Just tell your Fire Lord that I was here to speak with him about our conversation from earlier about join sides." Kazuki said smiling. "Sad Xio, we could have been friends but you should not have done that." Kazuki said leaping backwards with the large heavy gourd and started to head the other way to his Ship to head back to the Water Nation. He waved to Xio and smiled.

Xio waited until Kazuki was away, having four experienced guardsmen tail him in a staggered formation with shifting distance, and two openly escort him. He absorbed the ambient heat into his body, feeling the refreshing effects of having his stamina restored. "I can see why the firebenders of old wished to crush fools like those..." Xio spoke, mostly to himself, before letting his cloak back down around his shoulders.
He sent a page ahead with logs of what happened with Rajin, including Kazuki's name and Xio's reasoning for turning him away. "If the Fire Lord wishes to see me, I will be at my usual spot. Come to me at once if he bids you." Xio turned from the path and walked out of the city proper.
