`Chloe Sullivan` The only thing fetu is that they have made references to his journalism on more then one occasion such as in Commencement when he says "I was actually thinking about going into journalism. Don't tell Chloe but i think it's growing on me" They make references but they never actually show him going into it. `Chloe Sullivan` Well then i don't know what she is talking about. He killed the park ranger in Wither. I don't think killing off characters makes a show more suspenseful when every other freak of the week dies. What would be better is if they actually showed them being brought to justice, rather than just killing them or packing them off to Belle Reve.

The Lady in wither wasn't human...And putting her in jail would be useless. She could escape easily. The only soultion is death.

She was killing people as well. He had no choice. He wasn't killing INNOCENT people. You are trying to make Clark look like the bad guy when you say that. That was ONE person.

`Chloe Sullivan` Without Jonathon the whole story of superman and how he came to be is pretty much gone. Jonathon was the one who talked him into BECOMING superman, Jonathon was the one who GAVE Clark his costume, and Jonathon was the one who BROUGHT superman back from the deadafter he was killed by doomsday. Jonathon played a bigger role in Clark's becoming of superman then Lana or any other character could have done. They could just work there way around that...

He still killed her, which directly violates Superman's code of ethics. It's not about whether she's human or not; he's not human himself and he doesn't operate on an "eye for an eye" basis. I'm not saying he was the bad guy, but I don't think that he should be killing people.

Well, what the writers should have done is brought in the Phantom Zone, deus ex machina crystal sooner so that he could have sent her back to the Phantom Zone. Alternatively they could have had her escape and he could have dealt with her after they had brought in the crystal; even in that situation if they'd just thrown a line into another episode like "I took care of that park ranger, too". Alternatively again, they could not have written themselves into a corner in the first place. It sounds cliche, but in that situation, he always "finds another way". The problem is that the writers need to think up what that other way would be, and there are obviously time constraints; and, in that situation, you're right, there weren't many alternatives.

Putting them in the Pz zone? Well look what good things came out of that. They escape and murdered more people..Didn't the park ranger even say it was her nature to kill people?>

And yeah, she did. That was probably part of her backstory just so that it would be 'okay' to kill her.
