Abel shook his head slightly in response to Kaori's helpless glance. His shoulders sagged a bit, feeling defeated. ANd now that the adrenaline had stopped pumping, his side throbbed, but he wouldnt let them know that. He lowered his head to his hands, rubbing his forehead lightly with his pale plams, his wlven ears sagged in defeat.
"I, I dont. .. know, Im sorry. . . "

As the answer hit him, Abel's head shot up out of his hands, his ears stood tall and attentive, yet strangely, his face stayed so blank, as discouragingly as always.
"I know, Kaori. We need to get her to your house, or shade, of some type."

Abel moved slightly closer to the vampire, moving her gently to his back, grumbling something to the extent of, 'Why didn't I think of this before?" Abel stood, the girl draped across his back, and as smoothly as he could, he trotted in the direction of Kaori's house.

((good point, alright, should her intro be coming into the building he's at? maybe its the church's main meeting building?))

Kaori jogged after Abel, wanting to help him with the burden of the girl. THough she suspected that he would not thank her if she tried to ease his load somehow. As they reached the edge of the shade that the woods provided, Kaori remembered what Abel had said about the girl needing shade.

"Abel, just a moment. You said she needs shade, right? The only shade between the edge of this forest and my house are a few shrubs. Will that be enough?" She asked him with worry on her face as she slowed and finally came to a stop.

((And if that is the case, would Aida know that Warren has the others captive? Or is she just in the area by chance? Have to wait for Gurnny to answer that... >.>))

Once he had finished cleansing himself in the fire, Warren wrapped his hand with cloth, and then continued to dress himself in his usual hunter's garb. Stepping outside of his room, Warren started walking towards the chapel, while it wasn't required that a hunter must pray in the chapel almost every day, Warren believed that in order to have god fully support him in his tasks, he should speak with the lord whenever possible.

When he strode into the hunter's chapel, he let out a sigh when he saw how empty it was. He knew that the majority of the members only came when a sermon or meeting was in session, but he also knew that the hunters should have far more dedication to the church than that. As Warren walked down the aisle to the altar, he removed his hat, and lowered his gaze to the ground. When he reached the altar, he kneeled down and looked up into the stained-glass window. What it depicted was a divine looking figure, dressed in the same clothing as Warren was currently wearing, however the hunter in the glass was surrounded by cherubs as he drove his sword into the mouth of what appeared to be a were-wolf.

When he had finished with his prayers, Warren continued into the main meeting hall of the church, over the door he had entered from was the same stained-glass window he had prayed in front of in the hunter's chapel. As was to be expected, this room was slightly more crowded than the hunter's chapel. He was slightly saddened by the fact that this was probably only due to the dual purpose of the meeting hall. Along with being the main place of worship in the church, it also served as a place to discuss the non-religious matters of the church.

This time, Warren took a seat in one of the many benches facing the front of the room, and began to pray once again. Unfortunately for Warren, his weapon was slightly damaged in the attempt to capture the damned vampire Thalen, and the weapon smith had probably not had enough time to repair it, so Warren decided he would stay here until he felt he had waited enough, after that he would resume hunting the non-humans that Thalen had mentioned.

((She can meet him here))

Kolette entered the room, her hair windswept from her flee. She smoothed her hair gently as she entered the main meeting hall, even if she had chagned, to be in a more apropriate attire for attending the holy place, she had forgotten to fix her hair. Pausing to glance about the crowded room until she sighted her target.

She made a small "ah ha" sound, as she made her way through the room, making one swipe at her hair as she made her way through the room.

A path cleared easily for her easily, making her trip towards the other human male quick. Her pause had had another meaning, it had made sure that the rooms other occupants, if not sitting, facing forward and praying as they should, saw her, making it easier for her to find a seat as the others were.

She sat lightly, and quite daintily, bowing her head slightly to murmur a few prayers before allowing one amber eye, the closest to Warren, open and gaze apon him, wondering if he was finished enough to chat. Not that it mattered to her, she just didnt want to interupt, and if she did, it would have been acceptable, no one would have thought twice about it. She was who she was after all, and no one questioned her actions being heiress to the religion. She glanced down, trying to act uninterested, even if she was. Smoothing her long dark skirts for a moment, she sle one more glance before allowing herself to be distracted by a loose thread not too far from her fingertips.
"So, how'd it go with vampires?"

