Anael De Ezra "Jesus s**t-kicking Christ!" Ezra dropped to her knees in praise and grabbed the steel-toe boot. She quickly removed and tossed aside one shoe and put the boot on. As she pulled her socks up around the top of the boot, she noticed the footprints and disheveled leaves, and froze. She looked around for any other signs, and shuddered. With the agility of a drunken cow, she shimmied up the nearest tree after about six attempts (and scratched her arms, legs, and neck up nicely, not to mention bruising her butt). There was nobody in the nearby trees, but she couldn't see very far in the flurrying snow. She jumped down, landed on her unfortunate butt, and her cellphone flew from her pocket and landed in the nearby snow. "Time to save someone, cause at this point, I don't think I'm saving myself." She muttered to herself, glancing at the footprints again, and picking the cellphone up. She flipped it open and glanced at the names on the contact list, and dialed Eiki's number. "Get your a** and slam it, Janet, s**t, goddammit..." She chanted to herself, trying to think of her favorite cult movie as her heart was pounding and she waited for him to pick up... ((PS: 500g to whoever guesses which cult movie and specific scene this references.)) The Rocky Horror Picture Show and up...the scene where they're singing Dammit, Janet?

"Oh, hi Ezra! One second, I'll check." Eiki stops to look at the phones screen for a second. "Wait a second, why am I looking at the phone? I know where I am." Eiki puts the phone back up to his ear. "Yea, Ezra. I'm right in the northern part of town, any further and I'll be getting out into the woods, I didn't need a phone to tell me that. Did you want me to head your way and meet up with you or something?"

Inny drooled as she tried to gain focus again. Sh though she heard someone talked and blinked her eyes slowly. Please tell me I'm dreaming again that this is just one of those stupid dreams I have when I stay up way to late a watch stupid horror movies. she thought to herself. Blinking her eyes some more she focused in her surroundings and tried to speak.
Inny coughed loudly clearing her throat,trying to make intelligable sounds but all the was coming out were gruggles and sputters. Inny sat up and swallowed hard. Speak damnit speak she screamed in her head. Her head had other ideas though and pounded harder. Inny grabbed her head in agony and tried to rise from her spot on the ground. She rose the world spinning around her a nd a deathly yell coming from her mouth. She fell to the ground again with an auidable ouff.
With the wind knocked out of her the voice that was lost came back and she wimpered "head owwwy" and closed her eyes.

Eikichi Taro Stalth "Oh, hi Ezra! One second, I'll check." Eiki stops to look at the phones screen for a second. "Wait a second, why am I looking at the phone? I know where I am." Eiki puts the phone back up to his ear. "Yea, Ezra. I'm right in the northern part of town, any further and I'll be getting out into the woods, I didn't need a phone to tell me that. Did you want me to head your way and meet up with you or something?" "No, no, look where I am and look east." She mumbled. "The sniper's there. He's due north of you. This is a warning. He could shoot any round now, and those sniper rifles have quite a range. I suggest running for your life, and we warn anyone else near us and get the hell away. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, I don't know..." She whimpered a little.

Suki shivered. I'm going to die from lack of... Something. She dug through her pockets, finding a broken chocolate bar, a cell phone, a pack of mints with a few left, lint, some rubber bands, her wallet, and a stick of gum. Opening the chocolate bar, she grimaced. Am I supposed to live long on this stuff? Sliding a bite into her mouth, she looked at the phone. I don't think I even have service out here... But, to her suprise, she did. No one at the news station could help me... Speaking of which, if I come out of this alive, I might just make a story out of this. But, anyway... Who to call? ... I know! I'll call Inny! Inny was a good friend of Suki's, if not a little... Odd. But that was what made her fun to hang around her. Never predictable! Dialing up the number, she cleared some snow from a spot under a tree and sat down, waiting for an answer.

"There has to be a way out of this." Come on Eiki, think, think... what could we do to keep from getting anyone killed right now? "I can't just let you sit up there and die without trying to do anything. And I'm definitely not going to just run away." He leaned against the nearest thing that was able to be leaned against and waited for a second.

Inny felt something vibrate in her pocket which was now resting over a sensitive part of her body. mmmmm she groaned scrunching her eyes tighly closed. Inny just layed there enjoying the soft ground and the nice low vibration.
after a few seconds Inny realized it was her phone vibrating and fumbled for her phone. she found the small deice,took it out of the pocket,flipped it open and mummbled "whaaat,whos thhhhhere?" all the while keeping her eyes closed and not moving her body except to hold the phone and talk.

No matter which direction I go, I'll still be too close him, and I'm betting his sniper rifle can reach me in any direction I move. You might as well write your eulogies for me now. Look, call me a sacrificial lamb, everyone near here had best get on the move. Unless you've got a better idea." She shivered in the cold, her eyes getting rather watery.
