Rain continued to glance up at the parrot, wondering if she had answered correctly. Odd, parrots didn’t tend to be quiet or calm down… ever.
Glancing back down she looked at the man once more. He had helped her, so it was only fitting to help him in return. “As for a plan, your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that I have a list of people that I need to” she paused looking for the correct word, “Attend to.” There was also a person she wanted to see for a fortune, but she felt she had better just list one thing at a time.

"Brilliant!" The parrot chortled. "Then surely you know how to put an elephant in the refrigerator?"

“An elephant? God know why you would want one of those in a refrigerator…” Rain chucked, well at least she was making a parrot happy. She took another second to think before continuing, “Well if we are talking about the same refrigerator then you would have to take the giraffe out, and then put in the elephant, and finally close the door.”

Trei grins; if her mind works anything like his, he's got a bead on who those people are. Hell, if they're going after the same bunch of guys, he'd even give her a hand...
"Ahh... savvy. In all honesty, I'm just trying to get paid so that I can eat, sleep, and be merry for a little while longer. Paying the entry fee for that last tournament really wiped me out..."
Speaking of... Trei's still f*ckin' hungry, and there hasn't been any sign of payment yet.
This is not going so well as he woulda hoped...

"So, hey! The Lion King throws a party, and all the animals are invited, but one of them doesn't show up. Which is it?"

Hear his response she let out a small smile, he had joined the fist of power to get paid… not for world domination. He had joined for the same reason she had. Rain wandered from town to town looking for work. The lucky, or unlucky, day she had gotten a marble had led her here. Now she just wanted to get paid and continue on, world domination was a pain in the a**. And overall just wasn’t her thing. “We seem to be after the same thing…”
Her attention was once again turned to the parrot; it was quite amusing… she was talking to a parrot and even answering his questions. After the next question was asked she smirked, “Easy, how can the elephant attend when he’s in the refrigerator?”

The parrot leaned over to look her in the eye. "So, if you had to cross a river, and you knew alligators lived in the river, how would you get across?"

Great a parrot was flattering her. “Alligators…” she repeated and paused, “I would simply swim across, the alligators would be at the party with the Lion King, that is unless they are in a refrigerator. But even then they wouldn’t be in the river.

And all of a sudden the parrot went crazy, coughing up a marble right into Rain's hands.
It croaked one more time, then flew off to find something else to do.
And Rain would find herself holding a Resurrect marble.

Rain stumbled backwards unsuspected, the marble fell into her right hand and she looked up to the parrot who began to fly off, "Thanks?" She looked back down at the marble, "What an odd parrot, I've never seen this type of marble before"

Now that they were alone she looked up at the man, “It’d be stupid to go separate ways when we are both heading the same way…” She was never good at asking for help, “Want to pair up?” Sliding the marble into one of her inner pockets of her coat she felt like a child with a prize.

[Marketplace, after the trivia game of DOOM]
Trei watches the proceedings with a mixture of awe and confusion; Apparently, their mission had become a kiddie game?
Some of Trei's questions are answered when the bird hacks out a strange new marble; kinda like something out of a bad RPG. What matters, though, is that the girl in front of him has a new marble; meaning she's got the one up on him, to a degree.
Then he hears her words, and can't help but grin. Even in the midst of this, he'd managed to find someone with a kindred spirit... it would be a shame to separate here.
"Sounds like a plan to me... You lead, though. I get the feeling that what's her name didn't like me so much," as he says this, he taps his new glass "eye", " 'cause she didn't give me a whole lot to work with, ya know? Any objectives, any leads, any anything?"

His grin looked like a grin of a person who would bite once you turned around. Rain like it. “What’s her name?” she laughed, but remembered she didn’t know the persons name too well either.
“As for objectives all I want is to make my list of people that I need to tend to smaller. Other then that It’d be nice to make some profit off of these marbles.” That was all she could think of for now, “Oh and I would like to pay a visit to the boardwalk sometime”. If they started from there then they would be bound to run into the goon squad sooner or later. “Sound good?”
