HELP NEEDED
KatieInTheBox I need one or more house members from Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Slytherin to give me a hand. It's simple, it's quick, and you help your house out. I need a member, from each of the other houses, to post reminders once a month, about the Dueling Club. You would need to: Once a month, post in your common room thread, a reminder about the Spell of The Week, The Dueling Beast of the Week and about the Dueling Club. and Be on at least once a month to post. If you can do that you got it. Everything on there can earn your house points. I'll make the post if you'd like for your house or you can make it yourself. Just post or PM if you want to help out.   Owl Post Congratulations Garnet 17th
and Slytherin House! Slytherin House was awarded 20 points in the House Appreciation draw, and Garnet 17th won the Grand Prize. She chose the pair of stylish Demonic Anklets, freeing the Gwee and Sno-Yeti to be won by some other fortunate lucky, hard working soul!

After all this time, this "announcement" is more of a teaser. My deepest apologies for not being able to keep to the intended schedule.
My computer though, is back, my remembrall has faded back to clear as all the data was recovered. The not so good news is the announcement of the House Cup winners will have to wait a few more days until the weekend - and some other happy announcements too.
The good news is the Fortune Eggs which have not been handed out to the as yet unnamed top House points winners have jumped in value from 27K each when I picked them up with Muggle money. They are now at 65K in the marketplace --if you sell them. They might evolve to be worth a lot more!
Profound thanks to our Prefects who helped whilst this Head of House and Deputy Head Mistress has had to cope with several crisis and many multitasks in Real Life. I trust y'all had a Happy New Year? And I'm looking forward to catching up. See you this weekend!

MINISTRY of MAGIC OWL POST 
CHANGES at HAVEN
As I am needed much more in the Muggle world then before, and am still reporting regularly to St. Mungo's and imbibing *shudder* healthful potions, I have asked Minerva the Bookwrym to take over as Head of Ravenclaw. (Does she have the perfect Ravenclaw name, or what)? She has agreed to supervise the House Points and Cup, and will be awarding points along with the rest of the Heads of House.
The Ministry of Magic has asked me to accept the job of Minister of Magic, which I have done. I will still manage, along with AccioFunds, the Haven Treasury, and donations are as welcome as house elves at a high feast!
It has been a pleasure to serve as Deputy Head Mistress and Head of House at Ravenclaw, and I know I am leaving Ravenclaw in the best of hands.
I will be visiting the Great Hall during the next week, if you care to leave any comments, and I look forward to seeing you from time to time!

cool cool Summer Banner Contest cool cool We’re having a contest to see who can make the best banner showing Harry Potter characters enjoying summer activities. razz Here’s an example made for one of The Haven’s affiliate guilds by Umi Pryde: Rules:
Send Accio Funds 100 gold in order to enter.
Follow Gaia’s Terms of Service regarding appropriateness of the words/images you use.
It can be as small as you want, but don’t make it larger than what a Gaian signature is able to hold.
