I have always been into the dark side of things! In the 2nd grade when we went to bush gardens every one went in bright colored shorts and shirts but i liked the way my friend Jo's older sister dressed so i wore all black, Black pants and black long sleve shirt, every one laughed and i beat the sh*t out of this one girl for calling me a poser azz sl*t! Then i began hanging out with Lizzi, Jo's big sister, she took me shoping with her for the "Gothic" clothes and she got me into Manson and a lot of awesome bands! After she died, on oct 31, 2003, I waz so depressed and i began to cut myself! Ever since then i have been facnated by death and blood! Up to this day i cant stop cutting my self! I donno why! I have my girlfriends name carved into my leg! Along with the crip sign and the anarchy sign also! Like i told that one girl that i kicked her azz "Hate me if you wanna love me if you can but next shut the fu*k up!!!" *Now I walk off singing the Elmo song!*

I was always this way, I just never knew what to call myself up until middle school. xd I was doing some research online oneday and I eventually went on a tangent that lead me to reading about the Goth culture, and I realized "Oh, that's what I am!".
It was self-realization. biggrin

FallRaven For me, I think on some level, I always was. Even when I was a little kid, my favorite movies weren't crap like.... oh, I don't know, Cars and Open Season (they weren't out then, I know. It's an example), they were Nightmare Before Christmas, Night of the Living Dead, so on. I've always been a dark, dark little boy. I laugh when people are crushed by Lifesavers trucks. I once wrote a paper on my dream house in fifth grade....... cracked stone, chains and torches hanging from the ceiling, coffin for a bed, you get the idea (I still want that damn house). Always wore dark colors, couple years ago just stuck with all black. Wrote weird stories, the hero usually ended up either being dead or evil in the end. Edgar Allen Poe was my frickin' idol since elementary. Basically, I've always been. Just recently realized it, though. My fave movie when I was growing up was the nightmare before christmas too! (I also loved the first two batman films, and the spawn comis...... hmmmmm explains alot)

The thing that had made me gothic was something tragic thats going on in my life that is very hard for me to go through. My parents are getting a divorce and I cant stand the fact that they are. Everyone at my school now knows cause of a kid named Cody who got on my nerves. I had came to school gothic before so he was all like "why are you gothic?" and he said a lot of hurtful things. even though hes emo too I would think he wouldnt really be that way. so i stood up nose to nose with him and just said, "you know what. im dressed like this for a reason. my parents are in a divorce so i dont want you screwing up my life here." i said all of that with tears running down my face. everyone just looked over at us. when i was done saying everything i had to say i just fell to my knees crying with my friends all coming around me comforting me. cody just stood there looking down at me thinking it was the sadest thing he'd ever seen. so now i pretty much hide in the shadows of the school. the guy i like now comforts me with what happened that day cause he sat next to me and didnt know what to think of it. so im goth because of my parents divorce. every time something comes up of it i start crying. as a matter a fact right now i can feel tears building up in my eyes right now.
that was my story...

I was into the gothic stuffers since I can remember, which would be around age eight.Anywho what sparked my interest in it were various cult movies with gothic fashion thrown in,that and my older friend tif was gothic so yea. There was that and that I've never fit in anywhere, especially at school and such.I was made fun of constantly at school and bullied.I was strangled multiple times on the bus and in the halls,so yea.Anyway I think what really made me gothic though,I'd have to say, is the loss of my love Jen when I was fourteen. We'd been together since we were four.We had been friends from four to 6, then from 6-8 we had that whole cute kid love thing going on.At 8 I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend and she said yes (both of us were bright red in the face when this happened) then from age 8 to 14 we were a couple. We had loved each other since we were 6 til then. She died in my arms on our anniversary,anyway....I'll be over here.. -hides in the corner-

Well my parents were always crazy and fighting all the time, and while I had to be in that enviornment, my mom picked out all of my clothes for me. Till 8th grade! pastels, cordoroy pants, etc BLECH! They finnaly got divorced with a big fight ending with the police....I got to stay with my mom, my life and pick out my clothes for high school. I couldnt stand all the department stores except basics, so I passed but Hot Topic and I liked alot of the band tees sincce I had found alot of metal and 'headbanging' music. I spent hours in there getting alot of what I needed on sale, and had a coupon. Now I make alot of my clothes and still continue the life style I perfer, my mom is fine with it, but everyone else is like, 'oh there goes the goth child.' but I dont mind, its who i am.
