Maybe he forgot to mention the fact that Florien wasn't having them pay anything. He purred and chuckled lightly, gently picking up the others violin and checking it for injuries. "It seems to be fine. Dont worry. The case is there for a reason." Gently he handed it back to it's owner.
He hadnt completely blown off the previous conversation as he chuckled at the others last words. "I dont know how I'd have anything to do on how nice the day is. Though, Im sure it cant go wrong. We're both here. As for payment for Florien, Im sure youre cute smile will suffice."

Still a little flustered, Jigue grabbed the violin from Basil with relief, smiling slightly to him. "Thank you. And you're right, I shouldn't have worried. I don't know what came over me..," he said, turning away as the blush burned across his face again. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't think it wasn't so visible, but he had been told before that against such a pale complexion, it was very noticeable.
"A-Anyway, we should get over there soon," he said quickly, not wanting to dwell on feelings he didn't quite understand. If he got his mind off of things but what was currently happening, he should be just fine. But how come it was so difficult to do that? These were the kinds of problems posed when one is so silent most of the time, and in a way, he wished he could be as outgoing as Basil was.
There he went again. Stop thinking! he snapped at himself as they continued to the bakery. He knew it was close, as all the familiar scents and feelings of where everything was situated in the landscape was just like yesterday. There were more people around this time of day, and no wonder! It was great to be able to have fresh bakery treats for breakfast, but it still made him nervous, though it was much more drastically reduced with Basil here. He tried to brush it off, thinknig of yesterday and how nice everyone had been at the bakery. It was different, and he knew there was no point in worrying about it.
As Basil answered, Jigue caught a breath in his throat. He had heard him after all, even with all the commotion he caused! He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but as he finished what he was saying, he was sure it couldn't be bad! But... did that comment mean that Basil liked him, too? Grrr, stop it with this! I shouldn't be thinking about all this! If it happens, it happens! There's no use wondering 'what if'... he scolded himself, but his blush remained. "Are you sure about that? I could pay!" he stuttered slightly. Before he knew it, he was sidling up to Basil's shoulder and leaned his head on it. "If you think it's okay," he murmured, smile spreading on his face. He couldn't help it, the comment kept repeating in his head, and it made him happy.

The other's blush was so cuuuuute! Made you just want to snuggle and love on him all night. <3 The cat's tail flicked as he chuckled. When the other feline was up against his shoulder, he wrapped an arm around the others waist, pulling him as close as possibly comfortable to still walk. Gently he nuzzled the others hair a bit before placing a light kiss on the others hair, murmuring, "So cute."
As they approached the bakery he held onto the other feline as they entered. Florien spotted them almost instantly as he had been expecting them. He shuffled about and grabbed the basket, taking it to them. He was a bit busy so he just smiled and told them to have fun.
Basil just purred and nodded, "Thank you." As the coon hurried off to tend to the customers. And thus, once again, the to felines were back on outside on their way to the beach.

Jigue's blush was very vibrant now as his heart pounded in his chest. He knew he was still being hopeful at this point, as he knew that Basil could be rather affectionate, but he knew those thoughts could also be easily wrong. He held a squeak of surprise in his throat, maintaining the stillness in the air. He was very happy at the moment, and in a way had hoped they never arrived to the bakery for fear of leaving Basil's sideways embrace. He didn't dare speak, thinking that if he did, he may ruin the moment. But this was okay, he was content how things were right now. Was there really any way to express his feelings in words, anyway?
As they entered the bakery, Jigue was surprised to find that Basil's grip never faltered its grip. With a start, he heard Florien moving to take the basket to them and Jigue quickly lifted a hand to cover his face, feeling the heat from his blush before it even reached his fur. "Th-Thank you, Florien!" he exclaimed through his fingers, hoping he didn't look too ridiculous.
As they exited, Jigue sighed, hoping he didn't embarrass himself. This was just the sort of thing that he was trying to avoid by not thinking! But he couldn't help it, he was too happy! Not only that, he was infatuated with Basil. He knew it and couldn't deny it any longer, but knew he would be unable to say so, at least for now. I'll show him in the song I wrote for him. I'll play it on the beach, he considered, gripping the violin's handle tightly again.
"Basil, how far is the beach by foot?" he asked aster a pause, trying to regain his composure though his blush was still quite visible. "I've only ever been driven there." He didn't mind the walk; in fact, he preferred walking there, as it gave him more time with Basil, though he knew he wouldn't be separated from him on the beach.

"Oh, not far." The cat purred. "A few minute walk. Ten minutes or so." Smiling Basil rubber his cheek against the others, though gentle. He WAS loving, but he found the others quite attractive and soo keyoot <3.
He was oddly attached to the other feline even though they hadnt spent a ton of time together. He was just adorable when he blushed and he was almost irresistible. Purring, the cat's tail swished slightly.

