"Sorry...yes, yes..." She kneeled down and placed a hand on the strangers back. She was quite savvy in the ways of healing, but she would leave this one to Val, since it wasn't a life or death situation. "You really did a number on yourself"

Shamira had stopped confusedly when Lorelei had rolled past her, but quickly got herself into motion as she saw the two other gypsies handle her love. "Lorelei? LORELEI!" the gypsy woman's voice was frantic, worry clear in her brown eyes. Shaking the other woman's shoulder, Shamira quickly let her eyes scan over Lorelei - a few scratches, but nothing too seriously.

"Mm..." Lorelei opened her eyes, wincing. There was a rather nasty looking cut on her cheek, and some more bruises were forming, but it was all pretty superficial.
".. ow.... that hurt..." she whispered.
Then she noticed all the people around her, and yelped. "A-ah! Oh, I didn't mean to... mean to fall down... and get in your way... Oh, I'm so sorry..." Her hands rose up to cover her face, which was now blushing furiously.

Silver called Kesali to a halt by tugging on the reigns. "Whoa girl!" She barely managed to avoid running into the wagon ahead of her. "What's going on?" Silver looked around and spotted Val running back toward her wagon, which had been pulled off the road. Leshya'e was kneeling next to a stranger who was lying on the ground with another woman, looking a bit frantic, obviously trying to make sure the first woman was okay. Seeing that the Leshya'e was handling the situation, and Val already knew what was going on, Silver thought she could spare a moment to put Ais in the wagon. She ran around back and pulled down the small step-ladder before running inside and setting Aisrhan on the bed. She didn't want Aisrhan's obviously animalistic features to scare the two strangers. They looked like they had been through enough already, from what she could see. "You stay put, ya hear?" Aisrhan nodded, squeezing the dolly Silver had given her. "Good girl. I'll be right back, okay?" Silver ran back out the door, locking it behind her to keep Ais out of trouble and ran to the women. Slightly out of breath, she came up behind Leshya'e. "Are they okay, Shy? Where'd Val run off to?"

The commotion at the front, which had been minor just moments before, had turned into a practical gathering. Em couldn't see very well from her position in the middle of the pack, and she would have stayed put, except for the caravan had already stopped moving- and Pierre was starting to fuss at the stillness. So Em held the infant up against her shoulder and made her way along the side of the wagons until she came to a stop right beside Whistle Sticks. All she could see was Silver's back, and someone laying ahead, on the road- but she couldn't see who. She tapped Silver with her free hand, banglets clinking together as she did so.
"Silver- what's going on? Why are we stopped?"

Val came out with her healing salves and two paintbrushes behind her ear. She saw everyone crowd around the poor girl.
"Are we that bored now, to crowd around her like this!" She smiled at them. "Can I get in to give her this salve." She looked over to the other girl. "Ah, you must be a gypsy too, I see it in you. May I ask your names, I am Valelldia the leader of this caravan." She started rubbing green gook on the fallen girls cheek. "Keep it on now, it dosn't look pretty but it works wonders and won't allow the wound to scar. Have to keep your face pretty now."

Silver turned around, looking at Em. "I'm trying to figure that out myself. Seems we've got an injured traveler here, and another. I'm guessing a friend of hers. Gypsies, both, by the looks of them." "Are we that bored now, to crowd around her like this!" Val had come back carrying some gooey green stuff with her. Silver decided she'd be better off not knowing what was in it and didn't ask any questions. She grabbed Em's arm and started to walk away so Val could have room to work. "Come on, Em. We'll find out soon enough, eh?" She said with a mischievous wink.
(((Hope you don't mind me quoting you, Pan. Sorry, I forgot to ask you first. >.< )))

"L-Lorelei... My name is Lorelei Ser..." No, she couldn't say her last name! Her voice trailed off into silence, and she shied away slightly from the touch, hands clutching at her torn skirts to keep herself from running away.
"I... I'm not a gypsy... but Shamira is," Lorelei whispered, moving her head a bit jerkily towards the other newcomer.

Em nodded and let herself be pulled away by Silver. As they headed back down the line to their own wagons, Pierre screamed and Em was reminded of something else.
"Where is Ais?" She asked, alarmed.

Val stopped herself noting Lorelei's anxiety. "I am sorry" She handed the salve to her. "Here, just wipe it on your wound really, it's just Calendula and viatamen E. Nothing to be afraid of." She sat at a comfortable distance and sighed a bit.
"I see, her gypsy ways must be rubbing off on you. You seem very gypsy-like as well. " Val said looking towards Shamira. "You two look incredibly tired, where is your wagon and your horse?"
Val looked up, night was starting to fall already? They did get a late start, perhaps it would be good to camp, and hopefully these strangers would feel safe to join them, it looked like they needed rest, food and shelter and the caravan had plenty of that to offer. But, if they were that startled at Val and everyone themselves, what would they think of the Fortunettes? She patted her two paintbrushes that were still behind her ear with some worry at this thought. She wouldn't have to worry, she supposed, it was a good thing she chose to wait for their growth, although animals aren't that intimidating. Oh, isn't this worry always the case when comming upon strangers in the road. Especially near such a backwaters town such as Mulden. But everything has it's hidden magic.
Best to keep the infants hidden for now, I shall tell the others later.

"Shamira would be me." the woman in question looked at the other gypsies slightly suspiciously - you never knew. "And we don't have a wagon, nor a horse. That is to say, we had a horse, but she wasn't fit for long travels.." Shamira let it trail off there, not finding it neccessary to share that the old horse had died. Putting her hand on her lover's shoulder to reassure her, Shamira smiled at the crowd that had gathered.

Lesh got distracted by a tear on the seam of her shirt, "I'm gonna head back to my wagon...I have to fix this before it grows...I can't stand having my clothes un-mended" She jogged back to varekai and brought out her sewing kit, at the same time checking the Anezka was still napping.

Lorelei quietly put the salve on her own face, scooting closer to Shamira. She grimaced - nothing was broken, but she was still sore and bruised from the journey.
We've been running. She wanted to say this, wanted to explain. These people seemed so nice... and they were gypsies, like Shamira. But her nature - and Shamira's caution - kept her from speaking.

Silver looked back at the two women, wondering who they'd be staying with if they should decide to join the caravan, or if Val would invite them in the first place. She heard Em ask her a question, pulling her out of her thoughts. "Hmm? Oh, Ais is fine. I put her in the wagon so she wouldn't scare them... but I do think I should go check on her. She's got to at least be nervous about what's going on. Come with me? I don't think she's met Pierre yet, either," Silver grinned, knowing it would be an interesting meeting between the two darklings.

Em rocked the boy up against her body, hoping the warmth would get him to calm down a little. "That's a good idea." She said to Silver, following her back to her wagon. She didn't think Ais, even with her snake qualities, would want to attack Pierre- hedgehogs don't have many natural enemies.
