Lecta's face described her agony. Pulling her harder would only result in injury. Every second wasted pulled her in so Draku had no time. Holding on, Draku paused. Aiming his right palm onto the sands, he let out a telekinetic blast, scattering the grains of sand apart. Eventually, Lecta was free of the desert's monstrous grip.
"Are you okay?" aks Draku. "We need to leave fast or find shelter."

Her arms werre wrapped around her rips. She let out a weak groan and stared up at him"Y-yeah...I-Il be f-fine..."she smiled weakly and closed her eyes"If I w-wasnt so short...T-this wouldnt have happened..."she weased and stared around. Lifting her feat out of the sand and sighed.

Bothersome storm...
Serobi, stood and observed the current of the wind. Aiming his palm at the direction, he called to his elemetal powers. A soft whisper echoed throughout the desert and stopped the storm withing a one kilometer radius. At that instant, the sand that swirled above him fell to his hair. His actions most likely lessened the force of the storm to where Draku and Lecta was located without even knowing it. Although, it might seem impressive, but this display of power is not focused, making it easy to manipulate the wind without wasting much energy or magic.

The storm died off around his area. Mysteriously, the sand storm blew furiously ahead. Only within a few kilometers has this happened. The source of this was unfathomable. Where had this come from? Whatever it was, it had to be within the boundaries between the killer winds and the calm area. If a creature had done this, it would have the power of elemekenises and the shield from the storm would not hold off for long. Soon, the user of this power will most likely decide to leave and so will the storm shield.
"We must go now before the storm continues once more." orders Draku in great haste.

"A-alright..."she whispered and rubbed her soar ribs"Lets get a move on then. She had stepped forward. The barrier that seemed to be surounding them moved with the small step she had taken"Q-quite strange..."she whispered and stared about"I do this type of magic...But i'm not that good..."she whispered and breathed in a short ragged breath.

Draku paced himself hastily, continuing to follow the eastern direction. So far so good. he was expecting waiting for the storm to return.
"Whomever has done this must have honed his skills to a great extent."
Draku searched and noticed a faint silhouette of someone standing. Eventually, the figure vanished as small amounts of sand filled winds fogged the view.

"This storm..." mumbles Serobi. "Its time I head to Xiphos before I weaken. This spell will hold a maximum of thirty minutes."
From where he stood, two limp figures emerged from the thick sand that reduced the visiblity. Serobi was close to the desert boundaries where he would arrive at the Xiphos border. He could almost feel the waterfall mist.

She collapsed on the soft oasis like grass on the border of Xiphos...A weak groan escaped her lips. Painfully turning onto her back. She rubbed her swollen waist"T-that you for getting me out of there..."she smiled weakly and closed her eyes. Breathing in a harsh breath. She bit her bottom lip and ran her hand gently along her ribs"I may have broken a rip..."she let out a soft laugh and shakily sat herself up on her elbows.

He turned to see that the two figures have escaped the ominous wrath of the raging desert. They were merely seventy yards behind him. Both of them seemed to be in minor agony. However, he was too eager to leave the barren area and didnt want to help as much as he already has. Serobi smirked and placed his leather cap over his head, fitting and concealing his long, pointed elven ears as his long jet black hair fell back into place. As he approached the city border, the booming noises of crowds continously reverberated through the forest. Continuing on, the waterfall mist placed a firm grip on his face. It was so good to get this feeling after his skin dried for several days in the desert.

"I guess we are going to need the city's medical attention. You wont be able to make it there. I'm going to have to carry you...in a gingerly manner." offers Draku and reveals an assuring smile of hope. "Everything will be fine there."
It was a nice escape from the desert and a pleasant feeling to reach an oasis. Disregarding their injuries, Draku was in a state of bliss and congratulated himself for accomplishing a dangerous journey. A sudden question shot his thoughts: What now after this? Where would they head off to and how to stop the raging plague of the merciless death brought by the undead. Perhaps some training would suffice in the city; to prepare himself for things to come. It was a bothersome thought. Draku should, instead, seize his thoughts of the past and dwells on the pleasant future which awaits him in the city. Xiphos, a city of water and seemingly, an eternal paradise in which eveyone seeks to refuge from their daily troubles.

The dirt path's end had lead him to the Xiphos border. There, two patrol guards stood firmly in place and looked out for outsiders. Behind them was a massive barrier structure that was greatly reinforced beyond belief. The walls were probably made of pure concrete which had cubic holes in them whereby cannons were imbedded for means of battle. Serobi approached the patrol guards in a cautious manner. One of them immediately halted him with authority, along with a spear pointed towards his face.
"State your purpose here!" orders the patrol guard.
"I am merely a tourist. I would like to visit the bountiful beauties of this elegant city."
"Name please."
"Serobi Minerva" replies Serobi.
The guard wrote his name on a log sheet and allowed him permission to enter.

Her head layed against his arm as they walked into Xiphos. A weak sigh escaped her lips breathing in short breaths. She let out a weak groan"A-are we almost there...?"she whispered and placed a hand to her stomack. It let out a painfull hungry growl, she flinched, slowly opening her eyes and looked up at him"I-I had no idea you werre that strong she laughed and chewed on her bottom lip"T-try to be a little carefull next time...please.".

"I hade no idea that you were..." says Draku, searching for the proper word. "Delicate."
The guards that stood guard approached them, with a concerning look in his face.
"If both of you want, I could lead you to the hospital." he says, "Where you can get medical attnetion from our 'gifted' doctor"
The guard stood and awaited a response as Draku looked at Lecta, waiting her approval.

It seems that both adventurers have caught up to him. Curious, Serobi approached them.
"What happened?" asks Serobi, "You both arent looking so great. After all, you guys came from the desert." ((sorry that was short))
