Thana sticks out her tongue, then rolls onto her feet, already missing the warmth from Marm's body. She prances around the room, trying to remember where she had put her scarf, then finally found it tucked underneath the armchair in the corner. Flipping it around her neck, she then stands in the doorway, stretching out into a playful position.

He smiles and walks languidly toward the door. He arches an eyebrow.

For a few moments, Thana just stared at Marmaduke.... But then, she butted her head lightly against his, then laughed, spinning around and racing towards the back door.

Thana bounds out the back door, still laughing. She skids to a stop, however, as the snow envelops her once more.
"Whoop-!" She yelps, floundering in the white powder.

He laughs and follows her. "You should learn how to walk in snow. Spread your weight out so you don't sink as much."

At the top of the stairs, he'd abruptly picked her up in a fireman's carry. Now in the living room, he sits down on the couch, letting Thana down gently in his lap. He wraps his arms around her.

Thana slips her hands around Marmaduke's neck, resting her head on his shoulder. She kisses his cheek briefly, a look of pure happiness settling on her face.
"I love you, Marmaduke..." She whispers, burying her face into his neck.

"I love you too, Thana." This is pure bliss. To have Thana, the woman he loves so dearly, so close to him. He can smell her hair, fragrantly sweet like exotic flowers. Her skin is like cinnamon. "You're so beautiful," he murmurs against her neck.

Thana inhales deeply, nuzzling Marmaduke's neck in the silence that followed his comment. She believed him when he said she was beautiful... She was different, now, and he still thought as highly of her as before. It was amazing, to be able to sit here with him, embraced in his arms.
