Kalile Alako Fairgrass I wanted to marry Erik from The Phantom of the Opera when I first read it. And when I second read it. And third and fourth ... I always preferred Raoul, actually. I'm like the only person in the universe that likes Raoul from both the book and from the movie. Lessee... Mayland Long Tea With the Black Dragon Raoul Phantom of the Opera Dustfinger Inkheart Sebastian The Marvelous Misadventures of Sebastian < One of my first and longest lasting crushes, along with Taran Wanderer. I can't remember specifically Every single shy nerdy person in every single book. I have to say I'm with you all the way for Dustfinger, though I like him more in Inkheart than in Inkspell.

Oh yes, I definitely have. Let me see, where to begin...
Richard of The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind. heart Tom of the same series (he's very late in the books, Naked Empire or so I think) heart Faramir of Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien Dustfinger of Inkheart by Cornelia Funke heart heart Bill Weasley of the Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling heart Sirius Black of the same series (heh heh ...) heart Wes of The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen heart
And probably more, but that's all I can think of right now. XD I've had lots of crushes on video game characters too... but let's not go there. blaugh

Honestly, I have no idea if I've ever had a crush on a literary character. Yes, I've been crazy about characters, but that's different. When I read, I get so into the story that I feel like I am the main character; this leads to me feeling whatever the characters are feeling for the the other characters. So if they hate somone, I hate them too and so on.
But, if I've ever had a real crush on a character, it'd have to be on Beast in Robin McKinley's Rose Daughter. It's a retelling of Beauty & the Beast, but it's my absolute favorite retelling, not to mention one of my favorite books.

My memory's a bit blurred at the moment, what with staring at the computer screen for too many hours.
But I do remember Gilbert Blythe, from Anne of Green Gables. I remember liking several guys from the Mediator series, but I can't remember which ones...it's been a while since I last read the series.
Oh, and I liked Tsukasa and Rui from the manga, Boys Over Flowers/Hana Yori Dango

I have had exactly one crush on a fictional character, and it was (and still is) on Ilias from Martha Wells' The Fall of Ile-Rien, which is an excellent series that no one I know has read.
I would like to add, however, that I really wish I'd had a crush on a Shakespearean character, because that is incredibly awesome.

I can't say I've had a crush on a fictional character but I can say that there are some that if they were real I probably would.
Fred and George from Harry Potter Warren from Sword of Truth Sirius Black from Harry Potter and Mat from Wheel of Time.

I have found a new hero to crush upon in the world of fiction: Richard Sharpe from the books written by Bernard Cornwell. Another example of my love for historical fiction too since the series takes place during the Napoleonic War.