Abel stopped slowly, and as smoothly as he could, hoping he hadnt hurt Aida any further. He took a quick glance about himself, in search of the bushes before turning back to Kaori. He shifted Aida lightly on his back, his eyes narrowing from the sunlight. He nodded a bit, before shifting his weight from one foot to the other, immediately regretting it, hoping he didnt disturb Vampiress on his back.
"I dont know, but we'll need to hurry. . ."

He shifted his weight again, one side to another, getting antsy in his worried state, but hoped it wouldnt show too much. Abel turned to gaze off at the distant horizon, hoping it wouldn't be too long before he knew more about the vampiress.

Aida awakened and instinctively grabbed the stranger and pulled herself against him. She found herself momentarily disoriented, as though she were spinning through the air.

"Inside," she hissed. "Please--" the disorientation took over and Aida found herself vomiting violently. Fortunately for her helper she had eaten so little over the past few days that there was basically nothing left for her to expel but stomach acid. Even still, stomach acid does not make a very nice compliment to one's regular garments, and had Aida been somewhat still in her mind at that point, she would have felt a great deal of guilt about the entire incident.

As it was, she didn't become fully aware of her surroundings until they were safely inside the house and a good ten minutes had passed. Once the room stopped spinning wildly, she managed to look up at her two rescuers and give them a faint smile.

"Thank you."

Warren was aware of the approaching figure from the moment it entered the room. He could hear its footfalls as it approached, they were too light for most full grown men, yet too spaced apart to be that of a child, and from the sound of it, others seemed to move as the figure approached, possibly marking him or her as an important person.

Warren had his guesses that the one who sat next to him was the religion’s heiress, but he wasn't completely sure until her question. Recognizing her voice, Warren's eyes remained closed as he replied, "I was able to.... persuade... Thalen to tell me of a few hideouts belonging to other members of his damned brethren." Warren couldn't help but smile slightly as he continued, "Thalen, his wife, and his foul offspring will be entirely dust in a few hours after sunrise."

Opening his eyes entirely, Warren turned his head to look at Kolette, "It's a pleasure to see you again m'lady, I'm merely waiting here until the smith is finished with my weapon, then I intend to rally a few of my brothers, and start with the few houses in town that Thalen mentioned." Warren paused for a moment before continuing, "Forgive me, in my eagerness, I almost forgot to ask you why you decided to bless me with your presence." Warren did not mean this to be an insult, on the contrary, After god, the ones he revered most was the leader of the church, and the heiress.

Kaori nodded at Abel and closed her eyes. Holding her hands together, she concentrated strongly on the space between them. After a short while, shadows began to form there. As the young witch spread her hands the shadow grew until fiannaly it encompased the three of them. She knew she would not be able to hold the shadows there, for long, so she nodded to Abel and they moved towards her house again. Once they got to the saftey of the shadows there, Kaori let the shadows disippitate (spelling?). Leading Abel to the living room, she waited for him to lay the girl on the couch before sitting down next to her.

It had been a strain for her to hold the shadows around the three of them for so long, and now she felt compleatly weak. When she heard the girls thanks, she mearly smiled at her.

Kolette smiled faintly as she turned her head toward him, nodding a bit in her approval. "Excellent. . .I'm glad, he was beginning to become quite a . . .nuisance, for lack of a better word. And they will fetch us quite a sum of gold, if things are still as they were. . ." Kolette tilted her head slightly in thought. Keeping her language pure while in the temple, knowing better. But as most things she did, it was more of a conceited thing in the eyes of the young woman.

Her intentions almost steadily were apon that of herself. Keeping her language clear, also gave her a more innocent reputation. People would more easily take her side, if she appeared innocent and defenceless. No matter if she had taken joy from moments ago, killing or injuring a nonhuman even if it was from purely vain, in more ways than one. "Why thank you, Warren, it is nice to be able to relax, even if it is for short moments, such as these, when i am simply asking for aide."

She sighed lightly, not really caring much for the question he had just presented. But, even if unwillingly, she would answer. Even if it came to damper her disposition. "Alright, Warren, I guess I'll go right to the point, I need help, if you can manage to tear ourself away from the vampires for at least a few days. And nonsense for your weapon, We can get you another, even if it is only for the task at hand." Kolette's gaze shifted, trying to make it appear as she didnt care, whether she got help, even from him or not. But it really bothered her to ask, she was suppose to strong, a leader when her dear father, passed on, or was too old to lead them any longer. Reputation was a big deal to her.

