Man, I've been so busy lately. x__x; I really was planning to enter/promote this contest a little more. But I suppose all I can do is vote now. x 3x; All the entries were fantastic... I'd vote for them all, but that'd be kind of pointless. xd ;

First Choice: K r e e
Reason: I loved the explanation behind it (toddler = learning, etc.) and also think that a cute kid makes a good mascot that we could adapt as needed. (Seasonal outfits, special events, etc.) Plus her huge pencil is just adorable! x_x
Second Choice: nikoobu
Reason: Also a very cool concept! I agree with it, plus that bug-eyed cat had me laughing for a good while. xd I know it's kind of hypocritical for this to be my second choice when I agreed with the concept, but it was a very close second.
Maybe the little girl could have the cat as a pet?... ninja

Reason: This I personally feel is the most 'mascot' appropraite. It is cute, colorful, and you can almost see her painting, getting paint all over her and not minding a single bit. As far as execution goes, great color choice, love the style, and great creativity.
Second Choice: basilisk
Reason: Very creative. I would have never thought of drawing a mascot such as this one XD. Execution-wise, I can see straight off the bat that a lot of time, effort, and thought was put into this. Also, the advanced technical skill of the artist is very clear.

Reason: Awesome concept. Just hands down, having two different expressions. Good execution with them as well. And very nice painting using different hues for shadows and all. Paint spots lack this variation, though.
Second Choice: LostPotencial
Reason: Nice color work an environment concept. Also, I think captures a lot of the feel of art I see on Gaia. And I think bright colors attract good attention. Inkwork could be neater, though, I feel. The loose style is nice, but for a mascot picture, I'd prefer something more refined.

Reason: Very bright and colorful to attract other artists. Plus it has a cuteness factor which almost everyone will like.
Second Choice:toxic` quiddity
Reason:I really think that it has great potential to entice other artists, especially females. Very well detailed and funny too but in a sexy way. Overall, great execution.
