But I need to fully master the languages, I either need to master Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, and Tagalog or I have to learn all the dialects of Chinese... I'm about halfway there... Tagalog, Chinese and English were my first three languages. Then I took Spanish and now I'm in Japanese.

I'm trying to learn Korean.
About languages, I can sorta speak Tagalog.
But i'm not very fluent. D:
I'd love to take classes for it though.

So I could understand what my relatives are talking about when we have a family reunion........... hey those are the languages i wanna learn too! tagalog is the priority tho so i can speak at family parties. but the rest is so i dont need subtitles to watch dramas. lol.

Spanish is a difficult language to learn but they all think its easy unlike Japanese which is an easier language to learn which I've found out.. XD

It goes like this: if you know only the following languages, you can get around in most places of the world.
English (US, Canada, Ireland, UK, South Africa, Philippines, Australia)
Spanish (Philippines, Latin America and South America, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Italy)
French (Canada, Europe, Cambodia)
Mandarin Chinese (China, Taiwan, Japan if you write whatever you want to say with Chinese characters/Japanese kanji, possibly Thailand)
Katakana syllabary of Japanese (for people planning to tour Japan, knowledge of Katakana will greatly enhance the experience)
And since this thread is supposed to be about Japanese, go and learn Japanese for the heck of it, too. razz