Jigue grinned once more, content on the answer that was given. He didn't get to walk around much like this, mainly because he would have to be incredibly careful not to run into anything but also because he wasn't comfortable taking a stroll with many people. He rarely got out, and the times he did he wasn't usually out for long. This was a welcome change, as he had been meaning to do something like this, and it was made all the better being with someone he truly cherished, even after such a short time knowing him.
It was odd; Jigue rarely got attached so easily. In fact, he was sure he had never warmed up so quickly in his life, but at the same time, he knew it was impossible not to. Basil was just so warm and welcoming, and he never saw Jigue's blindness as a handicap; he included him in everything that he did on a regular basis, even things that Jigue was sure he couldn't do.
His tail swayed happily as they walked, and the air smelled fresh; he could already smell the salt in the air from the ocean, and felt himself get excited over that fact. "There must be some pretty flowers around here, I can smell them," he stated, still leaning into Basil though lifting his head slightly. "And the ocean; I can hear it!" he laughed, ears twitching to the faint sounds of the water crashing ashore. He gripped Basil's arm tighter as he held himself back from jumping, "I haven't heard it in years!"

Basil couldnt help but chuckle as they reached the edge of the town where the beach started and purred, tail swishing. Yep, Jigue was adorable! Grinning the cat nuzzled against the other feline pulling him into a full hug. "You're just so cute!"
Yeah, Basil was attached and it would remain so for pretty much forever, He loved the other cat so much. <3 Purring, he released Jigue to a half hug again as he started to lead the other, picking a flower on the way. "Is it these flowers you smell?" he held out for Jigue.

"Oh!" Jigue gasped as he was pulled into an unexpected hug, furious blush returning once more to take over his face. He would normally have been embarrassed over it, as he was before, but it was just Basil now and, well... he liked it! After regaining his bearings, realizing what was going on, he managed to lift his arms up and return the hug, nuzzling his head into his chest. He didn't know how to respond to the comment Basil made, but he hoped his actions showed him that he was grateful!
After walking a bit afterwards, Jigue managed to steady his quick-beating heart with a couple of well-trained breaths of air, making sure to conceal it from his friend. He tensed his muscles slightly to keep himself from shaking (which he normally did when he got too excited), but had almost pulled a muscle in his shoulder when he flinched to Basil's returning voice. He didn't need to pause to make sure of the answer, as he could immediately smell the sweet scent the flower gave off grow stronger when he brought it to him. "Yes, that's it! They smell so good, I sometimes wonder if they're edible or not!" he laughed, taking the flower. "Thank you..."
He felt the concrete give way to sand under his furred feet, and at once he knew that they had arrived. He stopped for a moment, almost unsure of what to do, before going further on in to feel it fully. He giggled; the sand felt so weird under his bare feet! "We're here!" he sang, reaching down to feel the sand in his hands. He didn't remember the texture of the sand, and reliving the experience from scratch seemed odd. It felt like he hadn't been here before, even though he knew for a fact that he had. Could it have been because with Basil here, it was like a whole new experience? But then, why did everything here feel so new?
He remained crouched down in the sand, violin released and to his side. He seemed a little shaken by the forgotten memories, wondering what had happened. Why couldn't he remember? It didn't make sense, and it worried the cat.

Basil purred and smiled. He crouched next to Jigue as he watched the other mildly intrigued. "You thinking of something?" It looked like he was a bit confused. Gently he drew in the sand and hopped forward a bit as he spotted a seashell. He had a shell fascination. It was one of the things he liked to collect, he kept them onto of his book shelves an such.
Purring he moved back to Jigue and took the others hand gently and placed it on his palm. "Sea shells are way cool. There's quite a few around today. This is the best time to get them." He grinned, tail swishing as he looked around spotting them in the sand. It was true, it was low tide and it was fairly empty beach because it was decently early, though he would have imagined people would have come early because of how nice the weather was.
"You're weather prediction was right by the way. There isnt a cloud in the sky." Purring he placed a light kiss on the other feline's cheek.

Jigue snapped out of his thoughts, though his face still showed that he was unnerved. He hadn't thought about it in years, but now he realized how much of his life he just couldn't remember. Early life for him was gone, seeming like there was not a trace left in his mind, and anything beyond that was hazy. He only could remember clearly the times he would just lock himself up in his room in his depression and ignore the world as it went 'round, but he couldn't remember why. Something was really wrong here...
However, he tried to mask it with a small smile and a reply, "Yeah, a little. Nothing important." It was a lie, of course, but he didn't want Basil to worry about it. It was his burden right now, even though remembering whatever it was would probably be worse for him.
As he was about to get up Basil returned to him, grabbing his hand and placing a shell in it. Jigue was intrigued with the small shell, fingering it to get an idea of how it may look. It was very smooth, much more than he thought could be found outside. The ridges on it displayed a fan shape, and it didn't feel broken at all. "This is really nice!" he gasped, rising to stand by Basil's side with a few steps. "They're all over? Really?" He felt around with his feet in the sand, but there were none that he could feel were nearby. However, he knew the beach was expansive and this was just a small part of it; they weren't even near the ocean yet! "Let's go find some more!" he chimed, trying to get his mind off of the empty space in his mind.
Honestly, he was worried he was losing it. He was afraid that, at this rate, he would lose everything. If there was so much of his life that he couldn't remember, what if he one day forgot today? Or even yesterday? They were so important to him, he couldn't stand the thought of it. When he thought about it, he realized he didn't even know his own age, and he couldn't very well guess, either.
Luckily, before he delved into depression any further he was snapped back to reality by Basil's voice. "Really? Not one?" he asked, surprised but smiling. "Good! Maybe that's a good sign for times to come!" He didn't want to ruin the day, he would think of all this later. He could always lock himself back in his room so he could try to remember it, but for now he would try to suppress it. He didn't want to worry Basil...

