You know, if we're to get real technical here, "Miss" is just a title, or honorific, so Tanpopo is still the name... I'm still skeptical about this "hint", though... Then again, I'm skeptical about everything! ^^;

She says the "name starts with a", and also made another jab at saying that she didn't necessarily mean USER name, which gives an even looser need to include titles or honorifics, but rather their call-name, perhaps.
I apologize, I'm a bit of a compulsive debater, and this topic caught my attention since I'm not too sure how much we can trust the source...

Could be middle name...last name...etc... I still suggest we sheep the Ts because a clue like "name starts with a" could be to mislead people.

What would be ruining the game is logging on to another players account, reading their placement PM without their permission, and spreading that information or otherwise affecting the game with that information.
