'How beautiful,' she breathed, standing amongst the flowers. This at least explained the heady scent in the passage way. She looked around, searching for Silver, or failing that the way out.

There is a large tunnel across the way, with a rumbling sound coming from it.

She crossed the meadow, heading for the tunnel. The noise is ominous, but as its the only exit she had no choice but to enter the tunnel.

As Sati was about halfway across the field, something emerged from the cave. It stood almost 7 feet tall, and was scaled, like a lizard. It carried a two handed scimitar, and its eyes glowed a deep red as it showed its fangs, snarling a little as it started to walk towards Sati.

She ground to halt, dropping her pack to the ground swiftly, bending and pulling up her pant legs to pull out her Sai's that were stashed in her boots. She stood upright again, twirling them and going into a ready stance, one foot in front of the other, her knees slightly bent.

The creature continues to advandce on Sati, growling and making odd clicking noises as it shows its teeth, one hand reaising the Scimitar over its head.

Defence or offence, she wondered, eyeing the exit behind the creature. Maybe if she rushed it, she could overcome with the advantage of surprise. She leapt forward, both Sai's pointing downwards.

The creature jumped back, dodging the Sai's, backing off to stand in the tunnel mouth. At the same time, the tunnel sati had come out of was closed off by a large stone slab.

She landed, crouching, before running at it again;
'Get out of my way!' she shouted, taking a swing at it.

The creature blocked with one forearm, a metalic ring echoing through the meadow as it intercepts the blades, not budging an inch.

's**t,' she said, falling back a little, shaking her hand that had jarred when she struck the creature. How could she beat it? It shook off her attack like it was nothing, and she could not use her power. She narrowed her eyes;
'You will not get between me and Silver,' she straightened, glaring at it.

The creature smiled again, and grumbled something in an odd tongue, waving its sword around.

'Let me pass!' she demanded, furious now. It was standing there, blocking her path back to Silver. She turned, walking away. It wasnt actively attacking her - maybe she could leave another way, after all she could not beat it.

The creature sat down, reaching into a pouch at its side, pulling out a crystal globe that glowed with the silver light of the moon, passing it back and forth between its hands.

She walked around, realising that she was shut in here and the only way out . She found herself back in front of the creature;
'What the?' she blurted out, walking forwards one pace.
'Why do you have that?!' she pointed, her voice shaking.