The cat's ears lowered slightly... He hoped this hadnt been a bad place to bring the other feline, normally the beach was good place to take people. not that he did it often xD. His worry was only visual, so Jigue couldnt tell.
Purring he started to lead the other to where the water's edge was. The sand had changed from the warm and dry to the mildly cold and wet, sort of firm like. His tail flicked as he let his own toes touch the water, though he would give Jigue the option. Leaning down he picked up another seashell and handed it to the other feline with him. "See? There's another one!" He grinned. It was a different type this time, it was one of those snail like shells that normally held hermit crabs, though Basil made sure the shell was empty before giving it to Jigue.

Jigue flipped the shell around in his hands unconsciously, trying his best to forget about his worries. However, it seemed the more he tried to forget, the more they pushed to the focus of his mind. He needed more mental discipline, but for now he should just focus on the moment instead. Whenever he got lost in his thoughts it never turned out good and he knew it.
He was a little startled when Basil led the two of them off towards the water's edge, but quickly recovered and followed closely. The wetness of the sand made him giggle slightly, the texture so different yet it tickled as it sucked his feet in slightly. He was surprised when the tide lapped at his feet, and jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of the water, accidentally releasing Basil's hand.
He wasn't scared, though. He had just been a little startled, even though his smile was still vibrantly apparent, and he knew Basil wouldn't leave without him. At the return of Basil's voice, Jigue began feeling around with his sensitive feet once more for a shell around him. He thought he felt something, but if it was a shell it had been buried a few inches below the surface of the sand, and he had gotten distracted from digging it up.
He had grabbed the second shell Basil had handed to him, feeling the spirals as it twisted into a decked home for a crab. He giggled again, feeling that it was still wet and yet just as smooth as the first one. "It's pretty!" he said gleefully, pocketing it quickly with the first and taking a few steps out into the water.
He bent down and ran his fingers through the water, not seeming to mind that the legs of his jeans were getting soaked. He kicked a little in the water, always finding it fascinating how gravity seemed to differ in the water so much than the air around it, even though they occupied the same space. He loved the feeling of the salty water on his feet and through his thick fur, and it really cooled one down. "Do you like swimming, Basil?" Jigue asked as he rose back to his full height, face still turned to the water all around them.

Jigue was soo keyoot! Basil couldnt help it as he lifted his skirt a bit so it didnt get went and moved to hug the other feline again. "You're so cute!" It was so hard to resist the other. Purring, the cat's tail swished behind him as he held Jigue.
He wasnt a big fan of salt water which he soon realized when the water lapped a bit higher than he wanted.., He released Jigue and stepped back for a bit shallower... "Oh, well... Im not a huge fan, though it's definitely nice to chalk. Im not a big fan of the salt water, though I dont swim much as is... I love the beach though. "

Jigue's feet nearly slipped out from beneath him as Basil latched on, but he caught his balance with the other cat's help, gripping onto him as well. As if on cue, his blush appeared once more across his face, however he didn't seem to notice this time. He didn't care! "Y-You really think so..?" he asked, voice coming as a squeak to his ears. That would've been embarrassing, too, if he had thought Basil cared about such things.
He stumbled slightly as Basil scooted back, trying to follow him. As the water weighed down his pant legs it made it difficult to move very fast, as he soon found out that he probably should have rolled them up. "Well, that's okay. I don't swim either. I don't... know how," he explained, blush still evident.
He finally reached Basil's side again, pants soaked up to the knee in water. He didn't mean to wander off that far, but he got lost in the moment. "When... was the last time you came here? Do you remember?" he asked, still unnerved with the fact he couldn't remember the first time he had come but still interested with Basil's.

"Yes, I think you're adorable." The cat kissed the top of Jigue's head happily. "Would you care for some lunch or something before you decide to soak yourself?" He meant it teasingly and friendly, he had found it very cute that the cat had gone into the water.
"As for my first time here... it was when i first moved from England. I remember it pretty clearly." It was only because this was one of the scene's he drew when drawing most often... He had been in awe of the world at that moment... It had been a sunset, een though he had been by himself, it was still beautiful... Maybe he'd be able to share the sunset with someone this time...
