I don't believe in aliens...maybe they are other lifeforms out there but they wont be like us, you know, eble to reason and such. And if I'm wrong, let me die in ignorance stare

So if they can't reason, that makes them not alien? I believe that for the purpose of... most anything, alien life-forms are anything that is alive on an exoplanet. Or one in our solar system, I guess, but we're fairly certain by now that we're the only ones in our neighborhood... That definition encompasses everything from bacteria to complex organisms. Not sure if includes viruses; it'd be redundant, anyway, since viruses need something else to do the reproducing for them.

I do believe that there is other life out there. How could human kind be so dumb and conceited to think they're the only ones?

Monkeyinafryingpan I myself do believe in aliens, somewhere out there. There is just too much space for there to be only one planet with life. and besides that I also agree with Siderea.

A long time ago, I saw them in the night sky.
It had been a bright moving light spot. It appeared, disappeared, appeared again and finally disappeared. The movement was different from the one of a plane. And it's also impossible to be a star. So it has to be Aliens.

i think it would be rather arrogant to think that we are the only life in this universe !! - not only that but it would be even more arrogant to think we are the only intelligent life in it - we might be the morons of space.... 4laugh rolleyes

There is infinite space out there, there is so end, how can this small planet possibly be the most intelligent life there is?!?

I believe in the possibilty of aliens and hope, if they exist, that they will make themselves known to humans on Earth.

I agree with the original post. There are just way too many planets for us to be the only life force in the universe. I don't really know how this contradicts Christians (my religion) but I think aliens would look just like us or some form of us. Nothing wild and imaginative.

LuckyMX I agree with the original post. There are just way too many planets for us to be the only life force in the universe. I don't really know how this contradicts Christians (my religion) but I think aliens would look just like us or some form of us. Nothing wild and imaginative. Thank god (no pun intended) some sanity. Yes, think about it, the universe does NOT end!!! EVER!!! No loop, no walls, nothing, it is INFINITE! There HAS to be lifeforms out thee that are smarter than us!

It doesn't really contradict Christians. In one of the books (bible? BoM? D&C? i can't remember) it says that he has created worlds without number. So it makes sense that there would be life on some of those worlds
