xd omg i have read all the posts people more then half the people dont even have a good answer if ur plz make a real statement not the charicter is blue so like it and it owns all tell use why it owns all besides being blue i could make any charicter purple complete red or really white or really black so the color shouldnt matter since u can do that with anyone stressed

listener10 i would like to also say i have all races and there above level 20 so i have seen how they all play.i will say that dark elfs are good at magic and blade but bretons are the most powerful mages and there magic in D. spells can get greater then a drow.also people drows are a character thats special skills are useless later on in the game.they are not even the best at anythang.all magic goes to bretons.sword and blunt go to redguard{hand to hand}i think orcs but can also go to nords.wood elves are best at bow,cats{yes there cats and i dont like spelling out the name}are best at sneak,lizards{also yes they are and the same reason here}are best at locks....ok there u cant just say there the best in the game just because the cool lookin think.ur sounding like a noob..only way a drow beats anyone is if its a vampire sense it gets rid of the fire damage but then agian i nother vampire character would own u{when i mean this if 2 real players at the same level fought the only way a drow would win is a nother drow or as a vamp.god i shouldnt know this much }if u like the drow because of it history which i do its ok but stop going around saying this character is the best because its blue ???wth come on.its a game were lookin at who is powerful not who looks like a orc beat the crap out of a high elf and made him a drow...now i will take ur feed back but dont go saying im a retard i dont have the time .if u want a real argument and not saying dum stuff i would like to see what u have too say.thank u and my hands hurt Well, the main problem with your argument is that yes, characters may start with individual strangths and weaknesses, but it is the player that decides how they are going to develop. I could have an orc whom I train in Restoration and hand-to-hand, that doesn't mean he is still the best at blunt. And I could have a Breton with marksman high enough to beat a Bosmer, so really starting skills don't matter. A large part of this game is aesthetics, so if someone has a favourite race (skills don't really matter in this, as I have stated) saying that it's blue is definitely a valid argument. The drow? That isn't a playable race in Oblivion, unless you are talking about a mod race, which don't really count. Or perhaps you are reffering to the Dunmer, which are the 'blue' race you seem to diss a lot. And for the love of all things, PUNCTUATION WON'T KILL YOU.

A level 10 Dunmer with 50 Blade will have exactly the same proficiency as an level 10 Imperial with 50 Blade. They will be no better or worse than the other. Race does not come into that at all. The Dunmer's abilities don't turn to crap at a high level, and I have absolutely no idea where you are getting that from. And may I quote the guild rules for a moment- Guild Rule 4- Keep down on the chatspeak(bcuz i 4got). The Captain does not like illiterates very much. He doesn't like to explain why, but if you search through the Guild's threads, you might be able to find out. Not that it matters, of course. He can't ban anyone for mild illiteracy without repercussions. If it gets so bad that he can't read it, however, you will get a warning. Continue, and you will be kicked from the guild, and only be readmitted when you show proper spelling.

Punctuation just makes things easier for most of this community to read what you're saying. We're not saying we're better than you because we punctuate. We're just asking that you write in a way which is easier for us to understand.
It's like dressing nicely; we know it's a pain, but request that you do it to preserve the atmosphere and keep the delicate old ladies from fainting into their pudding.
Not that I'm a mod or anybody. ninja

I prefer the Nords because I am Nordic myself (Ukrainian). And they fit my style of play best - Paladin.

Lord Dixanadu The Khajiit are my favourite race. Definitely one of the most nice-looking races in the game, if only for their lack of humanity. They're fast, jumpy, and the best characters for hand-to-hand combat(my preferred style of play). Their night-eye ability saved me from one of the trials in the Nightmare quest many a time. They have a very distinct culture and way of speaking. They also had the best voice actors IMO, and face it: They're just ferking cool.

I go for the Dark Elves since im mostly a mage that uses; Destrution, Illusion and Conjuaration when im at a medium or long range but use blade when in close range or touch spell's and with the dark coloured skin it makes them, just take the part in looking evil.

O and my fav. race would be a tie between the Argonians and the Bosmer. Argonians because lizards are freakin awesome, and Bosmer because I love being an archer!