Abel groaned slightly as she grabbed at him, pain shot through his body from his side. But he tried to straighten himself, raise himself to his full heigth until he felt the girl sliding again. "Well, to your house it is, then" Abel took off again, a light trot again, yet faster than the first time, he felt the urgency more than ever now, than before.

As Aida woke, Abel was kneeling next to her, shirtless, as she had just dirtied the one he had been wearing. He looked down at his bandage, making a small grumble about 'its no problem, miss. . .' before reaching down to tug gently at the bandage. He had never been good, with apology's, pleases or thank yous, or anything of the like, it was his demon side and his shifter side clashing, shifters personality's were a lot of that of a human's though, seeming to only make it worse. The bandage was almost thoroughly soaked with his blood now, and he tugged a bit at the cloth, pulling it a little away from his pale skin until it hurt.

He was still curious to know about her. Why she was here, and where she had come from, knowing about her past would be interesting also, but he wouldnt push it. Abel lifted his head to gaze at Kaori, he could sense how weak she was, and he wanted to atleast thank her, even if it wasnt crystal clear that he was doing it. "I can stay here, with her, you need rest, why dont you go lay down. I'm sure she'll be fine." Though his face was set, his eyes softened a bit, hoping it was clear to her, before turning back to Aida, feeling he couldn't meet the young witch's gaze any longer.

Kaori smiled at Abel, then her eyes drifted down to his side. "I'll be fine in a little bit. I just need something to eat. What about you though? Your bandage needs changing..." As she said this, her hands drifted to the pouch that she had tied back onto her thigh. She still felt as if it were her fault that he had gotten injured in the first place.

Abel nodded a bit in response, "I still think you should go eat, and get some rest." He glanced quickly back down at his bandaging, tugging at it one more time before responding on the subject, still looking down at it. "Well, I guess you could, before you go. . .then you won't have to worry about it later."

Sure Abel could sense a lot of things, but the young half demon was no mind reader. He sat emotionless, and totally oblivious to the fact she blamed herself. It turns out, you miss out on a lot of things, keeping yuorself sheilded off from others, not getting too close to anyone. But the young man was all too guilty of this, and was still clueless on this also.

Aida nodded woozily, staring at Abel's wounds. The blood which dripped from them... Absolutely entrancing. She knelt before him and began lapping at the crimson stains, delicate pink tongue flickering over the wounds. Her saliva was a two-edged sword; like all blood-drinking creatures, it would inhibit clotting, making wounds bleed longer, but unlike all other blood-drinking creatures, it would render her meal immortal--at least temporarily--and so the blood loss could not possibly kill him. In the meanwhile, though, as Aida's magic entered his bloodstream, energy and strength began to return while his wounds themselves went numb and began to heal. If she kept this up for much longer, she'd have to bite him...

Aida sat back, temporarily satiated. Here eyes had shifted from brown to bright red, and her pallid skin now held a soft flush. She stood and bowed. "Mommy called me Aida." She clapped her hands suddenly together, a grin spreading on her face. "You can call me Aida, too, and we can be best friends and a family again! Oh, I would like that very much." She turned and bowed to the female as well. "Who are you? You can be my sister."

One did not get very far in the order of the hunter's without being able to accurately guess the thoughts and feeling of others. In Warren's opinion, it was the most useful trait to have in his line of work. He knew that a person in Kolette's position would have a large burden to carry, after all, once her father passed away, she would be in charge of one of the largest growing religions of the time. Warren knew that there wasn't much he could do to help Kollete in that matter, after all, in the end the burden would only make her stronger, and the church needed a strong leader.

Kollete's tone told Warren that she was reluctant to ask for help, however, if the religion’s heiress requested his aid, he would do whatever he could to help her. "Of course I will help you m'lady, dealing with vampires is but one aspect of our lord’s divine plan, and I'm sure that you would only request my assistance in a matter of great importance." Standing up, Warren looked down at Kollete with a small smile on his face, "As for my blade, I'm sure that a substitute will be sufficient until the deed is done."

The sound that Abel made, sounded more like something that would come from an animal, rather than from anyone anthro. It was loud, and of anger, and surprise. It had shocked him as she knelt before him, and licked his wounds. He threw himself backwards, his arms flaling wildly.
"Wha-What in the hell are you doing?!"

Abel was furious, who did she think she was? Making him her next meal, his usually calm, gray eyes were wide with anger. On the other hand he was glad to see her looking a bit healthier, but he figured one emotin at a time, and it alwasy seemed easier to show anger than happiness.
