that more inticing.
"Yes, guilty as charged. Doesn't she look fab?" Natsuki giggled, looking at Alex with her grey eyes. Like two high school girls gossipping, Natsuki laced her arm in Alex's simply taking in the sights. "Though ninety-nine percent of that beauty is all Chloe."
Catching sight of all the new faces, Natsuki wrinkled her nose in excitement and let out a little squeal to Alex. "Time to get some work done!" Unlacing her arm from her friend's Natsuki hurried over to the DJ stand, and turned the volume down on the music and up on the microphone.
"All right folks! Listen up! Presents on the tables in the back. Food and drink all night long, pinatas galore, and get those dancing shoes ready!" Natsuki announced in her best stage voice, as she popped on her large headphones. "If you've got a request, just come on up and tell me! Let's make this birthday bash a night to remember!"

(( Ok, so here I go. xD Be kind? My first true forum RP. smile ))
Revanica strode on two legs, down the street towards her complex. She had always passed a quiet one along side her left before turning to trot across the street. However with her senses tingling she noted with a dry and thin veil of dissintrest that these humans and various other creatures had gatherings as well.
She prepared to cross along the walk way when she noted the happy chatter from behind. She swung around and watched, unable to hide her hungry interest shining through golden eyes. How did these Gaians 'party'? Her answer was soon revealed to her, but not in any sense she could make. She had never been to parties, or large gatherings except for when she was being worshipped ages and ages ago. Ancient history not of this world. Streamers from the window perch behind the bushes festooned the inside walls. Quite a few people were inside as well as other edibles. She watched quietly with rapture, vagely aware of the shopping bag she holding in her human-shape hands. She heard the announcement of the woman donning on headphones, and leaned in precariously close to the bushes.

Aliena felt the tingle of magic pass over her skin giving her the shivers, magic usually did that to her and so she turned to look at the source. A young man that would have looked great if it weren’t for the awkward cook hat he was wearing, hair problems she guessed, but soon swallow her words as everyone said happy birthday to him, it meant that this was the Dr. Kyou. She mentally noted to give him a visit as well to wish a happy birthday; she still had to find Chloe. Sighing she turned around to face the window, what in heavens was that person doing? Bending slightly over, Aliena poked the glass a couple times.
“You know you can come in…”
She spoke to the person outside, maybe this was one of the guests that didn’t know if this was the right place to be, but if one had noticed the raevans floating about they would have answered their own question.

Revanica blinked, and jerked upright, her hair tumbled unwantingly around her shoulders. She made for the door next to the window and then suddenly it was like the volume was turned up. Inside it was a fiesta of colors and smells. The music pumped through the ballroom and floated by her.
Revanica nodded a thanks towards Aliena and walked up closer. "Thank you, but I have a question. What is this thing all about?" She gestured around the room vagely and she feigned mild curiousity, as if as soon as it was satisfied she would be leaving as soon as she appeared. She started to twirl her hair around her pinkie and index fingers, an unnerving habit she picked up around a century ago from whom she could not remember and waited calmly, looking over the crowd.
It was at that moment that she clearly noticed that they were all a lot more 'dressed' than she was. A pair of jeans and tee wouldn't work here at all. That was of course if she were to stay. Which certainly not, only her criousity wanted to figure out this and then she'd be on her way. Maybe.

Aliena looked the woman up and down, nope definitely not someone invited considering her attire, her eyebrows rose in an arch.
“It’s a birthday party for two very special people. Dr. Kyou and Miss Chloe”
As she said their names, although it was rude, she pointed to each of them
“No if you will excuse me I need to use the washroom”
Damn water.

"Our first dedication comes from yours truly to the two fantastic guys in charge of putting this whole shindig for Dr. Kyou and Chloe together," Natsuki said, putting on some totally glam, wire sunglasses with a rhinstone heart on the bottom of the left. "To get this party pumping, I'm throwing out "Pump It!" by the Black Eyed Peas. Just for my boys, our bartending phenom We`rika and the unbelievably irrestible Ravi."
Natsuki faded out one song, and started up the next. With three flicks of her nimble fingers, the colorful lights started lighting up the dance floor once again. Taking a sip of her water, she watched the dance floor hopefully, waiting for some people to start dancing. There was a certain dramatic flair to Natsuki's DJ performance, something akin to her Cafe Persona, but far edgier and cool. Stripping off her scarf, Natsuki set it carefully on her table, as the room was already heating up.
"I wanna see some bodies on that dance floor folks!"
